My biggest issue with this company is the pricing and the owner. I really hope you respond. He had the audacity to question my wife’s and my integrity calling us “dishonest”. I have served honorably for our Nation for over 8 years and not once had I nor my wife tried to cheat our way or stab anyone in the back. I originally wasn’t going to leave a review because how much we were charged for a spigot to be replaced which mind you took 20 minutes. It really upset me and my wife could tell so she left a review that was later reported as spam by the owner and hidden from anyone else to see, as i or her mother cannot see it. I had called because my back yard spigot had spewed a leak. I called and was hung up the first time, this should have been my first hint. I called a 2nd time and the dispatcher told me I was to be charged 200 dollars for an emergency fee after I explained everything. I was hesitant since I thought that was steep and no other charge was explained for labor. I called again and their biggest concern was my card number while I was stressing over this leak. After I paid I was only told the plumbers arrival no other fees were explained. In his response he stated he told us all three times I was explained all charges, this isn’t true since the plumbers were the ones that told me. In other reviews he claims his lines are recorded so I hope this is true. When they came they explained they couldn’t do anything until they shut the water off and would give me an invoice before doing so. They did of course but I did not expect to pay $650 on top of the $200 emergency fee for them to replace a spigot! Google searches will show that on the high end it will be 450, not 650! Of course I was going to agree, what choice did I have? Let my yard flood or pay their predatory fee on a Saturday evening? Before they left they asked for a review, which again I wasn’t going to do. However the owner had the audacity to disrespect my wife with his comments, which crossed a line for me. I have viewed your responses to other dissatisfied customers and I am disgusted by the way you treat them when they call out your prices. You claimed your prices were “fair and competitive” to my wife however I did see your response to another customer that contradicts this claim, stating you don’t price match. Your claim that people accept these terms BEFORE you begin labor is very predatory considering some had urgent emergencies and like myself had no choice but to pay your fee. You also have had a habit of getting aggressive with reviewers when they call out your price gouging which I find unprofessional. We will be complaining to the better business bureau, it’s obvious you hide reviews that will hurt your business if consumers knew how much you charge. I added the photo of your company’s work, all for the low price of $850.

We have used Plumb Shield on several occasions and of course have always needed them after hours, so that means the higher call price. The first 2 times were great! Terry arrived quickly and got the job done to my knowledge correctly. I am not a plumber so I just assumed it was completed properly. The second call turned into the third and fourth call. The tub in one of my units was running hot water continuously without shutting off. Terry came out and fixed the problem... For a month. It happened again, same issues. Terry said it was the tenants fault for turning the knobs too hard, I've never heard of that and would hope delta products don't fall apart and break that easily. The tenant did notice the smell of weed both times and the residual smell was left wafting in her bathroom. We were charged the call, 200 and 799.82 the first call and on the second call, 740.16 (for the same thing) Fast forward from July 18 to August 8, same thing again. I know there is no way this is happening again! I called another company, and they were able to come out today and fix the problem once again I am putting my faith in them since I am not a plumber. I called the office to see what we can do and was met with complete a very combative response. The lady that answered the phone told me, if I didn't like that price I could have shopped around. I was depending on them to provided a fair price, but I was greatly mistaken. I feel completely taken advantage of. The new company came out and it was completed including the call for 350.00. When I mentioned the weed smell she told me the drivers are drug tested and since they drive company vehicles that shouldn't be true. I am disappointed in this company and their customer service.

Update- Today Plumb Shield Plumbing replaced my toilet. Terry and Nathan did a great job and the new toilet works well. Honestly, if you need plumbing work give them a call. They are really nice to work with and they do it efficiently. Today I had plumbing work completed by Terry and Damien and couldn't be happier. I called on Sunday about a leaky bathroom faucet and made an appointment for Wednesday. They arrived on time, inspected my faucet, pipes and valves and I asked them to look at my kitchen disposal as well. They repaired the leaky faucet, replaced the hot and cold on/off valves and lines and replaced my garbage disposal all in one appointment. Both Terry and Damien were efficient, helpful, friendly and professional throughout the whole process and they got everything in ship shape order quickly. I'm very happy with the results and will definitely call again when I need other plumbing work done. I'm glad I now know someone I can trust with plumbing repairs and I unreservedly recommend them. We had a toilet that, when flushed, was leaking out of the bottom where it’s caulked to the floor. Shield Plumbing sent out Terry Rogers and his son Nathan within 4 hours after my call. First, I was relieved for their same day availability and timely dispatch. We had just arrived to spend time at my elderly mother in law’s house for Christmas, and the leaking toilet was a bit frustrating and put a small damper in the mood. So having them handle this quickly was a huge relief. Second, Terry and Nathan were professional, courteous and communicated the issues they found, their recommendation, estimates and progress well. Third, we don’t wear shoes in the house and they kindly put on (and took off) shoe covers as they came in and out of the house as they worked. Lastly, Terry problem solved efficiently and even modified the circular hole in the concrete hole under the toilet that was too large for the phalange to be secured properly. Great job, Terry, Nathan and Shield Plumbing.

