I can’t say enough good things about Carey and the process she implements in her practice. My partner and I have had multiple pieces designed and constructed by Carey over the past few years and each one is so unique, special and thoughtful. First of all, my custom engagement ring was absolutely perfect. She gave my partner all of the right recommendations and found the perfect stone to complete the vision. When I finally got to meet her when we were designing our bands I understood how comfortable and easy she was able to make the process. She is honest and kind and creates a low stress environment to casually figure out exactly what it is that you are looking for as her client. We had such a great experience we decided to get a custom necklace designed for my partners mother’s birthday. She was so nervous coming in as she didn’t know exactly what she wanted and had never had a custom necklace designed before. Carey was reassuring and asked all of the right questions to make her feel comfortable and at ease with the process. Her nerves were immediately erased and we had a lovely time designing what turned out to be the perfect necklace. Finally, Carey facilitated a somewhat short leadtime request right before our wedding when I decided I wanted to get my bridesmaids semi-matching emerald necklaces made for each of them. I’ll stop rambling now, TL:DR Carey is wonderful and she has cultivated a low pressure, comfortable experience when it comes to all sorts of jewelry creation needs.

I worked with Carey on an engagement ring. I thought it would be my partner who was floored when we first saw it, but it was also me. Just dazzling. I went to Carey because I knew that she brought an artistry to her work that vibed with me, and stood apart from the sea of gaudy or tacky or over-the-top flashy rings that are out there. But what sealed the deal for me is knowing I could trust her with a project that was really important to me, including holding onto family heirlooms in the process. I've had friends who were burned and/or frazzled through a similar process with other providers, and so it was knowing that I could trust Carey and her team in all aspects that made me feel so good throughout the process. I felt really taken care of. And, again, the final product was both unique and astounding. I really appreciate what the Posy team bring to this scene, and the experience that gave me.

When I started looking for engagement rings, I had no idea where to look for credible guidance. I booked a telephone consultation with a few places and when I spoke to Carey, I cancelled the others. Carey is an absolute pleasure to work with. She is so patient and explained the entire process, and for someone who is not a jewellery wearer - she made it easy to understand and not overwhelming. She responded timely through email correspondence and always confirmed details before moving onto the next step. Not only did she take time to thoroughly cover all the specifications (size, design, materials, etc), she also re-used my family heirlooms and added a personalized engraving, which is a nod to my heritage. I cannot thank Carey and her team enough for making a timeless piece, and I highly recommend using them.

I came to Posy looking for a custom redesign of my grandmother’s engagement ring into something I could wear on my wedding day to complement my own rings. Carey's approach to redesigning my heirloom piece was incredibly thoughtful, and Cristina was wonderful at keeping us up-to-date with milestones as the project progressed. They were even able to preserve the inscription from the original ring and incorporate it into my new band, making it extra special. Working with Carey & the Posy team was such a fun and collaborative process, and I absolutely LOVE my updated ring! I honestly couldn't have imagined how beautifully it would all turn out. My fiancé and I were looking for someone to rework his mother's and late father's wedding bands into a set of our own. Carey was so patient and went back and forth on the design for weeks until we came up with something we absolutely loved. With all of the metal and stones from the old rings, we were also able to create a matching pendant for me to wear with my wedding dress and a second plain gold wedding band that I could wear to work! The pieces are all so beautiful and hold so much sentimental value. The Posy Team is absolutely amazing! I had a great experience with designing a custom sapphire engagement ring. Carey helped me one on one, carefully integrating my design ideas, style, budget, and timeline, and providing me with several options at each step. She was patient and personable, and made sure I was able to see multiple line ups of stones in the colour varieties that I was interested in. The final ring exceeded my expectations!

I worked with Carey on the re-setting of my Great Grandmother's sapphire and diamond ring. She listened to what I wanted and created something reminiscent of the original, but more modern and with a practical element as well.
