Greg has provided excellent service. I first visited several months back when I had a flat tire, which he fixed promptly. At the time, he gave me a small list of fixes my bike could use if I returned when we both had time. Several months later, I had an issue with my seat and took the bike in again, and Greg once again provided quick service without me even having to call in advance. He didn’t even charge me for the seat fix. I then mentioned that I remembered he had given me a list of potential fixes the last time I was in, and he pulled up the list himself, after all that time! We scheduled a time for me to drop my bike off for a more in-depth inspection, after which he provided honest guidance about which fixes he thought were most important and which he thought I could get by without. Everything was finished soon after. He’s respectful and efficient; I highly recommend his services.

I'm so excited there is finally another bicycle repair shop in the Mt. Vernon Square area - Precision Bicycle Services. It's in an unusual spot but easy enough to find with the address - 5th and New York. Greg is very professional and was able to repair my flat and add a new tire, as well as fix my handle grips and tighten a loose rack. I wasn't in a rush so left my bike overnight and received a text from Greg the next day telling me I could pick up. Prices seemed reasonable.

Greg is just like everyone here says - a nice guy who gets to it quickly and professionally. I bought a fixed up bike from Velocity recently (another place I recommend), which was set up almost perfectly except that the seat was angled up - very uncomfortable. I somehow made it all the way into town and resolved to have it adjusted, and Greg did that job and asked for no payment (I bought an energy bar off him as thanks). He's the real deal.

I have taken my road bikes to Greg's bike shop multiple times over the years for annual tuning, minor fixes, and a bike assembly. Greg is extremely knowledgeable and competent, very thorough in his work, punctual and reliable, and very patient in answering all my random questions. Having used several bike shops in the DC area, I believe that Greg is, by far, the best one. I highly recommend Greg at Precision Bicycle Services.

Took it in for a repair when the back tire popped while commuting to DC. Found this shop on Google maps and it's a basement location but the guy Greg has a full shop and fixed the tire along with making some adjustments that wasn't aware of that is helpful. Highly recommended and if ever needed repairs, I would definitely stop there

I was so happy to find this place tucked away in the basement of the Washington News Company building on 5th. I walked in with a flat and the owner was working on another bike, stopped everything and very rapidly fixed my bike while I was waiting (less than 10 minutes). Very professional and reasonably priced for DC. I'll go again.

Thank goodness for this bike shop! I had a little fall on my commute home knocked the seat post crooked. I tried to fix it myself but just made it worse. Thankfully this shop was open and in walking distance! They were super nice and repositioned the post and adjusted my saddle for free! That’s good people.

Highly recommend going here for your bike needs. I am more of a casual biker and am still learning a lot about maintenance. The owner was incredibly helpful and with one look was able to identify the issue i was having and resolve it. The owner is really kind and knowledgeable! I would recommend this shop.

I made an appointment over a week in advance; he confirmed via email. Told me to call before bringing my bike in during a certain time window on that weekday. I called three times before and during the time window. I’ve never gotten a call back. I’m not sure if he’s even open.

Giving Precision Bicycle Services 5 Stars is not enough!!! I don’t let anyone touch my bike, but Gregory, because my bike is worth more than my car. If you want a great mechanic who know what they are doing to work on your bike, Gregory is that mechanic!!!!

I was not lucky on my first visit to the shop. I needed some help to fix my pedal but I was told they would not be able to fix it until at least one month later. I eventually got it fixed somewhere else and the work took only 10 minutes.

They have the most knowledgeable mechanics I have ever met. They always shoot straight when telling me what's going on with my bike and never recommend things I don't need. My bike functions like new every time it's serviced there.

Well it’s best to call first to see if they are open. I went at 10:40 and it didn’t open til 12. They don’t service e-bikes. It’s not bad getting bikes up the steps