We had a clogged sewer line that caused a backup in our master shower and bath at 10:30pm on a Monday night. I had originally called a different plumbing company who was supposed to show up the next day (Tuesday) and never did. That’s when I gave Plumb Shield a call at 5:30pm Tuesday evening—they had someone to our house by 6:30pm which was a huge relief. Mr. Fort Worth (Terry) was our technician and he was very thorough and got our sewer line unclogged and was on his way within an hour. He gave us some tips for preventing the issue in the future, as well. We really appreciated his help and how quickly he was able to identify the issue. After the repair was finished, Terry went back into our yard to make sure he had closed our backyard gate and cleaned everything up. Those little things are appreciated! I didn’t get quotes from other places so I can’t speak to the price compared to other places, but the service was excellent.

Terry reset a toilet for me in October 2022. Cut out the old lead flange and replaced with a new PVC. Here we are 10 months later and that same toilet is leaking. **new plumber came out, toilet wasn’t set right on the wax ring**Two reasons for the review, they refused to honor their work, told me it’s only a 6 month warranty. I have another toilet I reset myself before they ever came and it’s still solid. I called them for this one because the lead flange needed to be cut out. But anyway, they won’t honor it. They overcharged me last time and I’m not paying them more. Second reason, Terry and his apprentice showed up today stinking of weed. He told me it’s a legal THC from the Texaco. I was a two time customer previously. Lost my business forever. I even called the office first to voice my displease with their warranty. Got no where.

Terry and his apprentice Nathan were awesome. One plumber I had at the house said I had a costly line break repair, and the other said I had a clog. Terry and Nathan solved the mystery by hydrojetting my entire water line to the street, and then video’ed the line as well as my sewer line from the toilet. The jetting out of the line revealed that I had no breaks but a clog, as well as the condition of my water line looking good for now. They were quick, efficient and communicative all along the way, and saved me money in the process. There was a glitch in the video recording and they made certain to re record and get it right so that I could see the progress that was done, and the condition of my system after the cleaning. Five stars all around and would definitely use Plumb Shield Plumbing again. Thanks!

Mr. Aledo, aka Terry, and Nathan showed up on time and were extremely professional and friendly. They listened to my concerns and after assessing the pipe, were able to explain the issues clearly to me. They created a fair bid and started the process right away! I was extremely impressed by their professionalism. Today They were able to replace a pipe outside that was leaking. Once finished, they showed me the small crack, most likely from a freeze. While they were here, I expressed concerns on the pressure of our faucets as well as our high water bill. They spent extra time checking the pressure to see if we had any additional small leaks. Terry also disassembled the faucets, and thoroughly cleaned the lines to ensure we would get the pressure back up. Highly recommend!

The best experience I have ever had with a plumber so far! I Called in the middle of the week with expectations of being seen the following week, but she scheduled me according to my availability which was a couple days later on a weekend. They did not charge me a fee to come out. I was only charged for the service provided. Once Stephanie confirmed that I would be home, Nathan and Terry showed up before time, explained in detail what services were needed and the cost up front. Both guys were very knowledgeable, courteous, really quick and proficient. Very reasonably priced service also. We are 25 year military veterans and they helped us with a discount. They took all the stress out of a bad situation. I highly recommend using this company. Ask for Terry and Nathan!

