Precision Auto Tech, under the guidance of George, is the most honest, knowledgeable repair shop I have ever incountered ...bar none! I was a military man having moved city to city over several years and in that time have engaged services from a vast number of repair shops along the way. From BC to NS know one has ever explained my vehicle issues, how they can affect my vehicle, with best price/options for the repair and all while ensuring the vehicle is repaired by qualified mechanics and safe for the road on completion of the work requested. No hidden costs, only work requested is completed however, George will inform you of any other issues found by his staff, but in no way forces you the have that work/repair completed without consent. To assist in my review of George, and his business..I also trained as a mechanic and worked the floor for 13 years. I still work in the field although at a desk. With this knowledge I can say, George has never tried to upsell, inflate, or provide false information with regards to the repairs required to my vehicle, unless it is a safety issue and needs to be addressed. To sum up...Precision Auto Tech is the ONLY place I take my vehicle repair work to and I suggest whomever is reading this do the same. You won't regret it!

I have been coming to Precision Auto Tech for several years and would like to share with everyone of how wonderful my experience has been. I found all these qualities here with George and John (Johnny). This is wonderful family run establishment which truly reflects how they treated and greet all customers. Always polite and smiling. I can say with full confidence that when I bring my car in, that both Johnny and George and their staff will have my best interests at heart. Last year I have been getting their help to pin point issue with my Tiguan and George assessment was bang on, this speaks to his years of experience. On some visit, the diagnose was done as a courtesy which truly shows that they truly want to help their customers. I was always on the lookout for an honest place that gives me the real story without adding on things for the sake of it. I am really happy that I have found this place. George really cares about customer experience and care and his team does as well. I went there for a general checkup and to replace my car brakes. They explained to me very clearly my options and their recommendations. I was caught off guard when I realized that I couldn't use the windshield washer on the used car I bought a few weeks back. I wanted to find a place that could take care of it right away, since it's a safety issue. I'm new to the area so I didn't know where to go, but I saw that the reviews for this place are very good so I tried it. They were able to take care of my problem that same afternoon, even though they needed to order a part. It cost me less than what I was expecting, and the service was friendly and professional. I was kept in the loop the whole time, and it didn't feel like I was being talked down to, which can be a problem when you're a woman. I recommend it, and I'll be certain to go there in the future for maintenance and repairs.

Had an extremely horrible experience. Extremely bad with the appointments. Had it scheduled to be done within the hour, then turned out to be 4 hours. Even after that, the issue was not fixed. Extremely unprofessional, and they will use your time up with no actual problem resolved on the vehicle. Value for money is horrible, and extremely overpriced. The quality of the work was by far the worst issue. The manager/owner will just try to take as much money as he can from you, while lying about the actual issue. Got sent around to get parts when a mechanic is supposed to order them instead. Would never recommend them for anyone wanting to get their car repaired.

In March 2020, I brought my pregnant wife to an ultrasound appointment in my 2005 Honda Civic SI Coupe. After the appointment my car would not start. I was near by on North Cleopatra Drive. Surrounded by mechanic shops I called 3 places and all declined to help me even though I was less than 1KM away. I called Precision Auto and he drove up right away with a booster pack. Boosted my car for me. I then followed him back for the 60 second drive to his shop. He changed my battery right away. My wife and I could get going on our way. Really appreciate the help that day. Also the previous Honda Battery lasted 11 years. I guess it was time to change it after all.

Thorough and trustworthy. That's my overall feeling about these gents. On the basis of their relationship with the Miata club, I took my Miata in for some relatively big preventative maintenance - timing belt/water pump etc. While they were in there, they replaced various other inexpensive seals and belts that would have eventually caused me problems. Without me asking they kept the old parts to show me. They took the time to explain what was done and why. They took my little comments about noises I had heard seriously and followed up. These are all actions that show integrity and professionalism. I couldn't recommend them more highly.

Six years ago, one person who used to worked as an auto technician advised me to fix my car in Precision Auto Tech. “Go to George” - she said - “I never met more honest technician”. I've been coming to PA since Lorzenzo opened the place up decades ago. George is in charge now, and he's always been incredibly helpful to me and my family. He's always straight with me about what my cars need, and what they can do without in the meantime. For example; I just got my brakes done, but need to get my wheel bearings changed. Knowing the tough economic times, George gave me a timeline for long I can wait before doing that repair. Having a good/trustworthy mechanic is as important as having a family doctor/physiotherapist imo, and George at Precision Autotech has long earned my trust.

Didn't get repairs done perseh, came in asking for directions to a place on a different part of Cleopatra. Who knew they didn't connect? I couldn't remember the guys name. He was on the taller and bigger side with thick hair and a beard. But that guy was super pleasant, treated me as if I was a customer, and really went above and beyond although I wasn't a patron. He showed me on his phone where I needed to go, wrote down directions and gave me a business card saying if I still couldn't find it to call right away and he would guide me again. Whoever runs the company please tell him thank you.

This is the best shop I've been to in Ottawa. They might not be as cheap as your buddy Mike who does auto work on the side, but they're very honest, reliable, and you can tell they take pride in their work. Their prices are more than fair and their quality is top notch. They will tell you about other issues they saw or what they feel will be the next part to fix. They went above and beyond for me and really took care of my car when it was in rough shape and I'll be using them from now on.

This is the garage I've been searching for. George is honest and great explaining why things happen and why and when they need to be fixed or replaced. I've been coming here for a few years now and I always recommend thier sevices to anyone. He has done large repairs such as swapping in a new transmission and clutch and the price was better than other service centers and they had it done ahead of schedule. I am extremely happy. Amazing experience, went in with only 1 hour left in the day and saw George because I had an exhaust problem, Not only did they fix it then and there, but in a timely manner , for an amazing price!! The owner himself took off to get the parts I needed wich is rare these days! Overall amazing people working there very kind Lady at the front desk! George, the owner, has been nothing but professional with me and I would not hesitate to recommend his shop to all my friends and family members. Even though the brake service was done by the previous owner, yet the part was under warranty, Precision autotech managed to get part vendor to warranty the part and the service I was quoted for $1020 at another shop, cost me a meager $94. Got a lifted truck aligned here. I wanted one setting "out of spec" and the techs knew what I was trying to achieve with 4° caster. A couple of the guys own lifted rigs so it was easy to speak the same language. I'm going back in a couple weeks to do another truck. They came recommended though the mechanics at Honest wrench .

Hard to find honest mechanics and who do great work. Was directed here by a friend (also a mechanic) who - if needed - would use them to work on his own cars. Directed here because they do alignments which friend does not have equipment to do. Super impressed. Johnny was my representative/mechanic.

I wont allow anyone else but these hard working and honest folks to maintain my fleet. Even during the covid they used clear communications to tell me the progress of the repairs, tell me if something can wait or needs immediate attention, and all in all the cost is more then reasonable.

Their shop was friendly and supportive when I was having car trouble. They took the time to explain exactly what was wrong with the vehicle and made me feel very comfortable which doesn’t always happen as a female who requires a mechanics help. Definitely using them again!

Had my car towed here not knowing anything about this garage but am thankful that this is where I ended up. George and his crew went above and beyond to help me and charged me an extremely fair price. They worked fast and got me back on the road quicker than I expected.

CAA told me I needed a new battery Brought my car into George and Nick; they checked it cleaned the terminals and told me the battery was fine . Many other garages would have sold me a new battery and probably a new alternator for good measure. The best.
