Peace and reflection Read the stones and memorials and see how many died at war ..very young men joined up Some were killed within days of an horrific war ww2 … Beautiful Moslem stones on a slope Occasional fox… I always drift in on my way to welling shops Calm thinking Edit… I see remarks about weeds etc ..no grass cut … It’s still peaceful? But our dead are at peace? Surely in this lock in it’s ok? Perhaps volunteers could attend to the area Anyone interested

When I went to plum stead cemetery 10/08/21 to visit my mum and nans grave, half of the cemetery was over grown, to waste high, I was very disappointed at this disturbing sight, it totally ruined my visit, and upset me , to have to fight my way threw weeds an unclear pathways, I had to use my walking stick to push bad weeds out the way, with my sisters helping infront of me, terrible upsetting experience

Took my dad's ashes to be buried with my brother today. The two guys who did the digging and helped us out we're outstanding, really put my mum at ease. True londoners. Thanks guys.

The grounds are clean and well cared for and the sun shines directly on my loved one's grave. …
