"We stopped in after driving 10 hours from Toronto"
"A very decent Pho place in Quebec City"
"This is the first vietnamese restaurant that I tried in Quebec city"
"We gave this restaurant a try despite the not-so-stellar reviews, and it exceeded our expectations"
"I ordered the crispy noodles and it was great"
We stopped in after driving 10 hours from Toronto. It is located close to Laval University so I'm guessing it was intended to attract the student population. The setup was an interesting cafeteria style restaurant with a fast food twist. The food was first ordered at the cashier and you had to wait for the food preparation which took a good ten minutes or so. After the meal you where expected to empty your trays similar to that of Ikea and McDs. The food was actually quite good at a fair price but I found the portions to be on the small side. The bowl of pho was good but not enough noodles to satisfy your hunger. Establishment was fairly clean.
A very decent Pho place in Quebec City. We were visiting in Old Quebec and were really craving Asian food. Found this place and ended up having good food. Everything is reasonably priced here. They have a self-serve counter where you line up and order. You can choose to take out or dine in. I ordered a small beef pho. The portion was perfect for me but was smaller in comparison to other places I’ve experienced. There’s no service so once you are done, you bring your plates and tray to a designated area (like in a mall food court). Overall, it was a good spot to go to if you are craving pho and can’t access your favourite pho restaurant.
This is the first vietnamese restaurant that I tried in Quebec city. The setup is a bit different from what I am used to: you order your food at the counter, they cook it and you bring it to your table with a tray and when you are done you bring the dishes to the garbage just like in a mall food court (I can hardly tip anyone here). I had a fresh shrimp roll with a beef pho. I was disapointed that there was no Thai basil with the condiment. The size of the bowl here was a large which was a equivalent of a medium in Montreal. The price is reasonable considering we are in Quebec city.
We gave this restaurant a try despite the not-so-stellar reviews, and it exceeded our expectations. The food was flavorful and served in generous portions, and the staff were friendly and had no problem with us ordering in English. Service was a bit slow - there was a line of about 10 people when we arrived. We waited in line for about 15 minutes and for the food for another 10 minutes (almost half an hour total). So don't come hungry. Also, the place could use some tidying. We easily found parking at the parking lot next door.
I ordered the crispy noodles and it was great. A super filling Cantonese chow mein with a super savoury gravy. I also ordered a pork spring roll. It was ok. Not a lot of fish sauce in the meat mix. My fiance ordered the lemongrass plate and it was exactly what you would expect at any other vietnamese restaurant. The price was right, and the lack of dark purple lights is always a plus in a restaurant in Quebec. I LOVED how unassuming it is. I'm excited to try the pho next time. We will definitely be back.
Good service, kind. One thing I noticed that I really liked was that one of the chef's made it a priority to keep surfaces clean. This attention to detail makes me comfortable eating here. I've noticed that they have increased the price since the last time I visited Quebec city. $12.65 incl tax for a large pho is on the edge of costing too much. I've been to fancier pho restaurants for less. Food however, is quite good. Would recommend if visiting and/or have some extra spending money.
If you go here GET THE IMPERIAL ROLLS,those are the best rolls i have ever eaten they are packed with meat and very crispy. You can order in advance and when you get your food, for example the soups they give amazing portion sizes that will fill you up for sure!

I ordered a small bowl soupe tonkinoise with beef and rice noodle (pho), shrimp tempura, and satay thai aux arachides. The pho is great. The soup is sweet and savory. Really good for a rainy days. The shrimp tempura is perfect. It's so crispy. My favorite. And the satay thai aux arachides is also tasty although the rice is a bit dry. But overall, it's good with reasonable price.

We were visiting Quebec and didn't know where to eat... We weren't expecting much but were well surprised. Pho was great. General Zhao chicken was fantastic Definitely a recommendation for somewhere to go if you're looking for a low key asian-ish fast food meal

SOSO。。。。expensive, not big. Taste like fast food, fast noodles. Cold water does not taste right, it is like not wash well, has the taste of desinfectant. I pay the tips, but I have to clean the table by myself and bring the bow and plate to the counter....food court quality and service with expensive price. I do not recommend.

We had beef pho, and the noodles and the meat was absolutely proper! The only thing they need to work on is their soup base. Taste a little too much like water, so more hours of boiling time and more meat ingredients in preparation of the soup would help.

The foods are fine but a little sweet, nothing special, self-services style, variety of different price. The orange rice with beef cube (Bo Luc Lac) is a little pricey and quite sweet to me, the rest are fine. The kitchen is at the front, so food smells will cling on you so stay away from the kitchen and you’ll be fine.
One pad saw and one crispy noodle cost 40$+ after tax. 2 dishes are extremely small. They didn’t even put any utensil in the bag, I need to ask my hotel to get some utensils. The taste is… well just look at the picture. Very bad experience.

Dont get what the hype about this place is all about. Maybe all the reviews were bought ? Soup tasted like water and really plain. There was no flavors and the portions were really small. It almost felt like they added artificial stock and hoisin sauce the cover for the plain flavor of their phos. Would not recommend.
I need to say it taste very good! Two engineer go to business trip with me. And they want to eat eastern food only.... We visit here for first day then every day they want to come here for lunch.... Just like I said, it’s taste very close for Asia. If you can’t accept Canada food. Welcome to here!
Requested to pay fees and tips before the service, I paid 15% tips for the getting food and cleaning up the table by myself. Didn’t know what’s the point of paying tips for the none service, for the cooking of food?

