We loved stopping in here during our visit to Seattle so much that we ended up coming back a few times after initially trying it. First the service was excellent as they seem very efficient at helping customers in the busy market even during the weekend when I'm sure it's busier. The first visit we picked up a Cream Cheese Blueberry Cup and a Lemon Bismarck. After trying this nice and warmed up we found it to be very delicious and decided that if we were in the area that we would need to try out some other pastries that they offered. Upon our return we grabbed a Texas sized sugar donut which was enough for a couple of people and almost the size of my hand as shown in the picture....very good and very much reminded me of an elephant ear in many ways very light and airy goodness. The lemon crumb cake was also one we picked up to try out and it didn't disappoint either. Overall an awesome experience and I highly recommend stopping in here. You won't be disappointed!

This review is for the Texas Apple fritter only. What can I say this is the largest Apple Fritter (AF) I’ve seen to date. For some reason they had a special today and it was only $5! Probably just trying to clear inventory. This was purchased around 1145, so typically you aren’t getting the freshest donuts. Either way I’ve seen AF’s a quarter this size for over $2, so size and cost alone this would be an easy 5 stars. But size isn’t everything for a quality AF. I guess manufacturing a donut this massive creates some complications as it’s unevenly cooked with some sides burnt. Inside lacks the soft almost gooeyness with barely any chunks of apple making the taste somewhat bland. Overall it’s missing the quality and consistency throughout, to put this donut over the top.

NOT GOOD!!! BEWARE TOURIST TRAP! It's my boyfriend and I's first time in Seattle and when I saw the huge Cannoli's in the window I couldnt wait to try it but it was awful . We got a blueberry bar, a maple filled donut, a peanut butter cannoli, and an original cannoli. Both donuts were so bland and not good at all the dough had no flavor or glaze around it, only the frosting on the top had any taste at all. The Cannolis were both absolutely terrible did not taste like the usual ricotta cheese mixture, I have no idea what it was but it was gritty, overly sweet and a hard flavor to get out of your mouth even with taking only one small bite of each. I would not go there again if someone paid me. Don't recommend.

Many years ago, this bakery was top quality. Every time I have gone within the last year or so, the quality has been very disappointing. The apple fritters are burnt, the glaze on the donuts are so watered down that it's barely there, the cherry and apple turnovers barely have sugar in them; they taste bland. I know that most of their customers are probably touristst and they'll never come back, so the bakery must think they'll have an ongoing customer base whether they produce quality baked goods or not. I just wanted to let them know that I'm a local person and I've been so disappointed at what I spent my hard earned money on. They need to know that we notice that the quality has gone downhill.

We went here and had mixed reviews: 1 - we got the peanut butter cannoli, and it was amazing!! It was so delicious and creamy inside. A little on the sweet side, but so delicious. 2 - my husband got the big strawberry cup/cake thing. It looks scrumptious from the outside, but unfortunately was not as good as we thought. It was not fresh at all, and was kind of dry. Overall, it wasn't bad, but it was certainly not as good as we expected. Also, prices for these were a little on the higher side especially for the quality. About $6 for each. We would consider going back to try others, or at least just the cannoli!

We stopped by today and this place is always closed whenever we are at the market, but they were open today so we decided to try something. We were excited to see they were selling cannolis so be bought a couple of them. When we tried them we stopped eating them by the second bite. It was like eating a whole bag of confectioners sugar. We threw them away. I was disappointed because they looked so beautiful. Unfortunately the taste did not match and money wasted since they were six dollars a pop.

Great bakery experience. The Apple Fritters were phenomenal. We really enjoyed the cinnamon twist donuts as well. They have several flavors of cannoli's that looked fantastic and we could not possibly have eaten any more. They had some specials in one case that were buy one get one half off. We really enjoyed the almond cookies too.

Oooooh, this place is a little gross. The Market has a few tourist traps and I count this among them. The pastry cases have no climate control - everything is outside - so on a cold day you're going to get ice cold pastries, and the pastries get progressively nastier as the day winds on. They're never all that great to begin with - way too sweet and blunt - and they're ridiculously pricey to pay for the location, so I learned fast to give this bakery a pass. Leave it for the tourists!

