The special was move in for $1.00 plus one-time administrative fee of $24.00 then monthly rent for $50.00 per month. I made reservation online starting on 30 July, 2017 for 5x12 unit. Got a confirmation letter & number but upon arrival at the storage located at 5151 Pike Plaza in Indianapolis on July 30 I was told that they do not have such size of unit, or any similar unit size available till 31 July. I went on July 31 to and found that made online reservation is not in the Public Storage system. I made agreement that I would like to rent 5x10 unit & same price ($50.00 per m-th) and move in on 31 July. For one day charge was $3.41 plus 0.73 cents for insurance. Then I was charged for $91.20 as insurance was added and second month rent! Then the agent said that I need to have insurance $11.00 plus rent would be $52.00. I said that my Renters Insurance covers storage but I would like to have the $50.00 per month fee for smaller unit size as the original reservation was made. She said until I do not bring a proof of insurance I MUST to buy the PS insurance which lowest price was at $11/month and that she can not lower rent as she replaces regular storage attendant for few days. She recommended that I comeback to talk with the regular attendant and get from her approve for $50.00 per month. After one week I went back, met the regular office attendant and she recommended me to call Regional Manager to talk about rented unit price. She accepted my own insurance but said I do not need to proof it. Then she removed the PS insurance but starting from Sept. not August. Upon all this understatements and differences I called Regional manager several times leaving each time a message to call me back. After 2 weeks left on her voice mail messages are unanswered. Calling 800 # C/S is less as effective. I found that the system is not up to date and all problem Regional Managers should resolve. I plan to do tomorrow special trip to the Indianapolis Corporation just to try to meet the regional manager & bring her attention to all fee discrepancy and the practice of PS places. I am sure that she is aware of renters complains if tomorrow trip would not satisfy me I am ready to file complain with BBB. Update to above post: I was able to get hold of the Regional Manager. After short discussion over a phone she agreed to give me $52.00 credit for the month of September and in return I was asked to update my review.

The Public Storage facility on Pike Plaza is a great place to store your stuff! Yolanda is a superb employee for Public Storage! She goes above and beyond to make your experience the best it can be. Check in for my two units was flawless. As mentioned, she goes above and beyond for her customers. Recently Indianapolis was hit with a weekend snow storm. Over 5 inches fell in a 12 hour period. I needed to put things in my unit and was coming in from out of state on a Sunday evening. I called Yolanda earlier that day to ask her if the facility had been plowed. I didn't want to get stuck while trying to unload my car. She said it had and that she would go out before closing at 5pm and shovel in front of my two units so I could unload easier. Sure enough, I arrived at about 7:30 Sunday night and the snow had been shoveled away from my units. That made the unload much easier and drier too! Thanks Yolanda, you're the best!!!!!!

The experience was great. Ms. Yolanda was very helpful & well knowledgeable regarding the storage units. She was able to save my client/customer some money by helping in getting the perfect storage unit according to the items that were going to be stored. She answered all our questions & concerns. My client was very upset & angry about having to purchase a lock & insurance as this information wasn't discussed when speaking with Mark who set up the reservation to obtain the unit. Ms. Yolanda apologize for the additional information not being told at the time we reserved the unit. She was very patient and explain everything to us. No hidden fees etc. Hats off to Ms. Yolanda as she turned an upset angry customer into a Happy customer upon completing the purchase of the unit. I personally was very impress with her professionalism & with the property & how well kept and clean the property, office and units were.

I have used this company before, which brought me back. So with that said, nothing stopped me from coming back. My complaint about this location specifically would be, the lost keys procedure. I lost my keys as soon as i got my unit(totally my fault).. but the procedure to correct that issue is to fill out a form that has to be fulfilled my a district manager how will get to it at his leisure. For me i signed up on March 7th and was not able to get into my unit until April 1st completely wasting my free month. Other than that the on property manager is exceptional, the property itself is clean. The property has a normal chain link fence, but sits behind 2 car dealerships so if there are intruders then most likely they will be caught on camera!!

When I reserved my storage unit it was listed for $84 but when I went in to claim my unit it was $94. Yolanda was so patient and nice with handling the situation. She had me reserve again and got me my unit for the price I originally reserved it for. Thanks Yolanda you were great. P.S I'll be back for more of your great customer service for a small unit. 10x16 not quite big enough. Update 7-30-22 I went in to check on my unit and to see about getting the unit transferred to my son, I was told I had to speak to someone higher. In the mean time I was give a discount on my already existing unit. Now that's great CS. Thanks Kalee, you were truly a blessing today.

Every time I call or come into the office for service, I have been consistently impressed with the excellent quality of customer service provided by Antjie. She is ever cheerful, very courteous, and very helpful with ideas and suggestions for resolving challenging situations. The current unit I have is actually my second one at this location. I needed one a few years back short-term and the current unit for a longer term. The reason I came back was great location, great customer service, and since the very first time I walked in, Yolanda has done an excellent job at making sure all of my needs with both units were met. She has been very inviting, friendly, knowledgeable, and the utmost respectful both during phone conversations and in the office to me and what I've observed as she handled other customers.

Darnell, was by far the most helpful and efficient encounter I have had with PS in two years. I really liked his way of handling the customer. He understands the business and puts customer service as a number one priority. He shared stories of like experiences and situations that I find myself in. I had a great experience when I came to this public storage. The workers are really friendly and really knowledgeable about the different things that I might need. Not only did I get a storage I bought 2 and the price was very reasonable. I remember the ladies name that help me out Miss Yolanda. Was a sweet, and very friendly person. If I ever need a storage again I will come back to this one, and I am going to recommend friends as well.

Yolanda and Dameon were both wonderfully helpful, friendly, and professional. I got maybe 3 reminder calls from Yolanda (which I loved, because moves always make me nervous) and both Yolanda and Dameon (on two separate days, because I needed to get a second unit) were really efficient at walking me through the paperwork. I do wish those locks didn't cost $20, but at least it's a one-time only expense per unit.

Kalee was awesome and helpful. I didn’t expect anyone to be at storage site on Memorial Day but there he was riding around the lot working. He helped me and was super friendly. I got my unit yesterday and tried to review then but for some reason the app does not work correctly. I did most of my paperwork online. That being said, I came in and was shown my unit and provided a lock. Yolanda the manager was very friendly and nice. She explained all them "initials" I had to sign. Clean property as well....I went to one in Va. that was a little rough around the edges.

If you're thinking of renting here look for Yolanda, she's professional and courteous. The price for my unit was a great deal and although they increased my storage fee after 5 months I was notified over a month in advance. The only con from my experience would be about the other renters who from time to time dumped unwanted items in the facilities ditch.

She is following the covid-19 procedures carefully which helped me to feel comfortable as I completed my registration in office. The unit is priced reasonable with good lighting.

Stupid place too much of an ordeal just to go in and out of the gate there. Plus you have to pay a fine if you are there past 9 pm or something. I would go somewhere else like Lafayette rd has 24 hrs storage or right off Kentucky Ave and 465 is 24 hrs. Much nicer any clean with better gates and hours.
