This Pizza Hut store is having some problems, one of the problems, I believe the larger portion of the customer base do not tip and if they do they are not tipping that well. I always take care of my driver, that is very important being that tipping is the bulk of their bread-and-butter as to how they financially survive on this particular job. I don't agree with in order to get better service you give a better tip you always give excellent service but the customer needs to understand that they should tip, if they were in that position they would want and need that income also. I placed an order online today and I certainly understand they are busy this particular store has a high turnover. I called because after placing the order it read that my delivery would not show up until 11:25 I placed the order at 7:36. The 1st two phone calls a young lady answered the phone placed me on hold no problem, they are busy when she come back she stated they were not taking orders at this time and simply hung up. I wasn't calling to place an order I was calling to find out about the time. The 3rd time a different staff member answered the phone and we worked everything out. What needs to happen when you are swapped like this is to answer the phone and make your statement but also ask the customer are you calling about an existing order you do not just hang up on an individual, there could have been some type of change or even an emergency. We need to clean up our customer service skills, customers need to be considerate of the drivers who are delivering their orders, giving your best in any situation goes a long way you never know whom your meeting or talking to that could be critical for you down the road, so the more under pressure if not in control a plethora of things could go wrong because you did not take time to avoid simple mistakes. There were a few staff members that I had more time with who did an excellent job, I don't know if they are still there or not but tonight I miss them.

I ordered pizza and wings for my granddaughters birthday.This was the worst. I ordered online between 230 and 245 said would be ready in 15 mins got there around 3 and they said would be another 10 mins for the wings. They gave us our pizza a few mins after 4pm. The ticket time stamp was 259pm. There was no wings and the manager left after yelling at a girl working there and basically firing her in front of customers and workers she said she had to go to another store. They didnt even have the wings and the person working said didnt know how to give a refund. The pizza was cold not cut the pasta and bread sticks were not fully cooked. This party was ruined. Called customer service and they had the manager of the area call me. He called me on Monday the third I explained to him what we went through and he asked if he could call me back the next day after he has a chance to speak with his team members. That is reasonable and I had no issue with that however he has never called me back. I called him back on the 10th that evening and left a voicemail for him to return my call and he has not done so. I would not recommend ordering from pizza hut from any where in the area. They are not honest cannot even apologize for wait or acknowledge and it appears that the upper management leads by example. I still have not gotten a refund for the wings that I did not receive. Please do not order from Pizza Hut you will be disappointed.... Wow the email add on their response wecare the domain doesnt exist. I guess they really care and want to make this right???

Ordered online for delivery, only to find that they outsourced the delivery to DoorDash, and the DoorDash driver texted me to tell me "The place is closed because 'something happened to the manager'". I had to contact Pizza Hut to find out what happened at this location and found out that the manager had just walked out and there were no employees. That's right! The store was simply left open to the public with NO EMPLOYEES IN IT WHATSOEVER INSIDE THE STORE. They sent someone to close and cancel out all the orders and they didn't even bother to call anyone to tell them that they weren't going to get their food; nor did we get any messages via e-mail, or text message from Pizza Hut with any information -- thank goodness the DoorDash guy had the decency to tell me or else I would have gone starving tonight waiting for a pizza that was never going to come! You can blame this location all you want but blame also needs to go on Pizza Hut as a company for sending someone to tie up their lose ends "but to heck with the customers. We'll just leave them wondering what happened." If this is the way the store has been treating everyone, it's no wonder the manager walked out the front door when he or she found out that he had nobody to help him or her do the job. I don't blame him/her one bit for walking out on Pizza Hut for the way they treated both him/her and his/her customers. If there were negative stars, I'd give you at least three of them.

My name is Deidra Wright and I did write a review on the Pizza Hut on Milton Road in Charlotte NC on Tuesday June 21st, 2022 at 8:05 and now I don't see the review I wrote. And reading the response to other reviews all you say is sorry and send me your email, name and phone number and you will make it right. Well that's what I'm doing before you even tell me. I called this Pizza Hut at 5:27 6/21/22 on Milton Road and placed a $44.03 order. Okay they took my money and I waited until 8 o'clock and no pizza then I called the store and it's said closed. I never received the pizza. Money is entirely to hard to come by and they do this. I want a refund and I don't want to have to wait 7 days to get it. The store didn't wait 7 days. I need my money I ended up ordering from somewhere else so that made double money spent. I keep trying to give this store a chance but I will NEVER ever order from this location as long as I live. I need something done about this. This store location needs to shut down. I need to hear from someone and I'm not talking a month from now. You say you want to make it right then make it right. People will hurt over their money. Please you don't want know one to take money from you. Make it right. I will call the store as soon as it opens because this isn't right. And if you think I'm lying this is my order number. Make it right! Don't take my post down! I posted this post the day of and someone took it down.

