"I would rate this awful store 0 star if I could"

"HORRIBLE service and attitude from the cashier staff"
"An unpleasant experience with a refusal to help, a refusal to inform me as to why they wouldn't help"
Pharmacy staff are so kind and always welcoming very friendly. Rupa, Jasmine and Jun couldn't be more helpful and they really care about the customers. They are knowledgeable and will spend time with customers, happy to chat if they have time and never make their work seem like a chore. The only let down for this particular priceline is the floor manager. He's very rude to customers if they haven't left the store well before closing. He storms around giving horrible looks to customers and pharmacy staff if they are talking to customers. He shuts the doors early and won't let people in. When he isn't there the managers are so kind they don't push you out the door before closing time. He has practically escorted me to the exit when other customers have walked in minutes before. Staff don't leave the store immediately upon closing time so I don't see the big deal in closing before the set time. Given it's a pharmacy it should be open until the advertised closing time and not before.
I would rate this awful store 0 star if I could. I was bullied into buying one of their hairbrushes because the staff saw me "using" it. In fact I was pressing it lightly on my hair to measure if the width was the right fit for my hair length. There was no sign indicating this absurdity and it wasn't like I broke the package intentionally or anything. The rude salesman, who was of Indian or Middle Eastern origin and has name starting with an R, even went on to accused me of stealing after I refused to go along with their way of treating customers. I insisted to meet the manager and although she apologised for his behaviours, I doubt she was being genuine as she was struggling to hold her laughter towards her inferior. My gf told me to pay anyway because we did not have time for their bullshit. Needless to say that it was the last time I ever visited any Priceline store. They don't even have an email or anything to receive customers' complaints, what a joke.
Paid at the counter with my card. I saw “approved” on the machine. But the shop assistant insisted it didn’t go through even I told her it’s said approved. She looked hesitant after I paid again, so I asked if I paid twice. She explained that I was not getting the exact same amount of refund as I paid extra because she was just trying to refund one of the items I bought. I guess it’s the system problem, but I just wanted to know the amount I got refund. She got heat and said, “let’s refund all the things and do it again”. She didn’t ask my preferences and did it by herself. I stood there waiting, then went through the whole process. When I paid again, she educated me, “this is how it should be when you do the payment right.” If I didn’t do the payment “right” i won’t be there wasting my time. I told her again I did pay and did tell her that. But she just kept speaking, over my voice.
HORRIBLE service and attitude from the cashier staff. She dropped the product that I JUST bought to the floor and refused to change a new one for me. She came out and had a look then said "it was fine. It's not broken" .. I was like "Yes. But the lid was opened on the floor. I don't feel comfortable with it (It's a Vaseline)" She said "but you already bought it" so I said "but YOU dropped it" then she said "look. It's not broken. It's Vaseline. It's not liquid" ... I gave up. At that stage I know I was talking to a person with an awful attitude, no service mind and no responsibility. I wanted to tell that staff that "I don't care if it's a $2 or $200 worth item, I always take care of my stuff and don't drop it!!" ... ZERO star for you, Priceline. Disappointed. I'll seriously consider changing to a different pharmacy.
An unpleasant experience with a refusal to help, a refusal to inform me as to why they wouldn't help. They seem to think they are more important than my doctor as they refused to fill my prescription. Even though it was a valid script. And they wouldn't say why. Very authoritarian. They also lied to me. They locked the script into their own system then told me they had cancelled it But when I tried another pharmacy the script was invalid because they had not really cancelled it. I believe this was deliberate to inconvenience me. So I went one day without my medication thanks to them and wasref an hour and a half getting nothing but inconvenience and embarrassment So, unhelpful, dishonest unpleasant and really unprofessional. Do not go there if you have a choice
Had the best experience in shopping for some makeup here yesterday. Went here quite a lot but yesterday I was looking for a foundation and a staff in the makeup section was sooo helpful. She was so nice and genuine in helping me decide my shade. And she was also up for answering some other questions for another products, she even told me what went well with what and what her favourite products were. The cashiers were so friendly as well. I also think that this priceline has more stock available on more products, especially cosmetics. Whatever is on the website; they’d have it there. And this is probably the biggest Priceline store that I’ve been to and it’s just mmmuch more comfortable shopping here as there’s just so much space to move around and browse.
Today was the 40% off sale of all cosmetics. I came in straight from school excited to spend a lot of money that i probably shouldve been saving. I went in picked up some nude by nature brushes and real techniques. I was excited to get these cheaply bought. But unfortunetly at the counter only a few things counted in the sale. I was told real technique brushes and nude by nature brushes were not part of the sale.Leaving disapointed i was straight on to the website when i got home. Seeing that the nude by nature brushes actually were 40% off. First of all i was told they werent and second of all i wouldve loved to know why i was scammed. And there shouldve been signs saying the real tech were not on sale as it is false adverstising. Not a happy customer.
