We used this trail as part of our bike tour from Gatineau to Oka and back around through the Laurentians. Most of it was very good, gets soft once and awhile but our loaded touring bikes with 32c tires had little problem. Lots of people out when you get near towns, nice to see. After the St Eugene Pavilion at Moore rd it's wise to get off an use the road to continue through to Rigaud, the rest of the trail to the border if very rough. The Rigaud end of the trail is clearly marked for ATVs and not bikes. Too bad. So great cycling corridor from Ottawa towards Mtl if you don't mind gravel. We used LRT to cross Ottawa with our bikes and got off at the Cyrville station then Innes to Anderson rds.

I thought it would be a nice quiet place outside the city to let the dog run around off leash but I was wrong. Way too many cyclists and you have to constantly look behind yourself every few seconds. I wish there were at least a few trails that cyclists can't go on. Other than that, the scenery is really nice

Site historique bien entretenu. Ressources visant à soulager les itinérants. Merci aux communautés religieuses et à leurs bénévoles. Historical site. Clean, well taken care of. Help for the needy. Thanks to the nuns and their volunteers.

I've been walking this trail with my family and dogs for several years. We love it all year round lots of wildlife spotted here including coyotes, fox, hare, snakes. Lovely to have a peaceful peace of nature right in the city.

Very linear so not much variation but you can walk your dog in the winter.Cycle it seems like forever it on map extends for 100km plus. So glad to have this natural resource so close by.Parking is free.

It's really nice to visit this trail in fall when leaves are changing colours! We enjoy seeing all beautiful colours! Will certainly visit again in the future.
