Let me start by saying I suffer from severe and chronic back pain, and waiting for a knee replacement, so standing for long periods is very difficult and painful. That said, before my attempt today, my 3 previous visits to this Post Office entailed waiting between 45 minutes and 1 1/2 hrs to get to the counter. With no places to sit, they made for very painful experiences. Most of the customers ahead of me spent between 20 minutes to 1/2 hour. Changing addresses, sending multiple faxes, and sending multiple money transactions overseas for one client, who didn't understand how it worked. All of my trips to this Post Office were to pick up packages. My total time at the counter was about 1 minute. Tried to go again today to pick up a package. There was about 15 people ahead of me. I stood in line for 10 minutes in the mall. No one in the front of the line moved in that time. I gave up and left. They could better organize the flow by setting up an express side, for picking up packages, buying stamps, and picking up registered mail, which takes an average of 1 minute to complete. That would ease the wait time people have to endure for customers with complicated transactions to complete.

Le pire service postal que J'ai subi. Voici mon problème il ya de cela quelques semaines je decide de poster une petite boite pour l'extérieur du Canada. Arrivé au comptoir on me demande d'apposer l'étiquette battery lithium compte tenu que je postais un cellulaire et autres choses. D'après l employe il y aurait aucun problème a livrer le colis je prends aussi une assurance. En total je paie 150$ rassuré je retourne chez moi. Quelques semaines plutard je suis surpris qu'on allait retourner mon colis. Arrivé au comptoir malgré qu on m'ait deja fait dépenser 150$. on exige 20$ de plus pour récupérer mon colis. Ayant pas eu le choix je décide de payer pour récupérer ma boîte. En conclusion j'ai perdu 170$ et mon colis n a jamais atteint sa destination malgré l'urgence. A cause de l incompétence de l'employé ou peut être une male formation de celui-ci. Il aurait pu simplement refusé mon colis avant que celui parte dans le vide. Je suis déçu de Poste Canada et je compte plus poster a l'international avec ce comptoir

I had to call Customer Support when the Registered Mail letter I had sent did not request a signature. The agent kindly explained that the Post Office clerk (on my receipt, it names Celine) was supposed to inform me that due to COVID, they are not requesting signatures right now. Well, the clerk did not inform me of this, otherwise I wouldn't have paid for the service. Thankfully, the agent is sending me a refund check. All this because the clerk did not do her job as she should have. On top of that, I wished her to have a nice day and she said nothing. Not friendly whatsoever. Never been disappointed about a Post Office until now.

Absolutely dreadful service from Canada Post from start to finish. The mailman left a delivery notice in my mailbox even though I was home all day, didn't even bother to ring me up. The next day I get an e-mail saying my package is at the community post office at 12:30. I go to the post office at 1:30, wait 30 minutes! in line, 30!... just to have them tell me my package isn't there. The older staff moves at a snail's pace, the younger ones are much better. Ladies, it's time to retire, your heart just isn't into the job. Just go ride into that sunset and let some young blood take over.

Le pire comptoir postal ! J'ai fait envoyer un télécopieur de 6 pages par un avocat pour un cas à la Régie du logement . Je téléphone le jeudi 26 janvier pour savoir si on avait bien reçu mes copies et l'employé me confirme qu'ils les a dans les mains. Bien le lendemain, devinez quoi?! Je vais chercher mes copies reçues, le lendemain matin, soit vendredi le 27 janvier Et , on a tous perdu les 6 copies!!! Aucun employé sait où sont disparu les 6 copies de l'avocat. Je n'ai jamais vu un aussi piètre service d'un comptoir postal Plainte officielle sera déposée à Postes Canada !!

Super service au bureau de poste canada au Pharmaprix Lachine! Les employés sont souriants et le service est impeccable. La file de client est souvant longue mais c’est normal parce qu’il n’y a qu’un seul bureau de poste à Lachine. Il devrait avoir au moins un autre bureau de poste à Lachine pour faire diminuer le nombre de clients. Malgré la situation difficile, les employés prennent le temps de bien servir chacuns des clients. Soyez patient et vous verrez, les employés seront là pour vous aider!

I had a package delivered to my place yesterday. I'm a little confused why I received a slip with instructions to pick up my package the next day, after 1pm, because my building has a Post Canada parcel drop box. When I arrived, at 5pm, this is the line I had to wait in (see photo). I waited 40 minutes before being served - they were extremely slow. Then to make matters worse, my package wasn't entered in their system. Which means it was never delivered to their location, as instructed.

