An area for improvement. Bringing our children to the mosque is important for raising our children according to the Sunnah. The Prophet (may God’s peace and blessings be upon him) often prayed with his granddaughter Umamah on his shoulders. His attitude towards children was always kind and merciful. In fact, one time while the Prophet was leading prayers in the mosque, he heard a child crying and so he shortened the prayer simply on the grounds that he knew that the cries of the child would make the mother nervous. So to keep the mother from growing anxious, he ended the prayers promptly. Furthermore, we all cherish the hadith that the Prophet used to let his grandchildren play on his back as he prayed. Yet, we still want to be hard-hearted towards children and claim that they upset our concentration in prayer.
I learned about this mosque from a webinar presented by the architect himself back in 2020. Almost exactly three years later, alhamdulillah I had the chance to visit Sydney and decided to take a 45-min train ride from the central to Punchbowl. The area is really tranquil, the mosque is stunning. However, I had a tough time finding the female toilet. The female hall area (from what I read) was also being used by brothers, but I suppose it is because the mosque is still new and everyone is getting used to it.
Such a beautiful Masjid, Alhamdulillah. Blessings to everyone involved in building this work of art....Jazakallahu Khayran. Unfortunately the shoes are kept indoors in the ablution area which causes a distinct, unwelcoming smell of everyone's feet. Inshallah there's a solution to this especially during hot weather.
One of the most beautiful Masjid in Sydney. With all facilities abd great services like Udhu and toilets, Parking, separate prayer arrangement for women. I regularly pray here. A very highly qualified Imam's enriching Kuthbah really attracts me , I think anyone as well.

I am a muslim and felt very Disappointed with non hospitable member of organisation. An old lady was angry to us, even srceam. because we brought our kids to main women area which no sign put on. Poor attitude on the claimed greatest architechture of mosque
MaShaAllah what a beautiful masque in Punchbowl. The great almighty Allah give me opportunity to Jumma prayer here. The exterior and interior design are so beautiful. Also it is near to Punchbowl
Amazing unique architecture. Utterly comfortable as well. The architect took it wee bit too literally perhaps - punching bowls into the ceiling. Hehe. I would love to meet him.

One of the most aesthetically pleasing mosques from the inside. Well designed and calming on the eyes.
