I think the Posh experience is second to none out there, while I am very critical of nail salons out there, I find that Posh Contessa is very professional, clean, friendly and is absolutely gorgeous. I normally get gels on because I know that Posh uses quality products and pays meticulous attention to getting me what I want done. The girls are young and fresh and creates both a happy atmosphere for me. Overall, my experience is as follows: 1. When I arrived, I was greeted and was asked to wait. The wait is never too long but this is the norm. 2. My technician arrived to take me to choose a colour as she became available. 3. After I chose my colour I get seated at my station and then service begins. 4. My technician is very meticulous to ensure that my nails are done properly, so she is focused on my hands. 5. When I was done, I was asked to rinse off and my technician gives me a hand massage. 6. The owner helps me with checking out and my service was done. Overall, I see that they were very efficient in trying to give me a no rush - no fuss experience. I would definitely go there again and while I recognize they are not perfect, I would recommend Posh to anyone out there.

I decided to try this salon because I was tired of going to all the other nail salons in Mississauga. Before I went to Posh I of course did my research and like most of you, the reviews were good especially for one particular nail tech. So I booked my appointment online with Adrienne. When I got to the salon they were very friendly and professional. The service was Amazing Adrienne really took care of me. The service I booked for online I changed when I was in the salon and she was so accommodating. She also made sure she phoned her next appointment to give a heads up! The price was actually really good. I got mani/pedi spa (foot massage) with shellac, armpits waxxed as well as a full set and it came to $170. The reason why I gave it a 4 star is because I found their website to be a little confusing because there are so many options and I didn’t know what to select. Also I don’t find this salon to be rude like others, I noticed the workers don’t talk about their clients in their language like most other salons do. Their English is clear and concise and very easy to understand! But nonetheless I would absolutely recommend this salon to friends and family!

I have been going to this spa for over 5 years after a friend recommended them to me. From the first time I went there the owners and long term staff have always remembered and recognized me when I come in. They are also very accommodating when I make last minute appointment requests. I go to Posh Contessa for manicures and pedicures (shellac and regular) sometimes with paraffin treatments. I have also had eyebrow waxing, a facial and eye lash tint/perm. I have always been happy with the services I have received. They are very friendly and professional without being a silent snooty cone of silence like some of the higher priced day spas in the area. Some people like that sort of atmosphere, but if you prefer a relaxing human experience like I do then Posh Contessa is the place to go! I definitely recommend this spa! Don’t let a few bad reviews deter you from trying out their services. Most people who have a great experience don’t bother to post reviews so I would say the few negative reviews are definitely not the norm. My daughter and I had a Mani/pedi and facial at Posh - our first outing in over 20 months. This was our first time at this salon which had been referred by a friend. We will be going back!! The place is immaculate. Janette and her team have taken every precaution to ensure that all her customers and clients remain safe and healthy. There are plexiglass shields at the manicure tables and Janette and Dina, who did the facials, were double masked. The facials themselves were divine. Very relaxing and rejuvenating. It was my 23 year old daughter’s first one (my treat after 20+ months of constant mask wearing) and she said that she almost fell asleep. Neither esthetician left the room during the treatment. They were constantly massaging or attending to you. Just lovely. And, quality Dermalogica products! The manicures and pedicures were equally top notch and very relaxing ! We enjoyed our time with Janette and Dina - very professional and engaging. Janette is an absolute hoot! We will definitely be returning and can highly recommend The Posh Contessa!

At first, I was glad they could squeeze me in for a gel removal….. boy was that a mistake. I should have known that they give the clients without appointments to the new technicians, but I had hoped that at least they would be professional. I came in to have my gel nails removed - I was shocked when the tech took out a plastic nail tip and proceeded to PRY MY GEL OFF WITH THE PLASTIC TIP! It was incredibly painful - thank god for the lady next to me noticed that I was in extreme pain and told the tech to stop doing that. The quality of the manicure was very poor - lots of excess skin and rough, uneven nails. I wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible so I didn’t say anything else and went home to fix the nails myself! Disappointed that I could not trust this highly reviewed salon to complete a basic nail service.