Extortionists! Great at first. Showed up quick at 3PM and worked late to repair our watermain same day. They charged $350 the first hour (leak detection), then called at 4 PM and said it would be $5000 to replace 10 feet of pipe. I verbally ok'd the work. At 7:30 PM they sent me an invoice for $6341. ($1400 per hour). When I refused to pay more than I was quoted they ranted about how much harder it was then expected. They threaten to pull the line and charge me with "theft of services". I refused. Later they called back and acted like they were doing me a favor by taking the $5000 ($1100 per hour). They refused to back fill the trench so I have to do that myself. Could not be more than $100 worth of pipe and connectors, so I was robbed. Would never use again.

It was only a matter of time before the cast iron pipes in our house failed. We've been ignoring clues for years, not really expecting the problem to go away, but hoping it wasn't as bad as we feared. Terry removed the commode and ran a camera to assess the damage. He showed us the footage from the scope showing how badly the pipes had deteriorated. Terry proceeded to tell us what we would need to do to keep the backflow problems from occurring in the future, which includes replacing the cast iron pipes with PVC. Terry showed us pictures of the tunneling they will need to do under the house and pictures of old cast iron and new PVC pipes from previous jobs. He was very professional and I would recommend him to others.

We called Plumb Shield for a second quote after receiving a very high quote from another company. Terry arrived quickly the same day and gave us a very fair quote to replace the water heater and offered some extra safety features with no pressure to buy them if we didn't want to. Terry and Nathan not only on time but early than planned! From the second they arrived they were ready to go and hurry for work.Right off the RIP they began using the camera to locate any blockage from the yard to the street and from the house to the street, Following this they used the locator to follow the camera through the line and identify the blockages in the eroding concrete line. after this immediately began painting out and measuring out the distance from the house to the valve to the street quick fast, and in a hurry in and out in less than an hour no BS straight to a quote to get this problem resolved for me and my family.

Had an after hours emergency water leak in our yard. We called Plumb Shield Plumbing and within 30-45 minutes Terry and Nathan arrived. Terry and Nathan were able to quickly identify the leak and put together a plan to repair a broken fitting. They neatly dug a 1x1” hole, repaired the leak, and left everything good as new - even with the Texas summer heat, you can’t even tell they dug a hole. Very friendly and professional, extremely responsive. Prices are a little high, but understandable for an after hours emergency repair. Military friendly and provided a small discount. Will use in the future and recommend to others.

They came to my house and unclogged my drain like Mario and Luigi with the freaking quickness. They were nothing but professional and knowledgeable. They provided my family and I with absolute service excellence and I will be able to take a shower and use my toilet tonight because of them. We had a pipe bust on a Sunday afternoon and had to make an emergency call to have someone come out to fix the issue. Terry and Nathan showed up within an hour and made the repairs in a timely manner. They were able to reinstall the hose bibb and repair the busted pipe with ease abd did very good job and doing the job right and professionally. They also provided helpful advice on how to move forward with additional repairs that were needed. While they were here, we also had them unclog one of our drains. All and all, Nathan and Terry saved the day on an emergency call on Sunday afternoon.

My water heater leaked at the worst time on a Friday evening. I was worried I couldn't get anyone out here or will be overcharged since it was outside of regular business hours. I called Plumb Shield and they were able to send out Terry and Nathan within 2 hours. They checked out the heater, recommended replacement, and gave me a free estimate. They came the next morning and was able to do the replacement within 3 hours. My heater was 20 years old, so they had to upgrade and add some parts to get it up to code. Terry and Nathan came out to diagnose a blockage in our drainage pipe to the street. They used a camera during the diagnostic process then used an auger to try and clear the clog. When that didn't work, they were able to use a jetter to blast the clog out. Afterward, they sent the camera back down and were able to identify the original source of the blockage on the city side and recommended we have the city come out to take a look. They did a good job of explaining what and why they were doing things and didn't let any setbacks stop them from getting the job done

First time hiring a plumber. The experience was great from start to finish. Quick response time from the office and Nathan was great! He was really respectful of my time and space and was able to diagnose my problem in minutes. He gave me estimates and explained the process every step of the way. He let me know what to look out for in the future and made sure I had an estimate and questions answered in case I continue to experience issues in the future. Front office worked with me to schedule the plumbing so that the water shut off would not affect the neighboring businesses as we are tied to one shut off valve. Terry and his assistant Nathan arrived right at 8am, assessed the scope of the work (replacing 4 leaking custom valves over my cookpots), gave me an estimate and explanation of what was going to be done and improved to make any future repair easier. Upon approval of estimate, they went and picked up the parts. Repairs were done quickly and work was done and tested by 9:30am.