Every once in a while I attempt to order here to see if this location has gotten any better because it's the only one that can deliver to me. Every time, I am disappointed. It's sad because I prefer Pizza Hut over other options around here. I've had my pizza literally just not show up ever after calling 3 times and being assured that it's on the way. I've had the pizza flat out taste gross. When the pizza doesn't have something wrong with it, it's usually late and room temperature by the time I get it. This last time, they called me 30 minutes after I ordered online to say there was no delivery driver. I order pizza about once a week because my kids love it, but usually go with other options because of my experiences with this location. They are in desperate need of new management who can hire more reliable employees. Just look at the reviews here on Google. The amount of 1 star reviews speaks for itself. Here's another one to add to the pile. Edit over a year later: Leaving one star. Have tried to order twice more from this location since I made the original review. Both times I was told they don't have a driver and have to cancel my order. Obviously, they do not have their act together yet. It's almost like corporate has totally given up on this location.

This by far is the worst Pizza Hut in Charlotte. The first time we ordered from this Pizza Hut we waited 2 hours and 30 minutes before calling and cancelling the order. They gave us a refund yet the pizza still arrived a hour after that. We tried it again this time same thing two hours and 15 minutes later we were still waiting on our pizza so we called and canceled. They once again refunded our money and the pizza still arrived about 45 minutes after we cancel. After that I vowed to never order pizza from this particular location again but after receiving a email from corporate giving us a free pizza for the inconvenience I thought to myself the third time has to be a charm. Yeah Right!!! This time our pizza came in a timely manner but after getting the pizza in the house and opening up the box it was not even close to what we had ordered not our Pizza. So I called and they said we will send you out the currect pizza. So basically we still are waiting two plus hours. To top it all off the employees and the managers are unprofessional. Never got a apology or nothing. We will never order from this location again.

I usually order at the this Milton Road location with no problems but today September 20,2022 I ordered online a delivery order that was supposed to arrive at my home at 5:55pm I waited until 6:15pm and called to inquire why it had not arrived yet. I was left on hold for about 15 minutes while on hold I drove down to the location. While pulling into the parking lot a female answered and said your pizza is on the way. I asked what my name was and she put me back on hold. I went inside and spoke with Eunice the manager. She said i spoke with her on the phone then she said someone took the pizza. I politely asked for my money back she.put it back on my card and when I asked when it will be back on my card she said 3 to 5 business days. I have worked for a bank they have full control over putting your money back on your card. I wouldn't have had an issue if she would have just been honest and said we messed up your order can we remake it for you. I will definitely not be coming back to this establishment ever again. It's the bad customer service for me!

ordered online for curbside. clicked the button in the email that i was here for pickup. after 20mins waiting, i call them to let them know I was waiting....the woman thats answers the phone asked if i was here and just hangs up the phone. i walk in very upset, the manager asks if he could help me. i stated that i was just hung up on. Before i could finish why I was in there, the woman interrupted, stating that she told me she was on the way...which she was getting my order but did NOT say that on the phone. The manager and i have a stare-off. No apologies from either of them or the other employee slouching, playing with her fingernails, on the seat near the cash register. I have not visited this location in 10 years because the employees were arguing with the manager at that time watching ....itll be another 10 before i give them any of my money…go to Dominoes, papa johns, Teddys, or another pizza hut location. The owners of this location (if franchised) should truly be ashamed. I doubt they visit or "shop" this location.

Ordered pizza tonight at 5:17 pm with a delivery time of 6:30. Fast forward to 7:20 still no pizza. I called the store and they stated that my order was out for delivery. At 7:45 I got a text stating my order was out for delivery, but at 8:20 still pizza. I called the store again to cancel my order since it was almost two hours late and the store agreed to do so. Next thing I know I get a call from the store stating that my delivery order was too low and was cancelled hours ago but they never called me. My total was for 14.40 and I ordered from them back on 3/21 will a bill of 12.50 but they ordered that delivery even though they only brought half of the order. I guess this store won't deliver to you if you use coupons on your order. I will never order from pizza hut again and it's too bad for them because papa john's or domonios doesn't deliver to my area and that's why they were getting my business in the first place. I plan on contacting the manager and the corporate offices tomorrow. To bad I cant give them ZERO stars!