Don't bother coming here if you're Australian, Caucasian not Chinese or Vietnamese. Very racist toward Caucasians. Most staff are Vietnamese and Chinese here , and more Chinese and Vietnamese staff is taken. They treat Caucasian customers as third class citizens, being rude toward Caucasians while Chinese and Vietnamese are given friendly service and treated with respect. I went there just to watch to see how they behave toward Asians and how toward Caucasians after many of my friends told me they were subjected to racial discrimination at this Priceline store. Its Chinese Vietnamese manager is the worst.
I visit your pharmacy for the first time. I feel AFFRONTEDNESS. Before I pay, I ask about counter one man have any rapid antigen tests left? He start to say about me I saw you before buy already, I say I did come before this is my first time coming here. He don't believe me, I straight away to says if you don't trust me you do need to sell for me! But he still sell for me, then I pay on cash,I pass to him $50 ,he check the cash take long minute, check everywhere. I really don’t understand what he want ?!!! Feel everything its liar?!!!!!!! I’m pretty disappointed and made about this, to be honest.
There is not a single time when I come here and I am not followed by security guys. Today was the worse one. Leaving the shop, the guy asked me if he could check my bag. He checked and as soon as he saw my medicines, he asked me if I had the receipt for them. Of course, or I might be stealing antibiotics from Priceline... terrible. I’ll definitely not come here anymore. I’m not Australian, however I’m not starving here to need to commit burglaries. Also, your prejudice is disgusting. You guys do not deserve my money.
Worst security man I’ve ever seen. I paid the products by cash. And I didn’t take any receipts because I never take any receipt it’s just a waste. And he literally took me back to counter and he asked to counter “ did she paid for this” words by words. Infront of all the people. He legit look like a thief himself. Don’t he have a decent way to sort the things.I don’t recommend anyone to go there. Worst service ever. He legit makes us wait there for 15 minutes for nothing. Security man with beard.
I brought Aveeno baby shampoo and lotion for my son, i tried to look for the expiry date and i couldn't find it. However i took them knowing it is price line and wouldn't go wrong with the products. After using the products last evening my son had rashes and i carefully looked at the shampoo and lotion and it was expired last year. I went to the store today to return and cashier wasn't even sorry. very surprised how can price line sell Aveeno baby expired products??
I don’t really write review much . I went 18th July (sat) Afternoon . Today Sherry was really helpful. Thank you sherry :) I hope I got your name right .(she was working at the counter at that time:) In cbd there are many of Priceline . But I always come here . It’s one of big store . Staffs are helpful. And Long tome ago , I want to buy make up product but at that time out of stock . Manager and other Lovely staff (sorry forgot the name) were great too.
The Pharmacy Team at Priceline Bourke Street provide excellent customer service! In particular I must commend Rupa who always goes above and beyond to meet the needs presented at each visit — from remembering client history, to expertise on different medications, as well as recommending new and easy ways of filling prescriptions ie. the Priceline app, I have no inclination to go elsewhere. Would 100% recommend this Pharmacy!
sherry and the other asian lady working at the same time treated me with complete prejudice. after being served at the register by sherry, with the other asian lady coworking, i went back into the store to find my friends. both workers followed me back into the store and accused me of stealing for opening up the product i had JUST paid for in front of their faces. appalling behaviour. never coming back xoxo
would give it a zero star if it’s possible. really rude security. they treat you like thief. you can’t even wear your sunglasses in the store because they want the camera watching your face… never head of such disrespectful “rules” anywhere else. why would people shop here??! i didn’t feel comfortable at all and decided to go to a chemist warehouse nearby which provides much cheaper prices and nice staff.
We were three girls going in this store and the security guard decided to check only our bags regardless of other people and also took to the reception for the items i paid cash for it and just because I didn’t took the receipt doesn’t mean he can behave like that the thing i actually paid for it it was embarrassing and bad vibes from that guy i suggest no-one to go there. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.
A shocking experience in here today. Pharmacy assistant unhelpful, rude and made stigmatising remarks when I requested a common item available at other pharmacies. Didn't give me the chance to me to mention I am a pharmacist, so I know the product is available. My husband overheard her calling me 'crazy' for requesting the item, so don't expect respect or empathy from the back counter assistant.
The pharmacist, his name is Jun (work weekends) is an absolute legend. Very quick to dispense my medication and was able to take care of the payment without me having to checkout at the retail part of the pharmacy. Besides that, the place has alot of other products such as beauty products and some other products I can't get elsewhere. Probably the best pharmacy I've been.
Wow so many negative comments... this is the Priceline I always go to and I've never had any issues. I had help to choose the right shade of foundation. The lady that was helping me was lovely. I will say that the Nyx area can be quite crowded when there's sales so avoid going after work/peak times unless you're prepared to elbow away people who try to push in.
