This would be 3.5 stars but since we can’t do halves I’ll put it at 4 stars. Overall price wasn’t amazing - a bit on the higher end of what I’d like to pay compared to San Francisco Bahn mi stores or little corner Bahn mi stories, but the food was definitely more fresh and light compared to fast Asian food. You can taste the lack of grease and fillers and heaviness. If you’re looking for more authentic Asian and healthier than Panda Express then this isn’t a bad option. I was desperately craving bahn mi and didn’t want to drive too far and this was about 20 minutes out for me. We ordered orange chicken (it was okay - definitely fresh and “healthy” compared to a Panda Express, with fresh grated orange zest, but it lacked any punch like a little vinegary tang or spice like Panda Express). The pork spring rolls were awful. These were “real” spring rolls (not cooked), as opposed to the crispy friend egg rolls. For $2.95 for 2 it definitely wasn’t worth it. Bland. The vermicelli beef bowl was better. It was loaded with the veggies and lettuce and a little side of sweet and fishy sauce stuff. The noodles were a little more on the mushy side as compared to sweet potato noodles. The highlight was the Bahn mi. My only complaint was that there was a thick piece of lime rind as I bit into my sandwich, and the last complaint is that the jalapeños were pretty thick. I love spicy and I like jalapeño, but I prefer it spread all over the sandwich in thin pieces than 4-5 thick chunks. The photo shows the sandwiches at $5.95, but the have upped the price to $6.95. Not a rip-off, but definitely not a deal. I know it’s just a dollar difference but at $5.95 I would be more likely to return often. Also don’t love tipping at pick up (I understand if I sat down and was served), but I’d rather tip than fear that something bad happened to my food behind the scenes. Overall worth it if I’m desperately craving bahn mi. But only desperately. I’ll update this review once I try the pho.

If you're looking for a great bowl of pho in Laveen, look no further! Although the menu isn't as big as others, this Vietnamese restaurant serves all the typical items you're looking for when going to a pho shop. You cannot not order the Pho Dac Biet. Not only did it come out fast (within 10 minutes), the pho broth was hearty and full of flavor! Can't wait to come back and try the Bun bo hue. The sampler platter is the way to go if you want to get a taste of some of the appetizers they offer. The portion size is smaller, but it's a good variety. It comes with 2 eggrolls, 2 spring rolls, 2 chicken wings, and 2 potstickers. Although it did come out after the pho I ordered, I didn't mind much. The grilled pork banh mi sandwich was really good too. Full of flavor! Portion size good for a small meal or a good sized snack. Overall, the staff was very attentive, the restaurant was really clean and we are happy for this great addition to the Laveen area!

The pho was really good. I got the "Special Bowl" which seems to be their house beef. It's all their beef (rare beef, brisket, tendon) and whatever is in the meatballs. The broth was outstanding. Our main issue was service/attitude, followed by speed of service. It took a while for our waiter to take our order. We ordered the appetizer sampler, my wife's fried rice (with a soda), and my soup. My soup came out first after about five minutes. I had to stop eating and let my soup go cold before they delivered my wife's fried rice... And when they finally brought it out, the guy says; "your sampler should be out soon." I was finished with my now cold soup, and my wife was half done with her shrimp fried rice before the appetizer showed up... My wife reminded the guy again that she had ordered a soda that he immediately got. Overall, I'd order take out here if you want Pho. Everything else is meh. And apparently they could care less if you dine in.

My wife and I have traveled the world eating some of the best Vietnamese food you can find. You would not expect to find it in South Phoenix (Laveen) let me tell you, but it is here! Pho Bowl makes some of the best Bahn Mi sandwiches we’ve had anywhere. They are fresh and you really can’t go wrong with the classic pork bahn mi or the chicken. Obviously the Pho is to die for. The secret is always in the broth with a good bowl of Pho and this one tastes like it is made right in the kitchen of an Vietnamese auntie! You can’t go wrong with any of the dry noodles dishes, the spring rolls, and of course the boba smoothies. Last but not least, the service is excellent! The owner and the employees do not stop smiling, interacting with the guests and even cracking jokes with families and their children. We feel so lucky to have this restaurant right in our “back yard.”

THIS PLACE IS A HIDDEN GEM Hands down the best pho place in Laveen! We came here, sat down, ordered 5 different things and everything was done in under 5 minutes WHILE they had tons of DoorDash orders came in. Super efficient! The pho was amazing, the short rib slid right off the bone, and everything was piping hot! The restaurant is clean and well kept, the staff are nice and definitely care about the quality of their food, and they play great music in here! I always have a great experience here and I’ll keep coming back for more.

I went for the first time today after seeing all the great reviews. I placed a to go order for the orange chicken and vegetarian egg rolls. Upon opening my order at home, I realized my order was completely messed up. I received pork rolls instead of vegetarian. For health reasons, I cannot eat pork. This was upsetting because I specifically asked that they make sure the egg rolls were vegetarian. Instead of receiving the orange chicken plate, I was given an order of chicken fried rice. Again, this is not what I ordered. I ate rice since I am about a 30+ minute drive away, and although it was good, it still wasn’t what I ordered. As for the pork rolls, they went to waste.