Terrible service, l'employer est très arrogant. Au lieu d'écouter ce qu'on lui demande l'employé "M" nous force à prendre d'autres options plus chère en nous "menaçant" que: "SI ça passe pas ça va être refusé et vous aller devoir payer plus cher" . Si ça passe pas et je paye 2 fois, c'est MON problème PAS le tien. Tu peux me recommander, mais arrêtes d'insister et être arrogant. Par contre, chapeau à la dame qui travail là la semaine, toujours un bon service de sa part!

Oct 28: Clerks take their time, move slow, chat with eachother and work together to solve one customer's request. Multiple reviews say the same because clearly this really is one of the worst Canada Post outlets. Two ladies providing a horrible experience to customers. Nov 5: SIX OUT OF FIVE STARS for the young man working the counter on Saturdays!! Fast and friendly service. This kid single handedly put my faith back in this outlet. Thank you! In and out in 1 minute.

Terrible service client, le mardi 19 oct 2022. Le comportement de la dame au poste canada était vraiment décevant , elle était occupé a regarder son téléphone au lieu de faire son travail de répondre au client , c est après poser la question pour la deuxième fois qu elle va te répondre en regardant son téléphone. Elle a mis la boite dans l etagere pour l envoie , elle tourne sans vous dire que c est fini . Merci poste canada pont Champlain

Service exécrable samedi 20 août 2022. Je n’ai jamais eu aucun problème avant et Dieu sait combien j’utilise leur service ! Le commis n’était pas capable de savoir la différence entre une enveloppe pré-payée et une enveloppe achetée chez Postes Canada !!!??? De plus, je lui donne une enveloppe et l’autre commis qui ne savait pas pourquoi je la lui donnais… ma chouette pour savoir combien ça coûte et y mettre un timbre !

je viens de me taper la pire frustration depuis que je suis à Lachine nous faire attendre en ligne pendant un temps fou pour nous dire que la poste est fermée sans aucun renseignements quant à la réouverture de celle-ci et surtout des excuses fallacieuses sans réel fondement en ce qui concerne cette fermeture...Service incompétent surtout depuis le COVID (qui a le dos large)

Je donne une etoile parceque google ne permet pas de donner moins que ça. Personnel antipathique, aucun sens du service client. On dirait qu'ils font ce travail sans rémunération. On leur demande une information qui ne figure pas sur leurs politiques, et refuse de nous répondre. Ce bureau de poste devrait fermé au plus vite.

the place is very convenient for Lachine residents!!! Yes, sometimes there are queues, but this is inevitable because so many people use the mail !!! Satisfied with the workers professional!!! Sometimes there are people who do not know why they came !!! they start writing on the spot because of them a queue is created !!!

The service here is atrocious. For a government owned postal company serving a large residential area, there is absolutely no excuse for the wait times and/or lack of staff. It's absurd. Expect long waits and incompetent staff. They would be better of closing this location and opening a real post office.

The waiting time is unbelievablly long!!! Whether you are for collecting a package or depositing a cheque you have to wait. Some customers take more than 15 minutes to finish because they have many transactions to complete. Canada post must find a radical solution for this. It's a big waste of our time.

J’ai eu affaire deux fois cette année avec eux. La première fois je vais chercher mon colis et avant de sortir du bureau de poste je constate qu’il m’ont donné le mauvais colis et la deuxième fois ils ont perdu mon colis .C'est des incompétents et en plus la fil d’attente est très longue …

I love these young people at the Post Office, However, they should become part of the Postal Union. They have all the responsibility of postal employees at a fraction of the pay and zero benefits. The ones who want to make a career at the post office should apply directly to Canada Post.

Horrible. Unmaintained store with potholes in the tile floor. Post office does not have the supplies it needs. Went 3 times to try and send a registered letter to no avail because they didn't have the stickers. Employees seem helpful enough but management needs to wake up.

Unfriendly and unprofessional. Made me wait in line for about 20 minutes just to ask a simple question ( Do they have an Authorization form?). Older lady had no idea what I was talking about, younger employee knew but had go and ask for help from another associate.

From when you walk in place looks run down. The pharmacy itself is a mess with horrible customer service. Canada post is no exception. Barely a smile and always bad service. If there is another Canada Post around you just go there and save yourself the headache.

Very Bad experience. We specifically asked for tracking number and were told there is a tracking number on it. Today they told us it's not a tracking number and the employee is new and did not understand. Very unprofessional service.

They gave the package to someone else who didn't have the paper for the delivery and most likely didn't have the proper address either on their driver's license. Canada Post somehow still gave them the package. Unreal.

Julie has been the best clerk there for the past couple years and is now the manager. She knows her stuff, is really fast and very competent. All the other clerks have also been friendly.

Staff usually very friendly but the place is too slow (always wait at least 10 minutes each time) and disorganized to recommend intentionally coming to this post office.

Be aware there is always a long wait in this post canada. It takes minimum 20 min every time. If you can, don't go there if is not for loosing your time.