Bought a product at Priceline city store. Found it to be faulty. Living over Western suburb l tried to exchange at Williamstown store. They told me l had to go back to City Priceline. I contacted city store and the Manager was so lovely, told me straight away that she would send me a new product. Really lovely staff in there.
I wanted to give a big shout out to Rupa and Georgia in the dispensary. Thank you for the time you have consistently taken to assist, explain and address my needs. Based upon the professional and excellent service that I receive at this Pharmacy, I now only go to Priceline Bourke St Mall for all of my pharmaceutical needs.
The pathologist's lab which this place uses is really bad. They will not provide you with the information if they fail to complete a particular test, and instead make you wait. You have to chase them up. They always blame the patient, not enough sample, or bad quality blood, whatever the reason. Very unprofessional.
A big Thanks to Jackie! Our trip to Melbourne could have been a disaster. My husband walked in with a migraine, Jackie listened to us, then helped with a cocktail of medications to help. These worked a treat and after 30 mins of rest, we' were able to keep going with our journey. 11 out of 10 - Thanks again Jackie
Horrible customer service. Waited at the counter for 5 minutes to only have a staff member walk up and serve someone who joined the line after me. The customer told her to serve me first as I was waiting a very long time, completely ignored it and made me feel horrible and completely invisible and worthless.
I am regular customer to this store , however I experienced a very bad service from one of the male senior staff who was so rude when asked about a price of the cream, even though I made a purchase around 300$ + the way we were treated is not up-to the standards when compared to other Priceline staff.
Disappointed by the customer service by the young, Asian female cashier. More interested in chatting with her co workers than serving customers and being nice and welcoming. Thankfully there are other Pricelines with better customer service.
Horrible service from the staff there on multiple occasions, in particular the rude and unprofessional attitude of the security there. While they have a larger range of products, the prices are much higher and the staff lack social skills
I was looking for nausea and morning sickness relief medicine and when I asked the woman over the Pharmacy counter today, she stared at me up and down like she was judging my looks and asked “are you pregnant?” like she assumed I was a
Five stars for the staff on the till; zero stars for the security staff. If you can't count past zero without getting confused, maybe you shouldn't be working in loss control. If you can't follow a physical description of an actual
Racist cashier. I was just buying lotion and the man at the front asked to see my id for no reason, while he didn’t ask the white lady in front of me for one. It seems like Priceline pharmacy will just hire anyone
I've shopped here for a number of years. I mainly get my shampoos here! The staff are always quite friendly and helpful toward me, in fact we've all kind of gotten to nowe one another over the years. …
One of the biggest Priceline stores in Melbourne. These guys have a huge range of items and often run specials. Sad part is that staff may make you feel a little less special. Some of them appear outright rude.
Staff here are excellent, especially Rupa. She is very passionate about her job and tried her best to help out my situation. She deserves a pay rise. Excellent customer service from the whole store in general.
Ruby is an amazing pharmacist, she did an excellent job and I got my Covid booster here. I really appreciated her help and had a great experience today. She is truly outstanding and deserves admiration.
Top classed service from both the floor staff and the pharmacist. I went looking for items and both floor staff and the pharmacist were very helpful planning for an upcoming holiday. Thank you :)
One of the staff, if I remembered correctly, named Jo was very helpful with the product enquiry. She willingly explained to me without showing any hesitant. True customer service mind. Thank you
Really big Priceline store and conveniently located. A lot of the brand shelves resemble a bit like Myers layout for make up and beauty. Very different to the usual Pricelines you see.
The pharmacy is extremely nice and helpful especially the assistant there with red hair, she was so nice and informative. Will be returning, they are doing an amazing job!
The staff here were so kind and good. The manager stood with me, explained every product I asked about, didn’t push me to buy something I didn’t need. Thank you so much
Very professional, great prices on prescriptions. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful when choosing medications. Great range of makeup as well!
Every of the drugstore brands are here! They’ve got pretty extensive collection. My go to place when I was in Melbourne to shop all out!
I got my flu shot in this branch and special thanks to Jackie who did this very quickly for me. I just would say that she is very kind!
Went in for a flu shot and a covid vaccine top up. Pharmicist was very gentle and professional. Did not hurt. Only slight sting felt.
One of the bigger Priceline shops. Not sure why, I got followed by a security while I was there. It was a bit unsettling experience.
Very quick and thoughtful service! Rupa has been great in helping on any problem, question I have on getting vaccination!
Lots of options ! Best time to go is when Mabelline is on sale, but all the testers have run out or not available.
Isabella was so helpful, took time to give advice and help me find what I needed - lovely service, thank you!
I highly recommend and thank Christina who was super helpful with hair colour advice.
Jackie had amazing service, attention to detail and like ability.
