This was my second time here in 10 years, the first time the customer service was bad but the slice of pizza was okay. I have been driving past this place every since. Tonight I was hungry and going past again, I thought I would give them another try, it's been a long time what the heck! I purchased the 5 hot wings, 2 slices of cheese pizza and ravioli. I figured I would taste what I like to see what I would purchase in the future. The pizza looked like it had been there for a while, I asked the cashier how long and she said she didn't know but it was cheese so I got it. The pizza tasted like cardboard, the hot wings were over cooked and dried out the ravioli which I asked the girl what was on the inside, told me nothing was on the inside it was just pasta. I knew that wasn't correct, but that you could have mozzarella baked on top so I said okay but I didn't want any meat. There was 5 ravioli with ricotta inside that looked to be just thrown in the sauce, there wasn't any mozzarella baked on top. It all looked like garbage, I paid about 20 hard earned dollars for some garbage because that's were it all went. I didn't have to stop and give Pizza Nova my money. I could have gone anywhere, at least, provide me with the fresh edible appetizing product you claim to sell and I believe to be purchasing. Why do I have to find out when I get home, and you are now closed, that I gave you good money for a product that wasn't any good. This is how I personally feel, good, bad, or indifferent treat people the way you want to be treated, don't SELL me something you wouldn't eat yourself, I'm not asking you for anything for free, I am paying you. Black and Brown people need to realize we are the same people and stop hating, mistreating and taking advantage of one another. I wont be returning.

Good service actually very good service they run a tight business they watch their money and do not give up styrofoam containers. The gentleman I dealt with today at the register app I'm walking up to the counter was very professional and pretty much knew what I wanted it could kind of read into what I was saying I stated that I was there earlier this week and it was a pretty good actually a really good chicken parm sandwich Deluxe so I ordered it again and couldn't finish it God that's a lot of sandwich for the money definitely a decent amount with the fries and all. I told them exactly how I wanted my fries cooked and they did exactly what I wanted nobody has ever been able to achieve this at any restaurant I've gone to so my hat's off to them the only downfall is it's a little bit of a drive where I have to come from a friend of mine by the name he does not want to be disclosed at this time turned me on to this place and not to mention two of the girls are really cute who work there and the owner was quite friendly and made conversation I felt comfortable being there would go back again there but the drive is a little far keep up the good work guys

This place is great!!! They have just about anything that you can think of. When it comes to food, this is the place. They have pizza, tacos, wings, hot dogs, broasted chicken, salads, beefs, ribs, rib tips, gyros well you get the point. They also sell to food trucks, schools, and can cater any size party at your request, so next time you have a party, just give them a call. I just can't believe how extensive their menu is for such a small place. The food is awesome, fast service, friendly staff and very reasonable prices for the food portions and quality that you get.

This was the first time patronizing this establishment. I may never visit this place again although I wanted to see what their pizza is about. I took a chance and ordered catfish. It wasn't that bad but it did have a funny smell, and I wasn't impressed. They do give you a lot of french fries with your meal. The mozzarella sticks were typical of what you'd expect from any restaurant. I however was mor disappointed with the nasty condiment packs they gave me. It really has me reluctant to eat the food. They should be ashamed to serve something like that. It was just something that spilled on them while in the bag. This was dry caked on nastiness due to the fact these were probably really old. Its messed up I couldn't go back to get clean packs it's even more sad that it was an issue to begin with. Really makes me question the sanitary measures they employ to keep this place functioning. I know times are different now but presentation is everything especially dealing with food type consumables.

Called this pizza place by accident trying to call Freddies Pizza because I had a credit with them, not realizing which place I had called. in which I was told the pizza would be out within the hour.. they got here sooner. When the driver got here I sent my fiancé down he's under the impression I called Freddies tells the driver we had a credit so he calls the store to verify. My fiancé tells me to bring him down the money I did. The driver gets rude with my fiancé and yells " Hurry up I have other orders!" My security guard shocked looks at the driver. I called the store to speak with the manager and he was VERY RUDE! Tells me that " Oh, you guys were playing with him" that's not professional when I paid for the pizza even after the mix up. The manager then says " Are you canceling the order or what? How may I help you?!" I told him I sent it back he said well what's the problem?"

Absolutely will never go to this place again!! 4 p.m I called in an order for a large pizza one day so My girl and I goes to pick up the pizza and got back home to start eating the pizza when after about 3 slices i started pulling long strands of hair out of my mouth that was cooking into the pizza!!!!! Needless to say, I was pissed! So I wrap up the remaining portion and head back to the store to get a refund and the guy (not sure if he's the owner or the manager) tells me I want a refund cause my girlfriend probably put her hair in it. I was like," really mf!?". Clearly the female cook has the exact hair that's in the pizza and cooking with no hair net and my girlfriend has short hair with a her hair wrapped in a scarf! Finally after going back and forth with the guy over my measly 13$, I walked out and never returned and never will!

