PlayDate SuperPark is a remarkable play area for children, offering an expansive space brimming with exciting and stimulating activities. The design of the play place is excellent, ensuring that parents can comfortably watch their children play, providing both safety and peace of mind. The staff at PlayDate SuperPark deserve commendation for their attentive and proactive service. They are consistently present, making sure that all children are safe and thoroughly enjoying their time. The park also features a specially designed area for babies and toddlers, a considerate addition that caters to the littlest visitors, offering them a secure and engaging environment. Additionally, PlayDate SuperPark features a delightful little shop that offers a variety of cold drinks and snacks, a convenient option for parents and children in need of a quick refreshment. A slight drawback is the location of the restroom facilities. Situated outside the main play area, they require a bit of a walk to access. However, this minor inconvenience does not detract significantly from the overall experience. PlayDate SuperPark provides an excellent environment for children to play and have fun, while parents can relax, knowing their kids are in a safe, enjoyable, and well-supervised space.
Went to PlayDate SuperPark during the week. Kids like doing the obstacles etc. They do 1 hour slots. Which was plenty of time for the kids. Lots of staff members were around. The staff was setting up for a party, in a separate area. I think this is for younger kids. The slide down from the top area to the bottom area is very fast. Parents of smaller kids should take care to understand if the smaller kids are OK with such a fast slide. There is a coffee bar there but we decided to have coffee at another coffee shop as the kids were getting bored.
I think the venue and concept is great. The staff are really friendly. However I feel filthy after being there touching equipment and toys in the baby section. The place should be cleaned and sanitised daily - this is not the case. It’s not just because of traffic, the sensory wall items are visibly filthy. Dust lines on fixtures and equipment. I would strongly advise on better upkeep maintenance.also visible staff members on duty, I only saw 1 and non in the baby section. Plenty full behind the food station but next to no one supervising.
It's a nice place to visit if your kiddo is either 1-2 or 6 and up. The in-between kid may feel a bit left out as the activities doesn't cater for them much. My 4 year old either played with babies or he was too small to do their maize or climbing activities. The food wasn't great unfortunately. It's such a let down. It's real "play" "play" food. We had their fries, chicken nuggets and hot dog. I don't recommend eating here. There are better options in the water front. The staff to kid ratio isn't good and it's always packed.
A fantastic place for the kids amongst the bustle of the V & A Waterfront. They have various activities and play areas for all ages - our son especially enjoyed the obstacle courses and the ‘Little City’ - and the designated childminders are always keeping an eye to make sure all the kids are okay and playing by the rules. There’s also a little café inside the Playpark that has a small menu with all the favourites like pizza and sandwiches. They don’t serve alcohol which I think is a brilliant idea and applaud them for that.
Safety does not appear to be a priority at this venue as none of the equipment is padded. The girlie at front desk mysteriously does not have change if you pay cash and "will bring it to you inside".. which she conveniently forgets about unless asked. I can imagine she is making quite a profit. Staff are very nonchalant, turning a blind eye to lots of incidents including patrons vaping at the tables. On the plus side, the pricing for entry and meals/drinks is very reasonable.
What an amazing venue to host your little one’s party! The staff were readily available to attend to your EVERY NEED. When I arrived, they had already set up and they did such a great job!!! Everything was literally what I expected it to be and look like! They have truly outdone themselves!!!!! And the food was just as amazing!!! Huge Thanks to the entire team as well as Qahira who was just so sweet, kind and very accommodating! You made our day extra special
A must for parents and their children at the Waterfront. The best equipped kids jungle gym I've ever seen, with thought given to they parents experience too. There are all manner of things for kids to do. Parents can watch sports, watch kids, drink coffee and eat relatively nice food. They even have charging stations. The only lack is that the toilets are outside. Also, that they don't allow you to bring food inside.
The kids absolutely loved being at super park, there's just so much for the kids to do they were having a blast. The staff were really nice and it was good to sit back and chill a bit as the kids were quite occupied. For bigger kids it was fun to be able to do certain activities with them, a good bonding session. Food and drinks are available inside and there's plenty of room to sit around and catch a breather.
My son has a fabulous time here, Bernie and her team do a lovely job with kids and the apeties they host. Delicious platters and they have improved experiences over time - always looking to improve. The staff know my son by name by now... I do miss the nail bar they had there, was fabulous. But it has allowed them to recreate this space and have more offering for toddlers.
A very safe and secure theme park for children to visit. There's the obstacle courses well laid out, slides, zip line and various game areas. There's a seating area for a quick bite while keeping a eye on the children. The food was excellent and a variety to choose from. The freshly made pizza's was my favourite. A good overall experience.
Self contained fun for our kids, aged 4,4,6 and 8. Some parts a bit difficult for our 4 year Olds. The staff were super friendly and helpful. My kids especially loved the obstacle course. Nice place for mom and dad to sit and enjoy coffee. If it is your first time get there a few minutes before the hour to fill in forms.
This is one of the better, if not the most engaging, activity courses for kids in SA. Its made of mazes, zip lines, isolated levels etc and its great fun. Staff are friendly and very helpful. There are great seating areas if you wish to relax while the little guys tackle the play area. Awesome …
Celebrated my daughter's 6th birthday here. I had a fantastic experience. They nailed the theme, the savoury platters were delicious as well as the coffees! The party guests seemed to have had a wonderful time! I would definitely recommend. Thank you to Bernie for making sure everything was in order!
A fun and reasonably priced venue for the kids to enjoy themselves within a safe and secure environment. The food available for both adults and kids are simply amazing, especially the pizzas and chicken burgers. There is one gentleman in
The toddler play section was really dirty - the toys were grimey, the activity walls were visibly dirty and a lot of the toys and items were broken. A pity, as the older kids section looked fun. It's just as if the toddler section was a
What a waste of money! Broken toys, dirty tables (and we were the first ones there) and very little for 0-6 year olds to do! My son was bored after the first 30min! I would rather go to ipic play! Way more fun
I can't sing this places praises enough. My kid had a wonderful time. The staff was world class. I got a 30 min foot massage. Please order the chicken burgers. Best burger I have had in ages bar none
This place aims older kids more than toddler. The toddler area is not so great and the whole place smells like frying. Adding to this there are some games required coins and they can't give you any
Awesome spot. My kids have a ridiculously good time here, however, your music play list is not good at all. Please consider something that isn't so monotonous and "doof-doof" all of the time.
The toddler's area looks quite messy. Many toys are either damaged or dirty. In general it seems chaotic. It would make sense if once in a while the staff would bring things in order there.
Lovely place for children on any day but especially on a rainy day. Pricing is good compared to other play areas. The best was however tge very diligent STAFF members.
We had an amazing experience at the PlayDate SuperPark. My daughter enjoyed herself and the staff was great! Will definitely recommend the PlayDate SuperPark.
We are from jhb, took my grandkids to this place on the 13/11/2023. My granddaughter and grandson got hurt as there were no staff to assist as the
Staff were really great and so helpful. Had an hour of fun climbing and sliding. The balance section was our 4 year olds favorite part.
Really awesome place to take your kids. I especially like the idea that it’s built around the restaurant area so you
Great staff, and facilities my kids had fun
