Maputo Police are the worst ever. They want money from every tourist. They stopped me, I showed them all paperwork and they snatched my paperwork demanding money. When I refused to give them money as I was not at fault with any thing, they said I should follow them to the police station. We drove in circles around town as I was following them for 30 minutes until they parked at a bushy deserted compound and they forced me to get off my car. I demanded to rather go to the police and they drove off with my documents.