It's a convenient location for the current neighborhood I'm in....I don't recommend the "Philly Cheese steak" it should be called frozen lunch meat that's been reheated. You're not going to find any "steak" & the fries are just ok. I got chicken wings today since as I stated it's convenient & I was in a rush & hungry & was disappointed again. They were mediocre & it doesn't come with fries so I paid over $9 for a 6 piece & small fries. I can't remember what I got the first time I came with my daughter but it wasn't bad because I thought it was worth another visit. Not anymore. Two strikes is enough for me I'll walk. Everytime I've gone I wanted to try the pizza by the slice but it's always either empty or it looks like it's been sitting in there forever. The service has been good though they're friendly at least.

Weird I had posted a review when they first opened up about their terrible service and being disrespected because when placing an order I placed it on my last name and the person taking the order criticized me for it being "Hispanic" I immediately cancelled the order and hung up. I will not tolerate this I recently saw the owner responded, clearly you didn't know the situation because I never went inside. I never was rude back. Don't justify a situation without knowing the back story. Terrible establishment, clearly! I'm glad I didn't witness this in person and since that day I never bothered to give it another try so I'll save people from even getting their first bad experience whether it's through the phone or in person, DONT waste your time and money on this establishment.

So I only have been here twice, first time was okay, second time I was given an attitude. Dealt with two people, the cashier was nice and then the person getting me my slices became rude. What did I do? Ask for the 3 slices of cheese pizza that where the biggest, they were even next to each other. The lady grunted and gave me the smallest slices. Seriously? Then they have this huge policy where they will reject any customers, so I took my pizza and left before they decided to just take my money. The entire time I was nice and polite. When I asked if they had a plastic bag, that lady said no very aggressively. Seriously? Very rude. Places like this won't make anyone want to move to Canaryville or want their pizza. It just makes me upset.

I literally just ordered from them and when the driver called and told me he was outside and when my man went to the door to tell the driver the front door gate is locked he will go through the back and come to the front the driver than flew into the car and drove off . I then called pizza nova back and they had a very rude and unconsiderate receptionist. Very very disappointed and disappointed. I ordered an Italian beef with extra American cheese. My Italian beef was over salty the meat was Bland and the juice from my Italian beef was way too salty also my fries or seriously overcooked. I have waited over 8 months hoping that there would change their cook but it seems you can't teach old dogs and tricks. My fiance ordered a chicken salad which was off the chicken that they serve with the salad was super thin and dried out. I definitely will never ever in my life order from them again damn shame for a local restaurant to be so poor. Good luck to you and your adventures eating from their menu.

Placed an order for a school group and only received a partial order. It was a disaster. Kids missed lunch because they expected pizza. I had to have order corrected and re sent. My group looked incompetent when infact it was pizza nova. At least twice a yr. We buy $900 or more worth of pizza. I promise we will look for a new supplier. Not only that they were unwilling to work a deal on a huge order. Amd the lady who took my huge order was snippy with me. Had I had time I would of found another vender. I was honestly trying to find a way to give it 0 stars because the experience was just that terrible. Went to this establishment about 3 days ago with a coworker for lunch and was met with an extremely rude order taker who threw my pizza across the counter while saying "here". She also informed us that their pop machine was currently down so we asked could we get one of the drinks inside the cooler in front of us and she hollered "no compensation its not our problem". So I always order from here and today I order an XLarge pizza just cheese and when I pick up the pizza, I brought it home my son ate some and we realized it had pepperoni. I called and they said that they would make a new pizza but to bring the one we had. I had never in my life had to return food that was opened and touched. The lady in the front was rude and very unprofessional she said it was on the receipt to return the food for exchange of food, It was an order that they messed up. I ordered a double cheeseburger today May 30, 2020, it's ready pretty quick didn't think nothing of it until I get it home and take a couple of bites and look down at it and it's pink in the inside, half done and raw pink, I took it back and told them I want my money back, since I used my debit card I couldn't get a refund only an exchange or they would cook me something else, I declined and told them to give me some sodas to equal the difference of the double cheeseburger and fries, I'm a black man who likes his meat well done, I'm not a damn animal who eats raw meat

Pizza Nova Express catered our company Holiday Party and exceeded all of our expectations! For $10 per person, we had broasted chicken, Italian beefs, pasta, pizza, and salad - all of which were seriously delicious. We had plenty of food for each party-goer and even had leftovers. They were very helpful and respectful during the planning process and the day of the event. The manager followed up the day after the party to ensure everything went well, which I felt was very professional. We will definitely be back when we need catering services in the future!