I am absolutely in love with the amazing detailed work that LEE does. She is beyond amazing at her craft! I would recommend her to anyone looking for a new nail technician. She is very precise with her work, doesn’t rush you and insures you are happy threw every step of her work! Posh Contessa is extremely organized, very clean and very welcoming. I’ve been to many salons before finally discovering this place! I won’t be going anywhere else ever again! You can tell they actually care about their business and don’t want to just rush you out like all those other nail places. They also have a great online reservation system, that show you the prices up front with taxes, so you know that you actually have an appointment and no surprises on price at the register. Wish I can give them more than 5 stars !

The nail salon is very clean and staff very friendly. Im so happy that I found Adrienne from reading the online reviews, she is truly as good as the reviews say. Excellent gel refill and the french manicure look stunning. Adrienne provided some recommendations on colors and absolutely love, love , love it! The pedicure was also done so nicely, she so gentle and the shellec done beautifully. Othee than nalls, I added a lash extention and am so happy with how it looks. Not heavy and looks natural. I also want to recogize the receptionist for reaching out on the day of the appointment to let me know of short delay (15 mins). Much appreciated. (It's great to know people's time are respected, this means alot) Thank you for such a wonderful time!

I have been a client for many years at Posh to have my gel nails done, and have always been very happy with the services and those who have provided my services, specifically Dina, Jamie and Adrian. Their interactions are always professional and customer oriented. The final product has never been a disappointment despite the fact that I am very particular about my nails. I found a colour that I really like and when they could not find it they made every attempt to copy it. Thankfully they have found it since, and hopefully will continue to order it, because that's the kind of customer care they have always offered. I am thankful to have so many competent service providers that are accommodating and caring enough to offer exceptional service.

I found this place online. First impression, Amazzzzzing!!! Lee was phenomenal! I had a shellac manicure and shellac pedicure which was great! I also have an injury and Lee took extra care which was greatly appreciated. I was also able to book my appointment online and leave a note for appointment booker to pass on. The staff is very professional, friendly and really help you relax with your visit there. The chairs for the manicure and pedicure are very comfortable and easy to get in to. They also have a huge variety of shades for regular and shellac style. The place is very clean and tidy. They are constantly cleaning between appointments. All the staff is always smiling. Keep up the great work! I can't wait to go back for my next visit!

Great location and not your typical nail salon. Modern design accompanied with a clean and friendly atmosphere. A wise person once said, "Cheap stuff isn't good and good stuff isn't cheap". I live in Hamilton, work in Burlington so I'm used to Hamilton prices. However, it's more upscale and focused on customer experience and I'm okay with that. The services they offer range from gel nails (I prefer bio-gel with shellac) , facials, massage, waxing and more. The owner seemed to be very hands on, she greeted me and cashed me out. My technician, Rosie, was such a professional and I was very pleased with the results. Overall I had a great experience and I will be back. I literally want to try almost everything they offer.

It was my first time getting my nails done, so I was pretty nervous, but Lee was so friendly that I didn’t stay that way for long! :) I am so glad I came to Posh Contessa for my first spa experience. I booked online (super quick and easy to do), and went for the shellac mani/pedi w/ scrub and massage. I’m very happy with my experience, as I had been obsessively reading about what to do, and what to avoid. Everyone I interacted with was kind, professional, and helpful. The decor was very nice, and everything was clean and it looked like everyone really cares about their work space. After reading reviews. I decided to come here for the first time. The place was not busy and Tina who was doing my nails was very helpful with styling and colours. I told her that it was for a wedding and she took extra care to make sure that my pedicure did not smudge, and that my nails were done to perfection. I will definitely be going back here. She gave me exactly what my expectations were as you can see in the photos below. She helped match the colour for my toes to my dress and when I said I wanted short nails with a French tip design she knew exactly what to do. I can see why this place is so highly rated. Honestly I don’t understand either i got unlucky with my manicure looking at the reviews or I don’t know., but i fell for these reviews and regret it. I normally don’t leave bad reviews, i just don’t return but i was so upset knowing that the next day I had to go on vacation with horrible nails!This was my worst experience getting nails done. My first time at this place and that was my last time. My nails looked better when i came in than after manicure. Cuticle wasn’t clean at all. I chose neutral shellac colour , first of all it was applied way too far from cuticles leaving huge gaps and uneven .Not professionally done and the price i paid is ridiculous.

