Excellent food! Lots of unique and delicious pie flavours too. Small but delicious range of desserts. Best donuts and Berliners anywhere, they're light and fluffy inside and filled with generous amounts of jam or custard. They have a unique "drive through" system where you can park right out front for a quick stop before heading off again. There is also a carpark if you want to stop and eat under the varandah. Definitely my number one bakery!

Great pies, service and value. Large variety of pies, my favorites being: cheese burger; bacon, cheese & hash brown; and bbq pork. But all are really good. Staff are polite and quick to serve. The owner is friendly and always cheerful. I always leave there with a smile even if my favourite pies are sold out. Value for money: Two hot items and a cake for $10, that's the deal I always get. This is my favourite bakery in McLaren Vale.

We stopped in for a coffee yesterday. Once in the shop, we found nowhere to sit, but seating outside. It was a bit underwhelming as a Bakery but, to be fair, we were in just before closing time, so not a lot of stock left. The coffee was absolutely beautiful, the lass who served us was lovely, and brought us out a tart to share with our coffee. We were very pleasantly surprised. Thank you!

What a great find. We drive past it so often but decided, "let's give it a go." ..... We weren't disappointed. I had the tuna and sweetcorn pie, which was very flavoursome and packed with real food. Thoroughly enjoyed. Hubby also gave a thumbs up on his pie, too. It was also much cheaper than other places, which was a lovely surprise. Check it out for yourself.

My cousin and I called in to get some coffees. We thought it was gonna be a problem to park , but there was a huge parking area beside. The server was very pleasant. We sat outside and she bought out our coffees and a complimentary apple n Custard tart to share. We'll I was so impressed with the customer service and blown away by how good the coffees tasted.

Took my wife to this bakery after a day trip to this beautiful part of South Australia's wine district. We purchased a Potato pie, Cornish pasty and a vanilla slice, all for an unbelievable price of $10.00. I can honestly say the pie and pasty were both hot and the slice delicious. Will definitely be back again. Keep up the good work

Some great pies! Awesome cheese burger pie, well worth the stop, young fella loved the sausage roll, the beef curry wasn’t the best we’ve had but it was ok. Now the giant donut was used it for the young fellas birthday cake, and it was delicious, will definitely get another one. 5 stars, will be back again

My favourite pie and donut bakery in McLaren Vale and Meadows. My brekki pie was a Beef Pineapple Pizza Pie and rhe flavours were awesome. Coffe was wonderful and hot...Pie n Medium Coffee $9.50. HINT - make sure you have a donut, they are light and fluffy and the BEST donuts EVER.

Arrived at 12.30pm and most of the hot bakery items were gone which was disappointing. There also weren’t any gluten free options available (from what we could see) apart from 2 cake items. Good prices with deals available. They have a toilet and seating outside.

Really nice baked goods , just 2 problems , usually mostly empty shelves by 1 - 1.30 , and nearly everything has peas and assorted vegetables , which for us carnivores is a shock , considering it’s the only bakery I’ve been to that uses them In 99% of pies etc ….

Great old style pastries and cakes a good prices. The $10 for 2 hot choices and a cake is my favourite. The sausage roll is the best I've had in a long time and a 9/10 just behind Miles Qld at a 9.5! The pie fillings are sensational and not skimpy...recommended

Ugh, I’ve always enjoyed myself at this bakery but today I was overcharged and wasn’t offered the money back by the girl with red hair? I’d like the money for the overcharge back? Don’t think it’s ethically correct to not offer the money back.

We love this place pies are the tastiest ever. Recommend the pizza pie and cheeseburger pie very filling. Very friendly and 2 pies and a cake for $10. The donuts are so fresh. Wouldn't go anywhere else. Also my daughter's favourite.

Food was tasty and the service was good. Only criticism I have is that there weren't enough vegan options. There were some, but they were all sold out, which is fair enough. Really well priced though. I'll definitely be back.