Pizza nova is usually good but they have terrible customer service. I was told my pizza would be delivered within the hour however I waited one hour and 45 minutes. I asked the driver if my pizza was cold and he said it wasn’t. When I got upstairs and touched the pizza it was cold so I called in and complained. They told me they could exchange the pizza but they would need the full pizza back. So I refused because I wasn’t about to wait another two hours for another cold pizza. That is totally outrageous and they will never get my business again

Ordered pizzas a day before for a classroom Christmas party. Called again an hour before delivery time to confirm and pay. Paid. Pizzas didn't show on time, I called. They couldn't guarantee my pizzas would arrive before the end of the school day. They were rude on the phone and wouldn't let me talk to who was in charge. The woman on the phone called me baby. My students didn't have lunch because I told them there would be pizza to eat. I had to call Jimmy John's to feed them instead. Awful experience. Never will order from pizza nova again.

I just left the store and paid over $50 just for my food. I left home cause I was starving and this is my fav pizza place ! Sadly , I came home and found half my order was missing :( . Never ordering from here again. I hope whoever orders here, they get your order right and hope they don’t rob you I went back to the store for them to tell me it was a mistake and I can’t get my money back nor can I get any compensation for their mistake. How do you say the pizza on the phone cost 11.95 before 3 pm for the special and I called before 3. The girl on the phone told me it will be 14.95 with tax included then your driver said it’s $17 bucks and he doesn’t have change? This isn’t my first time ordering. I thought I would give this place a second chance, 2 years later, but it won’t change. Don’t order from here. Every review about rude customer service and how each individual is being ripped off is true. Save your time, your money and your stomach from disappointment.

Woman on the phone sounded like she hated life and was super short with me. Ordered 2 extra large regular crust pizzas (they don't have thin crust) one cheese and pepperoni the other ham green pepper and onion, came out to nearly 60 bucks! Pizza got here quickly: we don't live too far. The crust was like pan and tasteless, barely any sauce or cheese and the ham was teeny tiny cubes. The sauce and cheese didn't reach the ends of crust! Definitely not worth the $60. If I wasn't starved, I would've called and got a refund.

Just got my food my bf went to get picked up. Their customer service needs to be more better... i ordered 2 slices of sausage.. and a cup of soup. I asked the girl what was the soup and she said cream of chicken which is why i got it. Well at home there’s only one slice of pizza and a cup of cream of broccoli soup. I give them three stars because when you order food to be delivered they will not make your order correctly I highly recommend if you are getting anything from this place , place your order inside instead of calling for delivery. Inside order is simply better for this place. I order hot wings which I have had from this place before when my order was delivered I looked in the bag and had something totally different from what I ask for , Love their pizza and wings but won't recommend delivery orders from them.

So i asked y because online says 10am and i ususally order that early anyways but he was so rude. He hung up the phone on me even when i asked for the manager. I usually order from Pizza Nova on 18th, but I didn’t have cash today and their credit card system wasn’t working tonight, so I ordered from this pizza. The delivery took nearly 2 hours; all of the food was cold by the time he arrived. The rib tips are dry and lack flavor, the chicken is dry and seems like it’s old; Pizza and fry’s so cold. I’m extremely disappointed and will never order from this location again. I would suggest the same for anyone who is considering on ordering from here.

Excellent Customer Service Hector on the phone was very helpful and reminded us about the specials today. He was also very patient with our order. When i arrived to pick up my order i was greeted with “Hello welcome” by hector. My family ate a hot slice today. Shout out to the cooks there working hard and making sure our food is hot. The prices are affordable for a quick lunch on the go. I ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza, hotdog and two steak tacos. The pizza was ok, it was very greasy and I’ve had better pizza by the slice in Chicago. My kids enjoyed their food so I’ve changed the rating from two to three stars. I wasn’t a fan of the pizza but they have plenty of other options or maybe things were just off that day, it was my first visit to the resturant.

This place called pizza Nova has gotten worst than I thought over the years. The pizza is horrible now, undercooked with hardly any pizza sauce on the pizzas. My mom ordered a ground beef burrito. The cook here put beef Texas hash inside the burrito as if we couldn't tell the difference that was bogus on so many levels I couldn't believe it this place needs a full remake from the food to the staff, as well as the cooks .

Tonight I had the worst customer service. My family loves the food but tonight when my deliver hadn't arrived after 1 hour and 45 minutes I called. The person told me I missed a call. I have no record in my call long. He refused to listen. I can screenshot him the 3 calls placed by me! I tip my drivers all the time....but I'm going to take my business elsewhere. Didn't appreciate the way I was spoken to.

Wasted my time. Called for delivery took long to get here and when it did had to show my card and then said they couldn't take my card even after I had already paid and it showed that I had paid already. Was forced to give the pizza back and I had to drive all the way over there just so I had to pay cash and then handed me a cold pizza. Carmen was her name rude service. Will not be coming back.