The entire staff is always friendly, the food is always spot on, the restaurant is always clean, and I will recommend this restaurant to all my friends. I have enjoyed the pho, as well as the spicy beef soup, shrimp fried rice, and spring rolls. The staff is always checking to make sure if we need anything, and are very prompt if we do. If you are a fan of Vietnamese food, please give this place a try. I think you’ll enjoy it :-)

If anyone is looking for an authentic Pho don't waste your time going anywhere else, just head out to Pho Bowl. They have 3 locations and boy I was blown away from their food. My favorite is Bon Bo Hue (spicy beef noodle soup) and they have the best in the valley. Found out the family is from city of Hue, so they know the real taste of how it should be. If I don't live clear across on East valley Pho Bowl will be my regular place I will be hanging out at. Jenny from 51st Ave is awesome, I will be going there whenever I am on that side of Phoenix. My friend lives not too far from there and he also loves their food. Highly recommend this place!

They have a bit of a rocky start. Most likely understaffed based off their help wanted sign. I ordered over the phone before my lunch break and was told 15-20 min. I work nearby so called in after 25 to see if it was ready so I could start my lunch break on time. They told me 10 more minutes. I go in believing them and they didn’t even greet me to tell me someone will be with me soon. After standing there in front of the line. I go back to work and then sent in my coworker later to get my food that I don’t even get to eat till I go home now since I lost my lunch break. I really should’ve just left it and not paid.

I was a little disappointed after seeing the 4+ stars. Pros: I ordered the beef & broccoli meal with an iced coffee (soua da?). Veggies were not overcooked. Iced coffee was very good (has a light caramel taste). Service was decent. Place is clean & bright. Cons: Portion was average. The amount of rice given was just as big as the meat & veggies - too much imo. Meat was dry, slightly overcooked. Soy sauce was very salty, I could barely finish the beef bcz of that.

Called this place about 13 times before driving out here my calls were never answered. I waited in line for 10 minutes the wait for food was 30-45 minutes for take out. I walked out because I saw the phone being picked up but not once was it picked up for me not even to be placed on hold. Every single table in that small place was taken for dine in. Absolutely no social distancing!! I was more upset about the lack of customer service as I’ve ate from the old location before and never had this wait time experience. If they don’t value my time they don’t deserve my $60 dollar order plus tip.

Amazing! My partner and I went here for the first time yesterday. We are vegan and absolutely loved the veggie pho! The fact that it comes with lots of veggies and tofu at a great price is a huge plus for us. Before coming here I searched the areas for pho and all other shops offered either no veggies or tofu, only veggies or only tofu, and that at higher prices. This place deserves its 5 star rating. Staff was super kind and friendly even though our 2 year old dropped some food on the floor. We will be back :)

Went into place the short lady took my order had attitude problem when i ordered i sat down to wait for my order she comes to makes me move so her friends can sit didnt have problem then so my problem was that she placed my order after their order and the order was not rite i told her she said no that's what you ordered. Very good pho place! They were very generous with the amount of shrimp they gave me in my shrimp pho. And the egg rolls were amazing! Cooked very well and literally are served right out the fryer. I appreciate that my food was hot, unlike some other pho places I’ve been to where basically it’s served cold. Great customer service, especially the manager and all the servers!!! Came in to order for carry out. They were rude and did not welcome me and my family but we over looked it. When the lady took our order she repeatedly kept walking away without saying anything. We ordered 2 orders of shrimp fried rice in which my husband orderd there before that he liked. This time although we ordered and paid for shrimp fried rice, we received shrimp and rice. Given my experience I will not be back although their orange chicken was okay which is why I gave it 2 stars.

The atmosphere is a bit awkward, it’s dead silent no music or televisions. You can just hear the conversations in the kitchen and people around you. It’s a bit of a wait when I ordered to go, but I will say it was very delicious and I was satisfied. The food overcame the awkwardness of the staff and environment! If you have time this place is for you. If you’re in a rush, stick to a fast food chain. The pho we picked to go was perfect to feed two people, we will be going back!

So I just recently moved to the area and I was looking for a nice pho place that’s quiet and not too busy cause I’m usually by myself when going out and I just have to say, 5 stars… 10 stars. The people are always so sweet and nice and the food comes out very fast and is always amazing. I usually go for the vermicelli noodle bowl but the other pho soup bowls are amazing as well. Pricing is perfect for lunch and dinner at around $10-13 a meal. I come like twice a week now

I ordered the number 12, which is the pho spicy beef soup. The soup wasn’t terribly spicy, if anything it was a well seasoned soup with a nice color to it. I did add some more Chile, soy sauce and lime to my liking and was on point. Originally I was going to order just the shrimp pho but my waiter told me I can also add shrimp to my soup. It would of gotten a five star from me if they added more than 3 shrimps for $3. Other than that it was delicious. Well recommended.

