Normally I don’t leave a bad review, but I went to this place because of it’s good reviews, so I better share my experience. I called 10 minutes before to find out where in the mall they are. I showed up 5 minutes before my appointment and the lash artist, he begins to explain that there’s a little situation and that he cannot see me for 30-45 minutes because he took a client later that he thought he would be done. He then offered to call in another lash tech that would take 20 minutes to get there. He asked his current client if it was okay to do the removal at the same time and that’s what happened. He then proceeds to go to and from the both of us, which I was okay with. The first round he pulled out one of my natural lashes which caused some discomfort, but it happens. The second time he was a bit more rough with my lashes which caused the fumes or gel solution he used to start stinging my eyes. The whole time he is mumbling under his breath, another unprofessional thing for him to do. His client asked him if he was done, which he was shortly after. He took off my eye pads, only wiped my eyes and said you’re done. I tried to open my eyes and it instantly burned. He told me go to the bathroom and I had a very hard time finding it because I could barely open my eyes and I had to further bring my eyes discomfort by opening up to locate the bathroom. After I rinsed my eyes out, he sure made sure that I paid though. I’m disappointed. Edit: The lash tech ended up calling me the next day and apologized, offered me 25% off my next fill, but then did ask me to take this review off. After some contemplation, I decided to leave the review here. So, I did want to include an edit that there were some efforts after.

If you know anything about waxing rule one of hygiene is not to double dip the wax stick! Who knows what other people have on their skin and now it’s being transferred from the wax on to other peoples skin EWEEE!! Got my eyebrows done and didn’t change the wax stick once, another stylist came and got wax for another client and even used the exact same stick that was used on my face. I worry because he said most of his clients are also from the NWT and my not know about these hygiene standards! If you’re getting a brow tint done don’t bother if you’re blonde they only do dark dark brows. Also left with sticky eyelids from wax and wax in my eyelashes. Other than that the shape was done really well and the conversation was decent.

The lady didn’t know how to colour hair, charged 360. She was aware there was box dye in the ends, didn’t colour correct… bleached the roots with the ends… it was awful. Bright orange on top, was trying to go for copper. The one thing she did do right when we went back was colour the roots… I would have preferred a partial refund… she did the roots dark to try to conceal the mess with no charge. These photos don’t show how bad it was…

Worst hair cut ever!! I told her I wanted my hair evened out and I was trying to grow it out. I’ve never had my hair this terrible before ever I could cut my hair better than this I am not a fan of short hair neither but my layers are up to my chin. She totally screwed up my hair it’s going to take for ever to grow back. I’m so sad and was embarrassed having to walk around the mall with my hair.

My girlfriend came in to this business and a wonderful stylist named Davis did an absolutely amazing job for us. She left this business feeling beautiful and absolutely radiating happiness. I would recommend this place to absolutely anyone wanting to pamper themselves with a salon that is not only top tier in quality but very friendly pleasant and all around a shining example of excellence.

Prestige Lash & Beauty Bar is located in WEM at entrance 8. Tessa is absolutely fabulous, she is an incredible hair stylist who always creates magical styles for me. I get compliments everyday. They also do beautiful lashes (NovaLash) and carry wonderful products. I would highly recommend them

I got my hair wash and cut from here and when I left I had to go home and rewash my hair because it was not washed properly and get it recut because it was uneven, after paying $89 to get it done. Worst beauty experience I have ever had.

First time getting layers and absolutely loved it. Gowri was my hairdresser and she was kind and kept checking in with me as she cut! She was very gentle while doing my hair and did an amazing job. 10/10 would recommend

Tessa has done my hair for over 10 years. She usually just does whatever, and it comes out great. Have to go every month as my hair is supper thick. Love everything about this place. Thanks guys