The customer service is horrible, I would go regularly as it is close to where I work, the more I went the worse they treated me. I have received under cooked chicken and gyro on separate occasions, yet they refused to refund me. Finally had enough- the last time I went in the place smelled of vomit. Convenience is not worth possible salmonella and blatant disrespect.

I have always enjoyed stopping here but sadly my visit on December 26th was a huge disappointment. The crusts of the pizzas I bought we're hard and crumbly, the order taker and cashier we're rude and indifferent. I bought 4 people with me on this night and spent a pretty penny that I wish I had spent elsewhere, I will be hesitant to choose this place in the future.

I ordered the pizza, steak philly, and Italian beef. OMG, pizza and beef items were very good and price was reasonable. Steak was for someone else. Quality was great, and they had ground beef toppings, which was a plus, because I'm not a pork eater. Although the pizza needed some seasoning, nonetheless, I would definitely return to this location for fast food!

Worst food ever. The gyros suck, the hotdogs are either cold or the buns are hard as a rock. The pizza is just plain out gross. Delivery times are horrible. They say it will be there within an hour and it takes almost an hour and a half to 2 hours. I will never recommend them to anyone. I won't even give their food to my neighbors dog which I can't stand.

Stopped in to order dinner ,we got multiple selections : 1/2 barbecue ribs and 1/2 barbecue chicken, two Italian beef and sausage combs, boasted chicken. All selections were hot and tasty. The clerk was very helpful and polite. The food was good. I will visit this place again.

Lately its been bad customer service the girl on the phone doesn’t know what a quarter of a pizza or 3/4 of a pizza is. She doesn’t have phone etiquette. Pizza comes cold not even in the bag that keeps the food warm. I asked the guy if they still kept pizza warm in the bag he yeah but took pizza out of the bag in his car so now my pizza is cold.

Tried paying over the phone with a credit card. Was oddly told that my card will need to be imprinted upon arrival. Seems like an outdated practice and the reason wasn't communicated to me. I felt especially uncomfortable after the driver stared at my numbers intensely after. Is this a normal practice and I am just getting in my head?

I should’ve sued this place for messing my order up. I am allergic to meat and was appalled on to how incompetent these idiots are!! If there was an option to shut this supposedly pizza place I would. I would like to add that the service was atrocious and the place was disgusting.

I got my food delivered and the delivery guy wouldn’t get out the car. I called Pizza Nova and they sat on the phone with me and lied to my face saying they delivery guy got robbed on 12/30 on 44 Dearborn...Yet I’m the one he drivered to. He never got robbed on 12/30 when delivering food to me. He got the money and left.

Tonight was not a good day. I ordered three slices of deep dish pizza to go and waited over an half hour for it but they forgot about me and gave my slices to someone else. So I had to wait another 20 minutes. I am 6'8" about 275 lbs. How do you forget me?

The manager and staff, have bad customer service, comes from the lady manager at Night Shift. They just look at you and do not greet you. Then they try to charge for cups if you get the xl for dine in with a free 2 liter . Like they should provide them.

My experience at this restaurant lasted for about 15 seconds. I went in, asked if they had meatballs, and the big guy behind the counter smirked at me and said "You can meet these balls" as he groped himself firmly. I never did get those meatballs.

Horrible. Dirty. Not friendly or helpful. Asked to use the bathroom for our kids during our 15 min wait for a hot dog and fries and we were told the bathrooms were out of service. So, where are the workers there going to the bathroom???

No atmosphere but the hotdogs special cant be beat. 2 Vienna beef dogs w the Chicago works including big dill pickle slices, mustard tomatoes,onion, relish and sport peppers and a huge helping of excellent fries and a soft drink for $5.

This place usually has pretty good food, there are some times when the food is not so good or they skimp out on things. The service is pretty good most of the time and the food comes out fairly quickly. They do have good prices.

Paid $30 for like warm 8 piece broasted chicken and didn't get 2 breasts but instead got 1 breast and 3 thighs. Box was soaked with moisture from tge grease and the steam due to how long it sat in the drivers car.

Food is good prices are decent don't order the deep fried chicken sandwich cuz it tastes like it's been microwaved but other than that everything else have gotten from there is pretty good no complain

I absolutely Love Pizza Nova. I mean they thin crust is just everything. Is flaky and crispy good. I've tired just about all of their menu items.... Yum yum Good. A have try if you already haven't

Poor customer service I ordered a 6 piece buffalo wings and they gave me plain with a little bit of hot sauce and the guy told me if I wanted a thing of hot sauce!!!! Very disappointing!!!!

The sausage had no spice to it and the sauce was very bland. It wasn't robust or had any flavor. The crust also had no flavor. I would not recommend this pizza.