I have tried many nail places in Burlington and Posh Contessa is my favourite! Their online booking system is seamless and can be accessed through their website. I have never waited for an appointment that I have made and they follow-up with you regarding your appointments through email and text. I get a gel manicure here frequently and it usually lasts about 3 weeks before my nails grow out and need to be touched up. The staff are very kind and always check in throughout the appointment to make sure your nails are to your liking. I love the space itself; it's very clean and tidy. I definitely recommend coming here for all your manicure needs.

I’ve been coming to this salon for 8+ years now, and I’ve always been really happy with my shellac here! They do such a good job, are quite flexible, and are very friendly!! Would highly recommend for shellac manicures most definitely, and for pedicures as well! I should say that I only once had a slight issue with my shellac manicure and kindly asked if it could be fixed, and the owner, and rest of the staff, were extremely polite and very generous in allowing me to come back and have it fixed free of charge - I really appreciated this, and their customer service was excellent in this situation. Thank you!! Truly a staple salon for me!!

Great place for gel nails. They've always been very accommodating and professional. I found the salon to be very clean. I've been to quite a few salons (the whole spectrum, - mall shops to high end spas) and after a few visits to Posh Contessa, I would say it is definitely a WAY better experience than the mall salons but more affordable/less time consuming than the spa. I find the quality and attention to detail to be very consistent. The ladies have always been welcoming/friendly and they have great service; I chipped/broke one of my tips shortly after my appointment and they fixed it for me with zero hassle.

I love coming here every couple weeks to have my manicure and pedicures done. Despite the manual nature of my work, when I have my shellac manicure at Posh Contessa it seems to last longer than most places I've been to. Their method of shellac ensures that there isn't any premature lifting of the polish which adds tons of value to the service overall. The environment is clean, calm, friendly, and beautiful! I work in Burlington and was looking for a local salon for waxing. A co-worker recommended Posh Contessa and I am glad she did. I had a fantastic experience, when I walked in I was greeted in a friendly manor. In the waxing room I noticed how clean the salon was and was happy to see the technician used a new wax stick (right, you would think that would be everywhere but I have been to, and left, a few that did not). I had my underarms waxed, it was quick. The price was very reasonable. I am glad I work in the area because I will go back. You should try it out.

I tried really hard to like this place since it’s close to my house. So, inevitably I’ve tried them a few times but every time without fail I have a nail break max three days after getting them done. I tried going here at 6 to get it fixed when they were open till 7 online got there and they were closed. Just got here again today to try and I guess they close at five though it was still open for me to walk in they said they couldn’t help and to come back tomorrow. At this point I won’t even go back so they can fix it cause they can’t even

Very nice pedicure... I had a gift certificate so opted for the hot stone pedicure. My pedicure included a very nice salt scrub up my calves, nice massage, followed by hot stone massage, paraffin treatment and hot towels. I went with a friend and we had a room for 2. Was clean and comfortable. I am only giving this a 3 star rating because the staff barely spoke English. Throw in a strong accent, not great English and a mask- all made communicating very difficult. If I am paying $100 for pedicure I would expect more from staff.

I moved to Oakville from the US and searched for months for a place that I loved as much as my “home” nail salon. After several so-so pedicures and shoddy gel manicures, I stumbled into Posh Contessa after a visit at the Starbucks in the same parking lot. I was thrilled with the service and have been going every two weeks for 2 years ever since! The ladies are lovely; the attention to detail is awesome and the pedicure is luxurious and relaxing. It’s so nice to have a place like “home”! ♥️

My friend and I booked appointment to get manicures and pedicures and it was so easy. The site is very straight forward for booking and convenient to just book online instead of calling or walking in. The service was amazing! We had Miley and Lesley and both of these girls were outstanding. The nails look amazing and the cream that they put on you afterwards smells like heaven! The place is so cute and welcoming and my friend and I will definitely be coming back!!!

I’ve been getting my nails done at Posh Contessa for 7 months now. The booking process is so easy, it’s well priced and I always feel comfortable and relaxed at my appointments. If you’re looking to do bio gel nails, I highly recommend Anna - her attention to detail is amazing and always does such a great job with the shape which is very important to me. She is also very talented at executing all my nail art requests and makes some helpful recommendations.

I got a full set of gel nails done by Anna and a shellac pedicure done by Lin. Both ladies did amazing. The best nail salon I have been to! Highly recommend and will most definitely be a returning customer! Update: I just had a gel fill done with Tina and I am beyond happy with how my nails turned out! I also had the pleasure of chatting with the owner, Jeanette, who is so friendly. This is the only nail salon I will come to from now on!

