Unfortunately, even with excellent customer service, the shoes lack longevity and quality. I purchased these shoes less than 12 months ago (in Sept 2022), and the sole already has a hole, which is considered normal wear and tear by the company. This experience has left me disappointed, especially when compared to other brands like Steve Madden, whose shoes lasted me well over a year. I initially expected the quality to be comparable to well-known brands like Everlane, but sadly, I was proven wrong. Following my review, I was contacted by customer support again. However, I was disheartened to learn that the only option offered was to resole the shoes, and they provided me with the care instructions page. I had already followed the care instructions meticulously and even purchased the leather protector when buying the shoes. Despite my efforts, the shoes did not hold up as expected. In my opinion, the company should consider adding a disclaimer to their shoes with thin soles, stating that they are unlikely to be covered by warranty if a hole develops in less than a year, even with normal usage (1-2 times per week, excluding winter). This way, customers can make informed decisions before purchasing and avoid potential disappointment. Given my experience, I would advise others to explore alternatives and consider other brands when investing in quality footwear. Spending a lot on these shoes may not yield the expected durability, and there are likely better options available in the market.

I was so excited to get my purse in, I went a couple weeks back and fourth deciding which color. I knew with covid and me changing from wearing a diaper bag to a purse I wanted to support local and splurge on myself a little bit. I decided on the beautiful tan color. Unfortunately I am so disappointed with it, I do not recommend it as an everyday purse. It is super sensitive leather and if anything gets on it it is hard to get out. My son was next to be and I got a couple small splashes of milk on it. Was given directions how to clean it and it did not come out. It discoloured when I cleaned it. Although the stain may have been on me this leather is so sensitive where you can’t get anything on it. The stitching at the bottom is coming out and the inside is pretty cheaply made for over a $350 bag. I have had many leather bags and know of many companies that stand by their products but all I was told is to take it to a leather cleaner (which would cost me more) It kills me to write a bad review but I am just so disappointed.

I was excited to get a pair of beautiful flats from Poppy Barley. When I brought my pair home, I noticed some water stains on one of the shoes. No problem! I went back to the store for an exchange, and one of the associates brought me what they said the only pair left in store even though I was told that there were 3-4 pairs in stock the day before. I took a look at the new pair and there were huge black scratches... The associate said that it's the leather of the flats that are prone to marks like that, and I told her that I would like to purchase a brand new pair with no apparent damage... Long story short, I was able to get a pair that meets the basic standards. However, I don't think I'll go back to Poppy Barley due to their overpriced shoes for their quality.

Beautiful shoes, but they don't last long. I had a pair of flats that I wore for only a short amount of time before the leather literally ripped. I've never had that happen before. The shoes all seem to scratch and show wear and tear very quickly no matter how much you baby them. I thought it was just a fluke with my first pair, but it has happened with all the PB shoes I own. They are easily the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn, but at these prices, it's not actually sustainable if they damage so quickly.

I purchased The Kit Combat Boot Taupe Water Resistant Nubuck. When they arrived, I noticed there was some wear on them and so I contacted customer service, and Jill was amazing to work with. I returned the boots and received my brand new pair quickly (checked by Jill herself). The boots arrived in pristine condition. I am thankful for the way this matter was handled. The boots are so comfortable, warm and keep the moisture out! They look great with jeans and leggings. Love the quality of Poppy Barley!

I purchased my first pair of Poppy Barley’s - the Daily Loafer 2.0. The instructions to order a half size larger were spot on. The quality of the leather and shoes are excellent. The concierge service was fast, helpful and very friendly. I have already shared my referral link with friends and am set to order more pairs shortly. Love that this is a Canadian owned company doing ethical manufacturing with partners in Mexico. A win all around.

I have 2 pair of boots, the Two Point Five Ankle Boot I purchased in 2016, from their OG location & more recently the On Trend Chelsea boot. BOTH boots I have worn for hours/day and they're so comfortable. I love the conscious decisions they make to have ethically made products! As much as I hate writing this negative review, I have purchased a number of pairs of PBs and the quality is really always so poor. The boot heels continue to stain and splint and the leather wears and rips. I love the idea of the company and the values but the quality does not reflect the price...

I love my Poppy Barley shoes. I now have five pair and they are gorgeous, fit well and so comfortable to wear. (I do size up 1/2 size in my PB shoes) I highly recommend Poppy Barley for any shoes or accessories (I see one of their beautiful bags in my future). You will not be disappointed!

Bought a pair of men’s shoes a few years ago, I only wear them on special occasions (maybe five times total) and the seams started coming apart. I contacted customer service and they just pointed me to a shoe repair guy in the city. Shoes look nice but the quality leaves some to be desired.

These shoes are worth the money! Fit perfectly and so comfortable. There are days at trade shows where I am on the floor standing for 8 hours and with these shoes my feet actually hold up. They look fantastic too. I can honestly say these are the best dress shoes I have ever owned.