So. Great place to eat with your friends for some refreshing Pho. Is it a 5 star rating Pho? No. Is it a place I would recommend? Absolutely. Refreshing food. Good prices. Small business that is down the street from where I live. Absolutely love it. One crisitisim I have that can improve the Spring Rolls is using Romaine over Iceberg lettuce. (my best friends family owns one of the top performing Pho restaurants in AZ) Pho is 4 stars!

Arrived and sat down, took a while to get service. We put out order and waited...and waited... finally the food arrived, but partially. Again we waited for the condiments, utensils etc..finally after waiting for a while I got up and asked them for it, they apologized but by then the food was getting cold. The egg roll were hard and cold in the middle. Very disappointed and not planning to ever go back.

One of the best banh mi sandwiches I have ever had! No joke! The Pho is really good too. Honestly, all the dishes we have tried are delicious. They are also super friendly. This will be a regular restaurant for my family to eat at.

Had spicy beef soup and my son lo mein dish. But it was the spring rolls. We love spring rolls, but here was romaine with rice. There was a shrimp also rolled in it. No carrots no cucumbers. Just romaine and rice with the shrimp. Very small very disappointed. The Vietnamese coffe was pre made so I am not sure why it was so expensive at $5. A cup. I was disappointed with the meal.

I have nothing bad to say!!! Went and said i was going to try someone different and i did just that and loved it!! Everything they brought to the table was GREAT!! The customer service took the cake!! I was so impressed i went back the next day for the calamari!! It wasnt as good as the 1st time but it was still good!! My wife and I tried this place for the firsr time since moving to Laveen. I must say, we were overly impressed. We ordered the vegetable pho and the spicy beef pho to go. The portions werr plentiful, soup was piping hot and service was prompt. Once we served ourselves we realized it was the best Vietnamese pho we've ever had. We will be regulars for now on.

They have the best pho! They are the only Vietnamese restaurant in Laveen. Their egg rolls with fish sauce are a perfect appetizer. They recently slightly changed their recipe for their lo mein and it is not as salty. Everything in their menu has never disappointed me, and the amount of food for the price is excellent. I highly recommend this place.

Die to the current situation, Take out was our only option. Not only was the food prepared (and DELICIOUS) when I got there, but they made my drink after I arrived to ensure freshness and the best experience possible. I will definitely continue to order from them, and I will eat in restaurant when the stay home orders go away. Delicious!!!

My husband and I ate there today for the first time today. The food was AMAZING we each had a bowl of Pho and some bring rolls it was so good. The broth was great you can actually taste the seasonings in it.. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone we will be going back real soon.

My first time and I wasn't impressed. This could be because of only having take out. The spring rolls are rubbery. House fried rice, was basic. Tried the hot and spicy bowl, noodles were half cold, hot, and mushy. Wasn't sure if the meat was to be frozen or not, as it was my first time.

No one speaks to you when you walk in. The teenagers in the front are rude to customers. Watched one of the younger men drop the to go food on the floor and pick it up and put it in the bag, he looked around to make sure no one seen him. The food was definitely a two star.

This was the best pho I’ve ever had and I will be coming here very often . People complaining about the wait don’t seem to understand that this place was PACKED during their grand opening and it is a very small restaurant. I got mine to go to eat at work!

Waited forever and then asked to wait outside which I refused. Food finally came. And they did give me a extra servings for the wait. But when I got home and Tasted the food the chicken was dry and the steak. I’ll give it another try but wasn’t impressed.

Great service! Awesome food! Laveen is very lucky to get this place! The food is unique to Laveen. Waitress suggestions were spot on. I tried the shrimp and pork spring rolls and spicy soup. I am full and happy. Cannot wait to bring the family next time.

I LOVE Pho Bowl. I'm so glad that Laveen has a Vietnamese spot versus having to drive downtown. It's delicious. The staff are friendly! I feel like they'll need to expand to a bigger building too because they are always so popular.

By far one of the best pho broths that I've tasted. The service is not good yet, but they just opened and were completely slammed. I'm confident that their service will get better as they iron things out over time.

Beat the pants off the Viet place I had Pho at yesterday. The Pho here was so good I didn't even add hoisin or sriracha, and everything's reasonably priced. I won't be driving into central or tempe for pho no mo!

Me and my wife have been to a couple of Pho places and this place has been the best! Food is great, customer service is awesome and the coffee is really good

My husband and I love this place. We've had several items, my husband really likes the #6, and I like several different things on the menu.

I didn't even know this place was here. The customer service was great. I enjoyed the food. I will return so I can try other menu items.

Its good pho, their spring rolls are good as well with a single shrimp i have always seen them with 3 but other than that food ia good.

Flavorful phở soup, soft bánh mì thịt sandwiches, and good iced coffee. Service was better than most Viet restaurants

Broth was extremely savory! Rice was the best I have had! It was so good I couldn't stop to take pics lol next time!
