Dar es Salaam (from Arabic: دار السلام‎ Dār as-Salām, "the house of peace"; formerly Mzizima) is the former capital as well as the most populous city in Tanzania and a regionally important economic centre.[2]Located on the Swahili coast, the city is one of the fastest growing cities in the world.[3]

It hub for many busses to go to various places in the city. You can technically start your journey here and reach your destination with little hustle. But if you are new in town people are kind and you can just ask any one the buss you should board to go where you want to.

there are two bus stand at posta a new called posta mpya and old called posta ya zamani, posta ya zamani bus stand is nearly of the sea and new is center of the city near of mkapa towel building

Always crowded and bustling city center. If you take the daladala, be aware of the pick pockets. Met them once.

You can start your journey here and probably reaching any destionation in Dar.