None of our plumbing was working, our landlord hired plumb shield and they came out right away. They officially started work yesterday and I wish I could give them 10/10 stars! I’ve never seen a company stay to do a job and actually care about getting things done! Very happy with Terry from the Plumb Shield Plumbing service. We had a frost-proof outdoor faucet whose housing split leaking into the wall. The plumber arrived on schedule, was very knowledgeable and professional. We discussed repair options and cost electing a slightly more freeze resistant option.The plumber showed us the damaged faucet and replaced it with a new one. The work looked excellent. Overall, we would recommend using Terry and the Plumb Shield Plumbing service again.

Plumb Shield just finished up installing new sewer lines and a new water heater along with new toilets and flanges at one of my rental houses I have. I’ve used a couple of different plumbers in the DFW area and Plumb Shield is by far the best I’ve used. They were professional and knowledgeable and got stuff done in a timely manner. They used their camera to pinpoint why the sewer needed to be replaced and then had it done in no time. Truly some of the best plumbers in DFW.

Terry and Nathan did a great job to fix our kitchen disposal issue. They ran a camera and jetter through the pipes to get all the crud out. We decided to go ahead and get a new disposal even though ours was still working but since it was 24+ years old, we figured it would be proactive to replace it at this time. Terry had been to our house earlier this year to deal with another plumbing issue we had. The young men are very professional, knowledgeable and helpful!!

My hot water heater quit working at some point yesterday so we called to set up an appointment. Terry and Nathan were here bright and early the very next day to assess the problem. Ultimately, my water heater was outdated, parts aren’t accessible, and just needed to be replaced. They got the replacement complete within a couple hours with no issues. Very knowledgeable and professional guys and did quality work. We will definitely be calling them again.

Called Saturday afternoon to schedule an early morning Monday appointment regarding a potential gas leak. Terry and Nathan came out on time first thing Monday morning, ran a test at the meter checked every possible line determined there was no gas leak and the only charge I was asked to pay was for their service call…no additional fees. Very straightforward and honest, right to the point. I would recommend them to anybody here in my community.

Stayed at a B&B with some plumbing issues. Terry and Nathan arrived and used their professional equipment to clear some tree roots and debris. They also used a camera to identify a large root problem and advised the B&B owner of steps to have the city of Ft Worth address this big issue. Photo of the large tree root attached. Very professional crew and we appreciate them coming out on a Saturday morning.

We had a leak underneath the sink, and we were able to get an appointment pretty quickly. Terry & Nathan were friendly, professional, and on time. They took time to make sure I understood what the problem was along with discussing my options. They ended up replacing our worn down garbage disposal unit, and we have no more leak! This is our second time using these guys, would highly recommend.

Mike did an awesome job on my sewage line. Him and his team were very quick at excavating the area and replacing the entire pipe. Had some hiccups with the city of Azle when they either forgot or just ignored the request for a final inspection and had to wait an additional day. But no issues with Mike or Stephanie, they were both very helpful and did what they had to do to finish the job.

Called and same day they sent out a team to help me. Terry saw the issue and was able to give me a suggestion. He gave me an estimate and it was more than fair. We needed to replace an outdoor frost free faucet. On time, answered questions and checked to make sure I didn’t have a leak in the wall. Gave me some suggestions on if I have a leak in the future. We got home from a trip to find a pond under a hose bib on the front of our home. My husband was unable to do the repair and we needed water TONIGHT. We called and within an hour Terry was here and by the second hour he had it repaired. I’m very impressed and grateful. Terry was professional and on time. Terry and Nathan quickly diagnosed the cause of the very low water pressure in our house. They replaced the pressure reducing valve, installed a water heater expansion tank, and replaced a faulty hose bib. They were both very professional and friendly, and worked quickly and neatly. Terry and Nathan were so wonderful. I had a problem with my out going pipe. They came right over, found the problem by using the snake and the camera. They came back the next day, had the hole dug and pipe was fixed. Used the “jet” to clean out my pipe to prevent buildup. Terry and Nathan did a great job of getting my fireplace gas line prepared for gas log installation. They did a good job of cutting down the nipple in the firebox and pressing a 90 and nipple onto the current nipple so that I could tie in my gas burner. They provided great customer service and ensured that everything was done correct and how I needed it.
