MASTER CLASS IN HOW TO LOSE CUSTOMERS I'd give minus 10, but 1 is as low as it goes. I stopped at this gas station, puchased gas, donated some food and water to some men outside. I parked my handicap vehicle in the handicap spot, rushed up to the door: I had to go! I had been driving for 3 hours distributing food and bottled water to the homeless downtown Edmonton. I HAD TO GO. Some bloke inside made me pass money thru a little slot but would not let me in to urinate. I begged him. He sat there, behind a one inch thick plate glass window, wearing a mask. I showed him my double vaccination papers. He just shook his head. I showed him my QR code. Finally I offered to pay him. He never even spoke, just sat there, shaking his head. I jumped back into my handicap rig and raced away trying to find a place to go to the bathroom. I made it to 7-11 just before soiling myself. Petro Canada will be reported to the disiability ombudsperson an I will never buy their gas again.

Twice now i have to be turned away because apparently if your gift card is malfuntioning and wont swipe they will refuse to give you gas. Yet at every single other petro canada i go to with these giftcards if that happens they will just type in the code and oh guess what it works. I just took a major cut at work and need to use these cards to fill up my tank and i cant pay cash so now i have to go scrounge up money or go find another petro can that will actually know how to do a simple transaction. Never have a been to a store or any kind where is a giftcard malfunctions they cant put it through manually. The first time i went through i even asked him so what im out $50 cause apparently you guys cant fix the issue? He said yeah pretty much. Which is utter bull. Petro you need to hire some better employees who actually know what customer service is cause over the years iv never had this poor of customer service.

Since the new owners took over this location is going down hill. Used to go here often, got to know the staff. The staff now either dont care to learn the job or just dont care in general. Went for a 2 am drink run a few nights back and stood by the "after hours" window for about 30 min no one came. Today went for a pack of bus tickets and the person running the till declared they didnt sell them when i used to buy them often from that location. When i ask if he was sure he barely looked for them. I could have told them which drawer to look in but it wasnt worth the hassel when i had people starting to line up behind me

This places management needs changing. They’re supposed to close their doors to the public at 9pm however every time I’ve gone it’s been closed at around 8:45pm which then makes trying to get anything from here impossible. Every interaction I’ve had with an employee they have brought back items I never even described. If I could put zero stars I would (Edit): Nothing has changed. There is new staff but the service and management is still the worst I’ve ever seen. Went to get slurpees at night and was told they don’t serve slushies at night because “some people make mess” Won’t be coming back.

You're lucky to receive any kind of service here, a place where the monolithic neanderthals are always at a challenge to doll out the correct change with the proper furrowing of their heavy-set brows, never mind offering up the most basic human courtesies. Going here is like a blast from the past, it transports you to a simpler time in human history, where grunts and nods took place instead of customer service. A thrilling vacation spot, don't miss it!

The employees of this little place are excellent. On every shift. I truly am a believer in customer service. I would hope that whomever owns this place could put a little more into bringing in up to date pop. I drink diet Pepsi. Not old diet Pepsi. Now this is not the fault of the people that work there it would be in the stock on hand. When buying gas it is sometimes easier to grab things at the store. Anyway. I highly recommend this location.

Tried to use the air compressor to fill my tire at this gas station and it ate my toonie, the compressor was broken. Told the attendant and they said there is nothing they can do because it’s a different company… apparently happens a lot, his manager told him to say this. I suggested they at least put up a sign to warn people - the attendant didn’t care. Short sighted decision by management. Will be boycotting this gas station going forward.

When you have workers thumbing their phones, then you have workers with the dexterity and time to sanitize your washrooms and keep them open for people. I get it, COVID, but that's not valid when there's more than one worker. Also, being rude to someone who is kindly addressing you in visible discomfort so they may avoid a very embarassing situation? Be a human being. Shout out to McDonald's up the street.

This gas station is run incredibly poorly. The staff are incredibly rude, and stand around talking while there are people lining up. The Slurpee machines are a game of chance, as the flavours never match up with what they're labelled as. You want root beer, and you get Pepsi. The staff here need re-training or replacing, since they don't seem to know how to do their jobs properly.