Do NOT try the Pho soup here!!! I never ate such a bad Pho soup they have here. (I have tried at so many places because this is my favorite soup.) Taste is pretty close to an artificial stock soup. Plus not thick enough and the meat is also bad quality. …
Ordered in at the hotel with Skip the Dish! The food was well packages and still hot when delivered! Very tasty and good! Just wished they included ustensiles with their order!

10 spring rolls for $10-12 @.@ best vietnamese spring roll deals ever shrimp spring rolls were so yum ~~ beef pho was avg tong yum kong noodle needed more flavor no table service no tips very good price for decent vietnames dishes
The staff was extremely unfriendly! The food didn't quite match my taste, but I would still rate it 7 out of 10. Unfortunately, the dining area was also quite dirty.

Although the taste of the Tom-Yum soup was good, I was disappointed that it lacked noodles (especially compared to the Tonkinoise soup others around me had. Regardless, I will give this restaurant another try.
Seem to be quite authentic. There is no service, no music, no decoration and the hygiene leaves a lot to be desired. But the PHO is very good and portions are satisfying. The rest really is not so special.
Great services super friendly love the authentic food makes you feel like you are in Montreal ♥️ Literally have their crispy noodle every weekend

Worst restaurant experience, food was awfully bad. Soup was cold and taste I don’t know what. My sister complained about her cold soup and they tried to heat it up in the microwave, really?
I'm from Montreal and when I visited Quebec, I decided to try their Pho here, it's nothing like in Montreal, I mean.. I can still eat it, but they made sure the Quebec culture will like it.
Well if You never tried decent Vietnamese food you may may find that this place is ok. For others this place is some kind of bad fast food. Also expensive for what you get in your plate.
For the price and quality, this is substandard. 11 cad for a large pho and 2 cad for a small apple juice. Pho is much oil on top and taste is mostly MSG or salty. Tourist trap. Avoid.
Fantastic food! General tao was absolutely delicious, really great meet. Very efficient and friendly service as well. Speaks English : ) highly recommend. Nice authentic asian food!

I was so happy to find this place near my hotel. Excellent Pho and fried banana. Yum! It's a self-service place but so are most other restaurants in this neighborhood.
Everything there is amazing. Service is super friendly, portions are good, and prices are very low. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes vietnamese food
Welcoming people, amazing service, quick and tasty food...great vegetarian options....very lucky this place stays open till late ....will keep coming here again:)
We ordered a few items, the beef pho was their best comparatively. Portions are small for the price tho.

Simple, healthy dishes and noodle soup. Spacious seating. Fast service. Good location. Especially, nice to be understood English in a French speaking place.
This is a hidden gem, the tokinoise soup was insane, so flavourful, like a warm comfort food! I had the imperial rolls as well they were delicious! More

We got it delivered and it was decent. The pho is great. The pad Thai just ok.. needs a bit of a kick if you ask me. But overall great experience
Although inexpensive for the city, it remains expensive for Viet food. Food is good, restaurant is ok in terms of cleanliness. I would recommend
Good price. Service and attitude was friendly. They spoke English, which was very helpful. Food was OK. Portions were small. But lower price.
Food is ok. The restaurant is self serve. However, still ask for tip. More likely a canteen of fast food. No service and it serves only food.
Best Pho soup in Québec City.

Amazing pho. Possibly the best I've ever had. Not what I expected in Quebec city but a pleasant surprise and exactly what I needed!
Very welcome staff, I ordered pad Thai with shrimps and spring roll and it was good. The place is clean and parking was not hard.
Tasty sandwiches and pho.I don't want you to go there so the lines don;t get too long for lunch!

Food was supper good and prepared right there in front of u hands down second best pho I've had across canada a1
Not the best quality price ratio. It used to be a lot better. I was still quite hungry after finishing my meal.
I’ve ordered beef tonkinese soup with a general tao plate. It was good! I will return for the soup for certain!
Tom Yum Soup was awesome! Fried rice noodles with veggies was lacking in taste. Overall, not bad! (and fast!)
Very good Pho with exceptional flavour! They have tendon if you ask for it. Friendly staff and lots of room!
Overpriced food and very small portion. I ordered a large pho that cost 16$ and I was at most 50% full
Always good, fast and the staff is very polite and courteous. Good selection. Consistent flavors.
Very clean cafeteria order style pho place. Simple laid out menu. Their beef banh mi is tha bomb.
No frills, good cheap food. Only thing missing is some Thai Basil and fresh Jalapeño for the Pho.
Even though we went late at night almost at closing time, the food was great, and served quickly.
The food is incredible and at a good price. I highly recommend if you like authentic asian food.
Pho is very tasty, also loved the fresh roll, very generous portion with shrimp and chicken!
The portions are way too small and the menus look very dated... Time for an upgrade guys!
The food is great but over priced. The serving is too small for the amount.
Very good food but the smell of the food gets on your clothes and hair.
Fast service, excellent food, and reasonable prices. Would recommend!
Great Pho! Nothing too fancy, just a nice tasty pho. Fair price too!
Fantastic food at a very convenient price. Service is fast too.
The pho soup is just okay but it's not worth the price.