After placing an order at 5:52 and giving my telephone number I waited for the delivery. At 6:35 I called to verify that my order was still coming. I verified my phone number and was told “The driver just left”. At 7:23 I called back and verified my information again and was told “it should be delivered”. At 7:28 I received a call from my wife who was not at home stating she had a voicemail from the driver saying “I can’t get into the park”. We don’t live in a gated community. I asked her for the number and called the driver who stated she was gone and wouldn’t return. After calling the restaurant the person told me that “the driver knocked on your door and nobody answered I was told that the driver called the number on the receipt. My phone was never called and I never gave her number at all. The customer service at this restaurant is the lowest I’ve ever seen. Not only will I never order from this restaurant again but I will never order from any Pizza Hut again.

Ordered pizza at 7:11 pm and it is now 9:48 pm and order has not arrived. I have been on hold for over an hour, and when employee answered I requested to speak to a manager. I heard a female yelling in the back and refused to come to the phone; stated that "I had to wait". Well, I am still waiting an hour later. I finally called from my house number and it took forever for them to pick up the phone once again, and when someone answered I was told there was no order in the system for my number; then 30 minutes later I was told doordash took my order and I have to contact them because pizza hut did not have any delivery drivers. The General Manager refused to give her first name she was extremely unprofessional and rude, and I was the one inconvenienced. I will be following up with corporate office tomorrow. Do NOT ORDER FROM THIS PIZZA HUT!!!

I placed an online order at 7:56 PM. I had not realized how much time had passed because I was studying. When I realized that 2 and a half hours had passed. I never received my order! When I called, it was 10:30 The person that answered the phone told me hold on. They had me on hold for 20 minutes so I hung up and called back but they no longer answered the phone but the auto-mated messages prompt you to hold "someone will be with you shortly. Then after 5 minutes of holding the message came on that said WE ARE NOW CLOSED. I hung up and called back and I got the same message of WE ARE NOW CLOSED. This I never expected. My son was hungry, depending on our $38.36 purchase to be delivered and they gave not a slight care in the world. I never received my order. This is unacceptable! THEY ARE ALL DISHONEST, THIEF'S, LIARS and RUDE.

Trust the reviews and DO NOT order from this pizza hut! I ordered a single pizza Saturday night. The website said delivery would be in 61-71 minutes. The pizza was out for delivery 46 minute after ordering it and after about 2 hours of waiting I decieded to call the store. I waited 45 minutes for someone to pick up, no one ever did. 3 hours and 40 minutes after I placed my order, it finally arrived! at 10 PM after ordering at 6:20PM. The pizza was unsurprisingly cold, I had already made and finished dinner after being on hold for 45 minutes without anyone answering the phone. DO NOT order from this location, this will happen to you like it has happened to so many others. I just wish I checked the reviews on here prior to ordering on the pizza hut website. Sincerely, Never eating at pizza hut again.

2022 and this store is still having to use Doordash..this has been a problem for years at this location. and they’re using doordash when you order through their website! their customer service is so bad no one wants to work there and be a delivery driver but i can’t blame them. They don’t pick up the phone ever but atleast they’ve resorted to doordash because they used to just literally NOT COME..not call and tell you there’s no drivers or if they would they’ll expect you to come get it as if you didn’t order delivery for a reason. If you’re gonna take the risk of ordering here do it with cash ready or there’s a literal chance of you either not seeing that money again or waiting about 7 days for it to be put back into your bank.ordered the detroit pizza and got a regular pepperoni

Dont waste your money. They randomly close and even when its 12pm they will accept your order but never prepare it or deliver it and then you get to wait 7 to days for the bank refund it if the store wont but you wont be able to call bc they are closed. They also ALWAYS forget to deliver the drinks and will blame doordash. Even doordash shows them as open today but they are closed. This store is the worst of them all. If u do order Id use doordash or ubereats so you can at least get your refund quicker. Updated: 02/27/2023 - Order via doordasg at 1pm.... 2pm dasher advises store is literally closed on a weekend.... Not the first time this has happened..... Store owner should be ashamed of his store and staff

This store has the worst service ever and if I can find the corporate office information I will definitely file an official complaint. The wait time is bad enough but when the person in the store hangs up on you after telling you several times she’s the only person in the store after you only asked for an eta on your order that’s already an hour late. I do understand everywhere is understaffed but I had an issue 2 weeks prior with food going to the wrong address and this attitude she had today I will never order here again. Please do yourself a favor and cook or order elsewhere it’s sad when you can’t treat a daycare of kids with surprise pizza due to people being rude and dismissive.

