Hornsby Portmans is my local Portmans. Honestly, the shop is not the nicest to look at. You cannot easily see what is available because there is so much stock in the shop. There seems to always be a fairly large section for sale items and all sizes are out. This seems to also be the case for the non sale clothes. It would be better if the non sale section displayed only 1 of each size in each style. If their defense, the Sydney CBD store also seems to have a lot of stock out but that shop is at least 4 times the size! I still rated this store 4 stars because the staff were so patient and helpful when i needed assistance with sizes, styles not available at their store yet, exchanges and refunds. Also, sales items that are sold out online can often be found in this store! If you don't have patience, this shop might drive you bonkers!

Actually just today afternoon i went there to buy workwear with my husband .Service is worst than before there was a women with glasses doesn’t know how to deal with customer . I went to try that blazer in the change room my husband was waiting for me outside the changing room as i called him to see me how i am looking on that dress. How could she say my husband to come-out of the way and stay a-bit outside of the main entrance of changing room? I went there before but known of them said this to us. Though i liked the dress and wanted to buy it but left the shop without buying it because of that lady behaviour towards us . Please be nice to your each and every customers . U lost 169$ Sells because of her .

If I could give zero stars I would but I have to give one star. Today I had dresses bought on line from Portmans website. The zippers on the dresses were faulty/damaged. I removed the dresses tags. I went to Hornsby Portmans to get a refund or store credit on the dresses but the store manager Carlota refused to do anything as the dress tags were removed. So I have lodged with fair trade. Disappointed in the customer service and I will never be buying from Portmans again, they lost a valued customer. I just want my refund hopefully fair trade will help.

Found a beautiful blouse with stains all over it. I asked staff if they had another one out back , she checked and said yes. I asked of she could get it for me and she said she cant leave the counter unattended. I begged her for it because i loved it. First you give me a stained blouse to try on then you tell me you cant get me a new one that is sitting out back? What kind if service is this? You lost $80 silly people.

Jasmine was beyond amazing. She was friends and helpful, had excellent product knowledge and great recommendations. She also sold me an extra set of pants and two blazers after I’d already checked out which I completely love and I’m not even mad about the extra $300 or so that I accidentally spent! Customer service is what makes a store, I’ll definitely be back for more office attire.

I was served by a lady in her senior years, who was so helpful, knew the stock, professional and friendly. The most pleasant shopping experience I have had in years.
