I've been going here for four years & of the four branches I've been to, this is my favourite. The staff are always friendly & you can ask them any question & they usually have a good answer for you. I've also had an eight month long serious issue getting my cats to eat & was trying & returning super premium foods & asking questions & generally feeling like a pest & telling my life story every time I went in & every single time every single staffer I encountered was wonderful & never gave me any grief, only help. Brilliant store. Best staff! Not the greatest choice of products but still good.

Took my 10year old long hair chihuahua for his first full groom. I was so nervous as his coat was so lovely but I wanted to make it easier for him in summer because it was quite thick and he is 10. The girls took all of my "requirments" and assured me he was in safe hands. 2 hrs later I was picking up the most handsome little man. They did a great job! I was worried for nothing. He looks a treat and will definitely be back to get a touch up in a few months. My only concern is his new increased confidence.. this was not necessary but he knows he looks good so what can you do!

I have been shopping at Petbarn for years and have always been happy with the service and products etc. Over the past 6 weeks however I have been so impressed with the staff especially Michael who has helped me endlessly to find food, treats and other options for my very sick dog who also lost her appetite. Michael has been so patient and understanding and very helpful with his knowledge on the multiple occasions I drop into the store. Not once did he give up trying to help us. His love for dogs shines through and I can't thank him enough for finding a solution for us.

I visited this place because on the side of the building it said that they have adoption options, which I thought meant feline and canine enclosures. I was quite surprised when I went in that there were nothing of that nature. Staff were friendly and there were a lot of dog owners who were grooming their dogs. There were a lot of pet accessories for sale. The place was kept nice and tidy. I would recommend this place for those who need to buy things for their pets but definitely not the place if you want to consider adopting on the spot.

Terrible experience went to buy a goldfish got talked into a beta fish then the thermometer I purchased was faulty. The fish was half dying so went back the next day to buy a filter (which no one told me I needed) & exchange the thermometer. The fish was not looking good & at this stage it was after business hours so I drove to a suburb far from mine to buy a bigger secondhand tank but by the time I came home the fish had died. Couldn’t be bothered dealing with the store again to ask for refund so just copped it

I was referred to Windsor from Newstead for grooming. Not only is the groom terrible (although explained exactly the same as I would at Newstead) my dog is shaking and hiding under the bed. When I called to find out what happened I was brushed off without any explanation or apology. I never complain publicly but I’ve been asked about the grooming here and based on conversations at Newstead was told it was the same quality. It isn’t. I won’t be returning.

I have a warm spot for Petbarn. Franchise chain it may be. Perhaps it just comes down to successful merchandising, customer focus and brand promotion in store, but I rarely have anything of a bad time (disregarding the moment I learn the actuality of my hefty checkout totals)... at any of the Petbarn stores and usually find myself impulsively picking up well beyond my intended purchase! Good one, Petbarn!

Outstanding service. I use Petbarn Windsor for food and accessories for our dog and cat and have always had great service. I also use the grooming service which is amazing. My teenager wanted to set up an aquarium and after two visits he now has new fish happily swimming around. Michael was a fountain of knowledge and very patiently answered all our questions. Highly recommend.

We took our Springer Spaniel Merlot to Petbarn today for a wash and style cut. He isn't the most socialised dog in the world but the staff got him settled really easily. When we collected him later that day we were so pleasantly surprised at the great job done. Thank you to everyone involved for your efficiency and attention to detail. My two dogs are regulars at the groomers here, including my elderly border collie x. The staff are always gentle and patient with the dogs, and really seem to learn their personalities. Neither dog likes bath time when I’m doing it, but they always trot over to the grooming door enthusiastically when we enter the store - they can’t wait to catch up with their friends!

Petbarn at Windsor has always been a reliable source for pet needs. They've recently made big improvements to their food sections and they are always offering discounts on bulk-buy purchases as well as membership discounts. Along with pet grooming, GreenCross Vet services and RSPCA adoptions, they are one of the best out there for looking after your pet.

We adopted our first cat from here on an impulse and it was the best decision we made to adopt through petbarn/RSPCA. Signing up to their database as well has had so many benefits when we're buying cat food. We also bought some fish from here and the staff were always really knowledgeable and willing to help us through all of our concerns

If you have a specific thing to buy, either ring first or click and collect as not all stores have the full range (eg, this store didn't sell Pedigree dry dog food). Other than that, large range, logically set out in individual animal sections. Good prices on bulk food. Massive amounts of parking and you can bring your dog if leashed.

Very happy with service here. A large, well stocked pet shop with all you'd need for your pet. Some fish and hermit crabs and a couple of cats. They sell rescue cats for RSPCA so can research online. Great thing is that you find out cat's personality which helps. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Bought home my forever cat!

Our local place to pick up food, litter and toys for our kitty cat. Staff are friendly and helpful, and their range of foods, toys and treats is quite impressive, for both cats, dogs and small pets. They have a grooming parlor attached, and have recently started housing some RSPCA cats and kittens for adoption - so tempting!

Says on Google that it’s open until 6 on weekdays, but when you go to all the effort to go there to actually buy anything, the inside of the store looks like the picture attached, and they blame it on “flood damage” that happened several months ago. Plenty of time to update your store’s information, so why haven’t you?

Good range, and the staff are really helpful, without needing to be asked. Michael was very understanding and compassionate about the recent loss of our beloved pup. They've got an excellent range which we can tap into to prepare for our new puppy. I'm glad they have a loyalty program.

Especially recommend the grooming salon at Windsor. They are so gentle and kind and really lovely to our pet, who is a bit hard to handle sometimes. All the staff are super knowledgeable and relaxed in their approach to sales. Loyalty program also worth signing up!

Visited the store yesterday. Aaron was amazing. So patient with my 3 girls talking about the fish. Such a lovely informative man. The girls left commenting on how incredibly nice he was. We have been there three times and we all commented that he was the nicest.

One-stop shop for pet lover. Professional and courteous staff, definitely they know what they are selling, and services needed. A bit pricey but, having a pet is not a cheap at all anyway. Heaps of free parking space.

I like to support Pet Barn as they are open long & convenient hours and the staff are also helpful and knowledgeable. A large range of products also and if they are out of stock they dont hesitate to order it for you.

My baby Bear had his first groom at Petbarn Windsor. It was such a beautiful experience and he absolutely loved it. Now Bear’s clean, fresh and super fluffy. Cindy and the staff are just amazing!

Prices covered over leading to deceptive pricing. Store manager served me and spoke about how much was saved at checkout. There was no savings at all. He said he would talk to head office.

One star. The food at this place was terrible, and talk about service! The staff took forever to get to my table, so I had to get my own food. It tasted like dog food. Would not reccomend.

Loved my visit here, all the staff were super friendly and approachable! They gushed over my puppy and had heaps of helpful advice. Highly recommend especially for first time pet owners.

Staff are really friendly and the shop is always clean. It would be good if they stocked medium bags of dog food. Other than the small bags, they then jump to 20kgs!