If I could give zero stars I would.... I ordered 2 pizzas around 11AM on 9/27/2022 and got a notification around 12PM saying that my order was delivered, after sitting on hold after 30 mins inquiry about my pizzas I went to the store only to find out there was only 1 employee and the store was closed. The employee refused to help me or refund our money so we end up going to a different location and reordering our pizzas. Now it is 6 pm I receive a phone call from Eunice asking if I still wanted my pizzas with no apologies or explanation of what happened. This is the worst customer service I have ever received and worst service ever. Pizza Hut please do better !

I ordered one large pizza half cheese half pepperoni and some wings my order was not correct I called the store to speak to a manager and explained to her that they brought me the wrong food she asked me if I could come in and get correct food told her no that’s why I did delivery she said she can give me a credit for my food no that will not work Neither I would like my money back she told me I would have to come in for that I asked her why I just want my money back refund me back to the card I used and she hung up on me I am very very upset I would like my money back never ordering from them ever again so unprofessional! Wish I could give them 0 stars

This store deserves no stars This has been the worse experience ever!!! I ordered at 5pm the site should it would be a 45-56 min wait. I notice it was approaching 6:45 I decided to call. I was in the automated queue for an hour. My husband decide to drive up there at 8pm. He FaceTimes me and says babe you won’t believe this the entire store is closed no lights on no cars in the parking lot it’s like a ghost town. So not only did we wait 3 hours but we never got our food and they took my money off my card. I can never get a hold of anyone at the store ever. This business needs new management or needs to be shut down. This has happen to many times

Awful service and wait time. I've waited over an hour the first time visiting my relatives. Being a small business owner, I tried to allow them to right their wrong. Second time ordering online while visiting a relative and it took another hour. Cashier, who I later learn is the manager, kept telling me it's a 10 minute wait, then 7 minute wait, another 7 minute wait. Then, someone came and said I have 3 orders in front of me. This place lacks leadership. They wait time is entirely too long and they show little or no care besides sorry for the wait. I highly do not recommend this business.

So I ordered food with this company yesterday from a location around the corner from where I live and from what I could concur the staff is very nice there was a lovely young manager in the beginning when I began my transaction she was just very wonderful and assertive They only downside however is that I do not like that they only compensate the managers $13 an hour 8 or 9 hours on the clock I really feel like you all need to at least raise it up to 16 give or take the distance of the person give or take part-time or full-time! ️❣️️

Wow. Ghetto. I don’t even know where to begin. Some of the workers seems to be in good spirits and laughing some of the mishaps off but to hear how the store is under staffed and having trouble staying afloat was just ghetto. The lady was up there cursing and complaining about the store owner not coming in. I ordered curb side and they told me i needed to come in. When i came in my food wasn’t ready and they were so understaffed it’s not even funny. Just close down. The worker did finally bring my order out and was nice despite the circumstances which is why it got 2 stars

Worse place to order from . I placed an order 3 hours ago and have not recieved it yet. This is the second time this has happened to me . I tried calling and they just leave me on hold . I would recommend for anyone to order from dominos on The Plaza . They are very quick and efficient. And they have a much better customer service. I called corporate to place a complaint and see if I could have something resolved. They were just as unhelpful. They said I’d be issued a refund and asked if I had anymore questions, then hung up on me mid sentence. What a disappointment.

if i can have it a zero stars i would, this PH is a joke, Service, Customer attention, Phone response, are bad. you walk in to pickup your order no one even notice you unless you get their attention. it has been multipool times i go to pickup my order and it hasn't even been done. i would need to wait either 30 to 1 hr. for my order to be done and once again if I'm able to get their attention. i will just make it short this Pizza Hut needs to be shut down or under a new manager that really would like to have customers, not a hang out spot.

Horrible service!!! Missing item from my order for an office event. When I initially got through to the store to rectify I got hung up on while being placed on hold. I called back and got reconnected to the store with no apology for the hang-up, and the expectation that I drive to pick up the item because Door Dash sent the order to the wrong location. The individual at the location was defensive when I mentioned the hang-up. Oh, and the pizza order was wrong. The veggie pizza was supposed to be thin crust and wasn’t. smh

I made 2 visits to Pizza Hut recently, one was in the dining room and the second was delivery. The dining-in experience was fine and the pizza was as I expected. The delivery (it was a Saturday) took around 2 1/2 hours (I watched one TV episode and a full movie while waiting). The ingredients on the delivery were not of the same quality as the dine-in visit. I doubt I will be opting for delivery in the future. We ended up tossing about a third of the Pizza as it did not taste very good.

