Extremely disappointed in how bad of a job they did for the amount of money they scammed me out of. There is too much that went wrong to tell the full story so here is a list in order to keep it brief. 1 They gave me a quote that was absurdly high. 2 They were supposed to sand the walls, but it does not appear that that happened before painting. 3 They stopped calling me to inform when workers were coming. 4 They spent 2 days breaking and entering my apartment by leaving the door open and letting themselves in without my knowledge. 5 They sent a picture of my floors gleaming and beautiful- but in reality- I could have saved thousands by using Murphy’s oil soap myself. 6 After removing my custom shades to paint- they threw them in a trash pile in a back hallway. When they finally figured out where they were- 2 were ripped beyond repair. 7 Instead of ladders, they used my furniture to reach high spots. 8 They lost shelves from a closet. 9 I pulled a 5 inch paint snake from the drain in my kitchen after they cleaned their brushes in there. 10 They removed electrical covers and didn’t replace them. 11 They left garbage and stuff that was to be removed/ had to return several times just to keep fixing mistakes. I would highly recommend not using this company if you are interested in good contract work. Save yourself some money and let my mistake with hiring them help you make a better decision.

Absolutely abysmal service, and massively overpriced for the level of quality of work. I hired precision painting plus to paint the door and window frames of my storefront. I waited patiently for weeks to schedule my project. Only after bothering them twice did they bother to explain that they were waiting for the weather to warm up. Throughout the process there was a lack of communication, with workers showing up unannounced at times when my store was closed, despite being told repeatedly that we open at 11:00am. According to the contract I signed, they were supposed to: 1. Machine sand the original paint before beginning work. They did not. 2. Clean up when they were done. They did not. They left a mess on my sidewalk and flecks of paint and primer on my windows. 3. Conduct daily walkthroughs and a final walkthrough with the project manager to ensure my satisfaction. The project manager, John, did not show up for a single day of work. Because they did not machine sand the original coat, the coloring on the frame is uneven. There are also weird streaks of green coloring on several parts (the paint is yellow). When I pointed these out to John over text (because he was not present), he said the painter would remain to do touchups, and if I still was not satisfied they would add a third coat. Not wishing to give them any more of my money, I decided to leave it at that.

UPDATE: I have to adjust my rating (see original glowing review below). After a few weeks, the paint began to crack. The walls had been inadequately sealed and now the moisture inside was ruining the paint job. To Precision's credit, they never pushed back or said they wouldn't repair it (they eventually did for no charge). However actually getting someone to schedule time to come back and work on it took about six months of texts, phone calls and following up on unreturned emails. Was this worth the lower price? I suppose. But I also can no longer stand behind my initial five-start rating. I also don't know if I would use them again. All things even, I would probably try another painter for my next project. ORIGINAL: Hamilton did an excellent job! My bathroom was in rough shape, bad air circulation had done terrible damage. After years, the moisture destroyed the paint and plaster underneath. Plus water damage from leaks in the apartment above mine. So Precision had their work cut out for them. Their bid came in significantly below others which made me worry I would "get what I pay for" but they did a great job. They did not just paint over the problem. Hamilton carefully repaired and sealed the plaster before doing an excellent job of painting. I'm very happy with the work!

I do not suggest using them kind of disappointing because I found them on google due to the good reviews . But I just noticed that they only replied to the good one and not the bad one which show that customer service is not a priority to them. I had an estimate done for my business (2 floors) the guy they send A.B came in walk on each floor and after 4 minutes was gone barely asked me any questions . I never received an estimate . Mind you when he was in the office I explained to him I needed an answer in the next 2-3 days . After a week I send him and the company requesting an estimate no one replied . 2 days later I got an email for a follow from my estimate (JOKE I NEVER GOT IT ) so I replied and someone send it , to my surprise and let me tell everyone that company is a true rip off ( they wanted $18 000 for the job and even claim that they applied a $2 000 discount) . I had 4 estimate done for the same job , I found each company on google , 1 was for $10 000 - 1 for $12 000 (5 star Painting ) and 1 for $11 000 . We decided to go with 5 star because they were on point but stay away from Precision Painting TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE

They did a fantastic detailed job painting our living room, hallway, and both bedrooms. We had particular details like a column and window boxes that we wanted to be painted the trim color - they executed it perfectly. We also had an electrician come through prior, and they had to patch up a variety of holes, which they did perfectly. There was some error in communication with the hallway color, but they quickly corrected it and didn't charge for the paint they didn't use. I got a few quotes for this job and picked them because their quote was reasonable, but also because they noticed important details in the estimate. Overall, I'd highly recommend them - they aim to do an excellent job, will communicate with you to clear up any issues/concern and strive to make sure you are satisfied.

Ross and his team did a fantastic job. They painted my 3 bedroom apartment, refinished my parquet flooring and restored parts of it that had been damaged, painted my kitchen cabinets, replaced the kitchen backsplash, glazed the bathroom, and replaced the bathroom medicine cabinet and vanity. I had originally planned a gut renovation of my kitchen and bathroom but my co-op board wouldn't allow it. Ross helped my figure out what I could do to update the kitchen and bathroom to get 80% of what I wanted without having to go to the board, and for 20% of the cost the renovation would have been. His team was responsible, efficient, thorough, and very nice. Great experience over all, highly recommend!

