I am new to the area and this will be my new dentist. There are three main things I look for in a dentist. 1. Good standard of care. 2. Integrity. 3. Value. This dental surgery has all of the above. The reason I changed to them is that my old dentist is far away now. I was worried I wouldn't find anyone as good. I was very pleased with Dr Jun's approach. He understands that not everyone knows a lot about teeth and explained everything in a way I could understand. He did a thorough scale and clean without causing pain and was always careful to make sure I was comfortable. Outstanding. The really important thing for me too was that he wasn't trying to manufacture a profit. I have experienced this kind of unscrupulous behaviour before with other dentists. If anything, Dr Jun was trying to steer my fears clear from unnecessary treatments, or other dental devices. Absolutely fantastic. The price I will let them speak for themselves. Oral exam $65 Scale and clean $130 Fluoride treatment $40 X-Ray x 2 @ $45 ea $90 If you don't know which dentist to go to in Prahran, you won't go wrong if you go here. The staff monitor their online enquiries and will respond as well. Like the other reviewers I highly recommend them.

Incredible team. Polite, friendly, professional and impeccable at what they do. They are always kind, and transparent about costs (which I think are actually very reasonable as far as dental work is concerned). I had three cavities filled and they are hands-down the best fillings I've ever had. The cost was clear before-hand, Dr. Kim was gentle but extremely thorough. They don't feel raised or uneven, he explained throughout the process what he was doing and why. He continued to check in with me. Likewise, with my crown prep. Reassuring and positive throughout. His assistant was also thorough and always present to ensure suction was present, I had rinse ready and sunglasses if I wanted them. She had a tissue ready after rinsing. And the receptionist is always smiling, happy and gentle. If you're looking for a dental clinic, look no further. They're absolutely fantastic. Thanks so much, all of you.

By far the best experience I have had at a dental clinic. Dr.Jun and Dr.Julie couldn’t have been more welcoming and made the overall experience very comfortable. Dr.Jun was incredibly thorough in the quality of service I received and he also took the time to explain everything to me throughout the service in a very clear and comprehensive manner. Dr.Jun also made sure I was aware of the price of each service (examination; cleaning; X-Rays etc.) before asking if I wanted to continue. This was a huge plus for anyone without health insurance wanting to visit a dentist but nervous about the price! I knew exactly what to expect when paying the bill at the end of my appointment and I couldn’t be happier with the quality of service I received. I highly recommend Prahran Family Dental.

I’m super obnoxious and annoying when it comes to things that make me anxious and uneasy. The staff and Dr. Kim dealt with myself and my wisdom teeth removal extremely well. Dr. Kim was patient but stern enough to push me in the direction I was avoiding for so long (it had to be done!) My procedure was quick, and painless (get the “laughing gas”). The staff members were quick to respond to my emails and showed care and consideration even after my appointment. I’m super pleased and very happy to have finally gotten all of my wisdom teeth removed. Can’t thank these guys enough and look forward to seeing them again.

I had Dr Julie, and I must say, she is the nicest dentist I ever had. I usually dislike dentists because they tend to be a little stand-offish, but she isn't anything like that! She's incredibly friendly and meticulous in her work. I also like that she quotes the prices before asking permission to proceed with something (the other dentists I went to never did that). The nurse (who's also called Julie) is also extremely friendly and approachable and I just love the atmosphere of the clinic. Highly, highly recommend this place! Glad that I finally found my go-to dentist in Prahran :)

I really enjoyed my experience at this dental clinic. I had been putting off getting my wisdom teeth out and finally decided to bite the bullet and have them removed at this clinic. All interactions were really positive and friendly. Dr Jun was really kind and considerate of my nervousness . The clinic set expectations well and also followed up with me a few times after the extraction to ensure everything was healing well - which felt very thoughtful. For as long as I'm living in this area, this will be my dentist.

I was looking for a dentist closer to home when I came across Prahran Family Dental. The clinics receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. I was seen by Dr Julie for a routine check up and clean. She was friendly, informative, patient and completely approachable. Not only that, but she is thorough with her work and took the time to answer all my questions and provide me with good advice to keep my teeth healthy. I have found my new regular dentist and couldn't be happier.