Call the customer if an item is no longer in stock instead of just replacing it with whatever you see fit, unacceptable. Delivery driver had a horrible and dismissive attitude and I would like to request a refund of the $6.83 tip I left the driver on my credit card. I tried to contact the store directly 3 times and waited on hold for a manager for 13 minutes and finally gave up. I love Pizza Hut and have ordered for MANY years but I will NEVER order at this location again.

Pizza Hut has consistently held the top spot as my all-time favorite pizza joint. Their signature pies have a unique flavor that's hard to find elsewhere. The crust is always just right, and the toppings are generously piled on. The dining experience is consistently delightful. The friendly staff and cozy atmosphere add to the overall appeal. I have yet to find another pizza place that can hold a candle to Pizza Hut. It truly stands in a league of its own.

ordered over the phone and paid $64. I went to pick up my stuff and this location was locked up. Employees were there inside but the doors were locked. there was about 3 other people waiting as well. I tried calling and nobody answered. So I decided to call the number I ordered from to cancel and send my money back they said they could not and I had to call another number. Called that number and said I will receive a email or call in 3 to 5 business' days.

Placed and order 1 hour ago only to call back and the girl who answered said that the pizza should be arriving. And when I asked her what my order was she said 2 mediums. I asked her what happened to my daughters personal pepperoni and she said that was never ordered then she rudely hung up on me. I keep trying to give this location a chance because I love Pizza Hut. But after this I just cant. I have called the location 2 times and have been left holding for someone or 20 minutes. I ordered at 12 pm and it is now 4 pm and I am not able to locate the pizza I ordered for my kids. HORRIBLE SERVICE! The last time before this my order was on time but the pizza had hardly any sauce on it. OVER IT.... TO MAKE IT WORSE I JUST GOT DISCONNECT AGAIN

It’s a Sunday night with 3 customers for carry out. One employee making pizza and cashing out. It’s 30 minutes past the time the tracker said the pizza was ready....and I am still waiting in the lobby alongside the other two. I’m pretty sure my order is done but the employee who’s hustling in the back is too busy to check on anything else. I would be upset but I feel bad for the employee who actually looks like he’s trying.

I placed an order that was accepted and got as far as being prepared on the tracker and was then notified 45 minutes after I placed the order that Pizza Hut is “unfortunately closed” during their regularly scheduled hours. Apparently I should expect a refund in 3-5 days. No explanation as to why or an apology that I waited 45 minutes before being informed. Lousy experience even when my pizza is actually delivered.

I placed a order at 8:02 for delivery and my order never came. Tracking my order it just showed 47-57 min delivery time and when I called the store to see where my pizza was about 2 hours later; the store was closed. Didn't get a call, txt, email or anything that it wasn't going to be delivered. This pizza hut is so unprofessional. I'm not the first this has happened to but they will no longer get my service

They haven’t had an actual delivery driver for the store in forever. My third time trying to place an order since mid-early LAST YEAR and my orders keep getting cancelled. They’re only offering Doordash drivers (who accept card only) which i guess is an upgrade from when they simply didn’t have no one at all and would just cancel your order unless you came and picked it up yourself.

Pizza claimed it was in the oven for like an hour in the tracker, and when a half hour late for arriving the store is completely unreachable. Been on hold forever when the pizza is late, driving to the store seems to be the only option. The hold message says they're hiring for every position as if literally no one works there at all. They should just close this location entirely instead.

Doesn’t even deserve one star. Ordered one large pizza at 8pm. I called at 9:30pm and they said the delivery driver was 5 minutes from coming back to deliver my pizza. No one greeted me at the counter when I arrived. My pizza had no middle bottom crust as if it stuck to the pan and instead of making another one, they served something that should have been thrown out. Just pretend they don’t exist. Ordered 8pm, notified to have delivery at 9. 9 came and went, at 9:30 no sign, and no one answers at store. They close at 10. If you call at 10, you can’t speak to anyone. At 11 still no sign of food. Big party for my kid destroyed. Thanks. I assume I will have to run a chargeback too?

This place needs to be shut down the employees close the store before closing I placed a order before closing and when I pull up all I see is the employees turning off the lights and running to their cars besides one waiting on an Uber.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. The manager was rude. There was no contact about a no delivery. After 2 hours and a trip to pick up my order I have no pizza and will never order from this pizza hut ever again. The manager should be fired I feel sorry for his staff or lack there of.

I was disappointed with the quality and preparation of my order. I ordered 2 pizzas, one Veggie Lovers with 1/2 pineapple (pineapple was on entire pizza) and one cheese. Sauce was sloppy and uneven. There were large globs in areas that made both pizzas messy.