As another reviewer wrote, I have been to just about every nail salon in Burlington and have never been happy. Today, that all changed. I had Lee do my Gel nails and a pedicure. My nails have NEVER looked this amazing. She takes her time and will ask you over and over again if you are satisfied and if there is anything you would like to change that will make you happy. Nice place to get yourself pampered! I’ve been here for waxing and pedicure before and they mostly have sufficient staff available that makes it easy even if I just walk in for a quick wax sometimes. They do encourage an appointment and i lately found out they offer online appointments! Plus point... They are open on Mondays when most of the spas are closed. I plan to try their facial sometime soon

Clean, great techs, super professional. Went with my bff and they actually have a room with just two chairs separate from the other stations. It's perfect for a pair of friends or a couple. We were ushered in there when we arrived which was awesome. It was nice to have the privacy so we could catch up. Total recommend. Remember, if you're going with a friend or partner, inquire about that room.

I visited Posh Contessa tonight with two of my friends, one of which has never had a pedicure before. The service was amazing and the massage chair was so relaxing. One technician made my pedicure newbie friend feel so comfortable and relaxed. All of their tools were clearly sanitized prior to use which is very nice (but rare) to see. Definitely will be coming back.

I've been here 3 times to see Lee for a shellac manicure and she does an amazing job! Unfortunately I saw another nail tech here once and the shellac was already peeling the next day. I came back within a week to see Lee and had my nails redone for free! With Lee my shellac lasts a month with no chipping or peeling! I will continue to come back to see Lee.

First time visiting Posh Contessa today. I had a pedicure and manicure with Adrienne. She did an excellent job with my nails that have been untouched for over a year thanks to the pandemic. The staff are friendly, everything is clean and bright. Lots of polish colour choices and really good value over all for your money. I will definitely be back!

Nice place, the girl that did my nails was good. But unfortunately 3 fingers of the shellac peeled off in 2 days and the 4th couple days after. That has never happened to me. They did offer to fix the fingers that peeled but I don’t live in the area was just working nearby so not worth my gas and time. I’ll just stick to my usual place.

I love my nails! First time getting my bio gel set done by Adrienne and I am convinced I have found my new nail girl! She had the perfect recommendation for me after having a set that wasn’t done properly. Her care and attention to detail was so appreciated and I will definitely be back! I am extremely particular about how my nails are done and have been getting acrylic/gel done for years. I highly recommend Posh Contessa, and my regular nail technician, Harley. She is fast, professional and does an excellent job. Ok, they’re not cheap...but you get what you pay for!

This is my favourite place to get a pedicure in Burlington. The massage chairs are so relaxing and they use really nice smelling, high quality products throughout the service. Plus the foot and leg massage is heavenly!! Would highly recommend if you are looking to treat yourself :)

The price is slightly higher than some of the other places I have been in the area. However, I feel like in terms of quality and cleanliness it more then makes up for that price difference. My artist was kind and friendly and very intentional with my service:) will be back!

I have tried other places that are good but none are as good as Posh Contessa. Best pampered experience, very clean and excellent service. I definitely recommend it and it's nice to see men feel comfortable here too. I'll definitely bring my hubby in for a pedicure.

This was my first time here, I booked online with Anna, email confirmation says I was booked with Jenny but Hanna did my mani and pedi. I was puzzled with that and probably should have asked why that happened but Hanna did a nice job and I left it at that.

Real Gel nails. No powder. The staff is kind and attentive to the style you want. It is always clean and smells good. Getting my nails done here is a pleasure. It has become part of my self care ritual. I suggest you try their pedicure for a real treat.

I had bio gel nail extensions done by Adrianne and they look fantastic! I’ve had my nails done by others and I’m always happy, but Adrianne did an amazing job. I loved how shapes my nails and the end result was beautiful. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I booked online for shellac mani and pedi, but after my pedicure, I decided to bio gel manicure. They were very accommodating and worked past closing time, and my nails look fabulous!

FIRST & LAST time here 150$ for the ugliest nails I’ve ever had She didn’t clean them properly, cut them too short and made them too thick. And she couldn’t even do the design.

Good spot, very clean and hygienic. Went with a buddy for Mani/Pedis and had a great time and conversation with the staff. On the pricier side, but you get what you pay for