If you want a fun gimmick, go to this bakery for the Texas donuts. It stays fresh as long as you keep it in a sealed container, but I can’t speak for the glazed types. I can only speak for the sugared one. Just a warning that their cannolis are super sweet, with the filling more like a cake fondant. I don’t recommend eating an entire one by yourself. I think their desserts/pastries are better off for sharing and not just for one person alone due to the size and sugar overload.

The blueberry buttermilk bar is one of the best doughnuts I have ever had and I always look for it when I’m in the market and able to stop by Pike Place Bakery. Problem is, they don’t always have it in stock, and when they do, the wait is often very long due to slow service behind the counter and no real organization in serving customers that are waiting to buy something. This place will always be special but I hope the service picks it up again.

Pike Place Bakery is my favorite place to go for doughnuts and other baked goods. I love the german chocolate doughnuts (twisted braids of fluffy dough topped with chocolate, almonds and coconut). Their HUGE, delicious Texas apple fritter can feed a dozen people. I also love the milk bars when they have them. They also have a huge collection of cookies and other pastries (napoleons, macarons, etc.). If you’re near Pike Place, then don’t miss out!

This was our first time at Pike's Place and stopped by as their items looked delicious. The owner was so friendly and wonderful, and helped our group make their selections on what they like. We got several of their brownies and cinnamon pull-a-part to go (unfortunately no photos cause we gobbled it down because it was SO delicious.) We will def stop by if we're ever back - we wished they shipped to other states!

Probably my favorite bakery in Seattle, however, don't trust their website for their hours of operation. Went to get Macaroons before I left town, assured by their website they were open, only to find from other vendors, that they are ALWAYS closed on Sundays. Update your website hours, so people don't ride 30 minutes each way on the light rail, only to be disgustingly disappointed when you're closed.

Fresh baked goods in Seattle’s most famous market! We had their cream cheese strawberry cups which were slightly dry but the filling was tasty and deliciously sweet. This place is a must if you find yourself perusing the market with a sweet tooth.

Omg, I'm sitting here in Tampa eating a piece of raisin cinnamon roll, cheese danish and day old (now 7 day old) lemon coffeecake from the Pike's Place bakery!!!!! There is a party going on in my mouth!!!!! I am a bakery snub and when I travel, I'm in the lookout..... Well this bakery is a 10 I will visit Seattle again.....Also love Pike's Place Market period.

Bought a cinnamon custard cup to go and enjoyed it at home since they cannot cut any of the pastries in store. The custard is a more runny texture than I thought, and it’s not sickly sweet which I actually prefer. I recommend heating it up at home a bit so the pastry can return to being soft and buttery :) it was $6 for this pastry.

This place is never ever open! They say on website says they open at 8am Wed-Sun. It’s Sat Dec 23rd @8:30am… and they are closed! The market is packed with shoppers 2 days before Christmas! & they choose not to open as stated!

The donuts at this bakery were just okay - not bad, but not amazing either. It's worth noting that the bakery has plenty of other delicious-looking options, so it may still be worth checking out. However, if you're specifically looking for a standout donut, this bakery might not be the best bet.

We are trying to eat healthy but we could not resist stopping for a few croissants. We got a chocolate and a butter croissant, and they were both amazing. They had a ton of options, and the staff was great at getting people's order quickly, and moving through the line.

They are my favorite bakery in Seattle! The cinnamon walnut pull apart and jalapeno cheddar loaf are my two 'go to' items. However, 23 years ago they were half the price! Stop by today to satisfy your sweet (or savory) tooth! …

Horrible experience, had some questions on the bakery product and the old lady wouldn't help. Ended up being the cookies and they were horrible. There's plenty of other places in the market that are worth going to. Skip this one.

Wanted to buy 2 dozen donuts, they supposedly open at 8am, at 8:15 I gave up and got bagels. Usually the donuts are pretty good, but if they don't want to sell them, I guess I won't be able to buy them.

Was good but now every time I walk past the main level it’s always closed during the day. I’ve looked up the hours and it always says open. If they moved they should post where they went.