별점 10개 드리고 싶어요. 몇개월 동안의 임플란트 치료 잘 끝냈어요. 제 성격이 좀 까탈 스러운 편인데 호주에서 받은 진료치고는 대 만족합니다. 호주인 덴탈도 염증때문에 다녀봤는데 만족하진 못했어요. 프라한 패밀리케어 선생님이 젊으신데도 실력은 오랜된 선생님 못지 않으시고 정말 꼼꼼 하세요. 제 치아상태가 많은 치료를 받아야 하는상태인데 당장 급한 치료를 추천해주셨고 한국가서 천천히 치료 받아야 되는 부분도 설명해 주셨어요. 진료 받을때 어시스트분도 편하게 잘 응대 해주셨어요. 단 립셉션 두분이 계신데 한분은 친절 하세요. 한분은 통화할때도 듣질 않으시고 자기말만 하시네요. 저는 이 치과를 한인 커뮤니티에서 알게 됐고 글 올리신분들께 질문을 했는데 답은 듣질 못했어요. 신랑 가게 근처라서 이 치과를 선택한거구요. 제 후기가 누군가에게 도움이 되길바라는 마음입니다. 처음 가시는분은 병원옆에 2층 쇼핑센타 주차장(유료)에 주차하시면 편하실 거예요.

I recently had some white fillings replaced by Dr Kim, this was my first visit and the whole team made me feel very welcome, they are incredibly kind and professional and their fees are not as high as all of the other dentists I have previously visited. The work he did on my front teeth was not easy but he managed to make the fillings almost unnoticeable. I will be back to have some more dental work done very soon. Thank you!

Dr. Jun is amazing at what he does. He ensures he explains everything and addresses all your concerns with a practical approach. I was always worried about the costs what shows up on google while researching and felt this place is reasonable priced. I am glad I found them. The staff are great too, especially with someone who has a lot of anxiety when going to a dentist, this place aims at making you feel calm.

Had my teeth cleaned at this dental clinic few months ago. Before the treatment, I told Dr Jun Kim that my teeth were very sensitive, so Dr. Jun Kim did his best to make it less painful, not like the other rough dentists who just want to finish everything as quickly as they can. The whole treatment was done thoroughly and the staff were friendly as well, highly recommend this dental clinic.

Going to the dentist for me was never a favorite thing to do. But I was amazed at how gentle and thorough Dr. Jun Hyun Kim was. His team is very friendly and professional, and going to the dentist is no longer something I dread. He takes the time to explain what he is doing. Definitely the best dentist I've ever visited. I don’t ever post reviews on google but I felt like this one was very much deserved. I could not recommend Dr Jun Kim enough! He is fantastic and the staff are so friendly as well. I’ve recently had multiple deep fillings done as well as wisdom teeth removal and they have exceeded expectations. The wisdom teeth removal was so quick and painless and recovery was fine - no issues at all.

Helpful and cheery staff and Dr Kim is great - very thorough and great at explaining what is happening and why. Overall a great experience, especially for someone who hadn’t been to the dentist for a while. Highly recommend. If you are a HCF member and have dental cover you will also get your basic checkup, clean and X-rays covered with no excess!

Staff here were helpful and friendly. Dr Jun was considerate of my anxieties around the dentists chair, was very informative and friendly in delivering information about the procedure and post op care. The pricing was very fair and the great team followed up to make sure I was well once I’d made it home. Would definitely recommend.

Easily the best dental clinic I've been to. Dr. Jun Hyun Kim was really gentle and friendly - as were the staff. I've always been pretty tense when going to the dentist but I ended up just feeling really calm. I think just because they communicate everything they're doing and are willing to answer any question in detail.

Caring and kind. My first visit and was made to feel relaxed. Had an excellent consultation, exam and clean. Having sensitivity in some of my teeth was amazed at how little discomfort I felt and what an amazing job Dr Jun did! Highly recommend this practice.