The gas is very low quality for the regular gas. Can cause vehicles to stall and other engines to rough idle. Beware going to this has station for gas! Other than that it has good customer service and a nice a&w. Revision: As of 2021-09-24, they've upgraded their pumps so the low quality gas issue might not be a problem anymore

This place is so terrible. I have left twice without buying anything because the men working the night/late shift are awful.(Doors were locked at 9pm). They are incompetent and cannot understand anything said to them even when shown a PICTURE of the product I wanted he brought something not even related.

They lost and will continue to lose business as long as they continue to lock the doors at 9 pm. This is ridiculous. Don't know how they are going to keep that up in -40 weather. They also stopped the ability to use apps like apple wallet or storecard so you are forced to keep their card on you.

This place is an absolute joke the night staff are a bunch of ignorant entitled d!ck heads who have no idea what customer service is let alone being able to understand what plain chips are! People should be able to have access to simple snacks without attitude and ignorance! Fix this place!

Weird gas station, lady at the cash register said she doesn’t work there and doesn’t know what loonies or quarters are? Not the first time I’ve been here and the person on the register says they don’t work there. Weird place to hangout, I wonder where the employees are???

Filled up and went to use the washroom. They are refusing and stating Covid as the reason. This is bull and as such I refuse to give this petro any business. I suggest all people should boycot any business that refuse due to covid. Its a joke and is not a safety issue.

I had a visit to this place. Very good customer service and friendly people specially the night shift staff of Friday and Saturday. They really help and support. Store was clean and tidy. Everything was organized and perfect. The staff efforts should be appreciated.

You've hiked your prices up to 126.9 every morning this week (Apr 22-26/19), just to lower it again to 115.9 by lunch. While that's not illegal, it's certainly unethical and I'm boycotting this location until I see positive change.

The price on the wall and the price rang up as differently. I went to show the wall price and said it was expired and they wouldn’t give it to me. As far as I know, as a vendor you must give the advertised price but they did not

Will not allow the disabled to use washroom. A and W drive through said opened when it was actually closed. Overall bad experience. Fuel up, washroom, and get food elsewhere that’s more appreciative of their customers.

If I could leave a no star rating I would. Went to get a morning snack at 6:30 am and the doors were locked. No access to the closed a + w. Employee could not speak English. It's morning rush hour and your closed?

Waited around in the rain for a half hour for someone to come to the door. Locked out no one around. Just close this junkbox for the night if your employees around sober enough to work. Not impressed

Excellent service, stocked shelves, and great food at the A&W make this one of the best gas stations I have gone too. The new management has done great work making this location appealing to shop at.

Lot dirty with litter. Windshield washer fluid and paper towels were empty at my pump. Aggressive panhandler near the door. Only one cashier open with long lineup to pay. Not a pleasant experience.

Giving them 5 stars because of the excellent customer service which I received when I had a visit to this place on friday night. That guy was friendly and helpful. Strongly recommend this place.

Gas, that is much more than it should be, because gas prices are a scam and all gasoline companies appear to be operating as a monopoly. $1.50+ for premium gas.. get out of here....

Fine place to gas up your vehicle or get a snack. Avoid the A&W staff are careless when preparing orders if you food allergies double check they made your food correctly. ..

Got propane and the guy working counter said he’d be out after them. 20 mins and dozens of customers later had to go back in and complain in order to get help. Ridiculous

I needed gas, they had some. Pretty solid overall experience. Big store. Big clean lot, easy access. They have an A&W but I've never actually eaten at that one.

Today there was no running water in the bathroom. 2019-08-25. Had to ask to use sink behind the counter to wash hands. Otherwise very clean Petro Canada.

Useless info on hours. Bank ATM says 24H but store locked at 10pm. Will be notifying bank as well. A&W inside is good but SLOW after breakfast!!

Staff here are great. Has a a+w inside. Which is awesome. . . They lack some basic pharmacy/medical/personal type items tho. Great coffee.

Propane price is 10 more than advertised and they will not correct at the till. Way more than every store in the area, avoid.
