There is a short, middle aged lady who works there (she was on Friday 3/11 evening). She ignored my entire existence in the store, walking past me to greet customers, telling them of the sale and just pretended I wasn't there. Now, I was there looking for Portmans Curve range, as its on the website and because this lady wasn't doing her job properly, I went up to her and asked about it. She straight out and rudely (note her whole attitude changed when I spoke to her) said "Jacqui-e has the Curve range." It was at this point that the woman saw me, judged my appearance and size, and deemed me unfit to be worthy of any customer service. It is absolutely disgusting to be discriminated like that. I have made an official complaint about this the Portmans Customer Care, and I hope something happens with that lady. Because she either needs to get a new job or be retrained.

It's been many years that l shop at Portmans .l have bought several items from different stores for special events.The service at Chadstone store is outstanding. Very polite and professional. Helpful with outfits .Example - l bought a top yesterday ,super excited .The reason why ,is that l had already bought the black .The silver one was on sale .The Manager at Chadstone store and staff are amazing .Highly recommend. Thank you .

Andrea who works here is so lovely and really passionate about making sure people are comfortable and happy in what they are wearing. Walked in looking for a cardi, but not fully knowing what would look good on me. She gave me same amazing tips on how to dress for my body and I left feeling incredible and with a cardi that suits my body type, which is not normally the case for me.

Came to see Jess yesterday and she was a delight! Straight away asked if I needed help, listened to what I wanted and quickly nipped around the store to grab me some items to get started. While in the changing room she checked up and brought me even more clothes to try. She let me put some items on hold for an hour while I shopped elsewhere. Wonderful service, will be back again

Very rude older ladies. Mocked me for using the word ‘absolutely’ when agreeing with her and was just overall not friendly. Tried to make small talk and ask how their day was going but was ignored (looked at me, rolled their eyes and just kept talking about going on their 15 minute break). Absolutely appalling behaviour. Especially around Christmas time. Will not return.

Welcome back to shopping post lockdown. Whoop whoop It seems as though Chadstone have really bounced back. So happy to be out and about again. Over the years I’ve found a lot of beautiful pieces at Portmans. Maybe more of a workwear store than going out wear. I didn’t find anything on this shop. The staff were friendly and the store was tidy.

Wonderful experience! All the ladies in Portmans were very friendly and extremely helpful. They made me feel so welcome and I loved all their ideas about different style tops. Big thank you to Sharon and all the girls in Portmans you’ve helped me feel really confident about starting my new job tomorrow.

Nice place and people. Only a bit of a drop as the mass produced items whilst still have good cut and colours, are using cheaper fabrics than they used to. And made in China if concerned about labour practices and Uyghur peoples human rights abuses

Witnessed the manager staff pressure and micromanage the other staff members to "make sales" and overheard their conversations near the backroom beside the change rooms. Very inappropriate.

I just love the lastest seasons of clothes on offer at Portmans. Beautiful prints and colours and definitely worth paying a bit more for good quality clothes

Staff member at chadstone tonight was so rude it was appalling. Your literally being paid to provide customer service do your job.