My husband and I hired them to Paint our living area, dining area, kitchen, halls and two bedrooms. We also had them install and paint a chair rail in our dining area. We were extremely happy with their work. We noticed a couple areas that needed touching up after, but they were very accommodating and had no problems returning to do the touch ups. We were also very happy that they were able to get the whole job done in two days! I definitely plan on using them again when I'm ready to paint my third bedroom and bathrooms.

Overall i was really happy with the work from Precision Plus. They were good to deal with from start to finish. They got the work done quicker than expected which was good. It was a bit rushed in places and they missed a couple of small details but came back to address them. It was a 1 bedroom apartment so I left the apartment for them to work otherwise it was too cramped. If i had been on site then i am sure they would not have missed anything. A very professional company and I would use them again.

I was very impressed with my experience with Precision Painting. We wanted one room painted with a limewash treatment. Matt, the PM, was very professional, responsive and efficient. Rick, the artist who did the work, was really great. He and his team did the project over 2 days and it looks amazing. The quote was not the lowest one we received but we chose Precision Painting because of the level of professionalism and were happy we did because of the high quality of work. We would hire them again.

An excellent experience , from getting the quote to the finished job. I had a large living room, a bedroom, two stairwells and a hallway painted. The sales rep came out to take a look and addressed my concerns about repairing water and construction damage before painting, the painting crew arrived on time and did a great job with minimal mess, and they finished ahead of schedule. The price was in line with other quotes I received. Communication before and throughout the job was exceptional.

We had the cornice, window trim and front door of our three story brick Brooklyn home scraped and painted by Precision Painting. They made the process smooth and simple. Juliana, the account manager, responded to all our questions and concerns quickly and efficiently. The different project managers came by every day to check on the workers progress and to confirm we were happy with the progress. The workers were friendly and accommodating. We were incredibly happy with our experience with Precision Painting. Our project manager was extremely responsive and helpful. We had to reschedule at the last minute because of issues with our house closing and they easily moved the painting to a new date. The painters arrived on time and did a stellar job at set up, painting & clean up. We added in doors & ceilings day-of and they still managed to finish before the estimated completion date. Would 100% hire again.

These guys are the best. We had a difficult painting and reno project that included painting elaborate Victorian style wood trim as well as walls, an unexpected leak repair that lead to a room being completely stripped to the studs and repaired and a bathroom tile job. They handle all of this with professionalism and all the men and women on the job, from the project manager on down, were lovely and professional. And they stayed on budget!! I highly recommend them!!

Lovely experience with Ross from Precision Painting Plus having parts of our office space painted. We didn't need whole rooms done, so we were able to work out a price for 2 painters for a block of time where we specified which walls, trim, and doors to paint. The guys securely covered and moved our furniture, brought all the paint and materials, and did a great job painting. We are very pleased and are using Precision Painting now for their power washing service.

I hired Precision to paint my new apartment and was very pleased with their service and the finished product. The Precision Painting team was incredibly communicative, punctual, and professional--from providing the initial quote to the final walkthrough and touchups. My second review in 3 months. It was an easy decision to call PPP for painting the living room. Andres and his team provide such high quality and efficient work. We love the new blue walls. The painter, Evert, was in and out in 4 hours, from prepping with drop cloths to out the door. He’s so skilled and precise that he didn’t even need painters tape. Truly impressive work!

Have used PPP for several jobs and always a great outcome. Most recently I totally renovated my space with new floors, design, hanging mirrors, wainscotting, painting, and wallpaper. Great experience using John and the friendly-yet-professional Brooklyn team. I had some residue stuck to all the walls in a small bedroom, and they were able to correct the issue and you would never know there was any problem. Very tidy--everything was cleaned up nicely when they left. They anticipated one day of work, and that's what it ended up being.

John and Jasser from Precision Painting Plus did a really nice job with repainting the interior and ceiling of my apartment. They patched up all of the cracks, dings, and did everything with great care for our floors and furniture. No paint was found on anything that it wasn't supposed to be on! Terrible service. I had an appointment one Friday at 2.30 to get a quote. The enployee cancelled that same day. We rescheduled for the following Monday. He called to say he would be 30 minutes late. This company can’t honor an appointment so it doesn’t bode well for their work. Highly unprofessional and disrepectful of their clients’ time.

Loved working with Precision! I hired them to remove the ugly 70's wallpaper in my bathroom, and paint the ceiling, walls, doors, and trim. Two coats later, and the space has completely transformed (it literally looks brand new). The guys were so professional and a pleasure to work with. Hired them to repair and paint parts of our ceilings/walls in our home. They were responsive with making appts, and they were fast and very clean with their work. I was super worried about too much dust all over our belongings but they were very good at covering things up and sweeping up afterwards. Would def recommend!

Precision did an excellent job doing light repair and painting the cornice of my brownstone. My only qualm was the long wait for the work to be done. To be fair, the company had to wait for the lift rental in order to do the job. I would recommend them for any similar job.

They've been calling me several times per day for the last three days from several different numbers. Annoyingly insistent on their sales.
