I had my first Natural facial today. I opted for the Revitalizing Pear Fig Facial. As a guy my skin is a bit dry and I tend to not always look after it as best I should. The appointment was easy to book, you get a questionnaire as your skin is unique to you and your lifestyle. I was greeted by my esthetician, Shabnam. I was welcomed into the treatment room, we talked through the process and I was then left to get comfortable in private, once ready, Shabnam entered and confirmed a few things and we got started. Guys - if you can shave before hand. We started with a cleans - not sure what I was expecting but I can tell you my skin loved it on contact. It also smelt clean - it in a nice comforting way. Next up was a steam face massage, to help open up the pores and get the blood flowing - it helps with the extractions. My main areas was my nose as it’s oily and can clog up easier. We also had a sound therapy after the extractions, I thought this was awesome as it kills the bacteria on the skin prevent a possible post breakout. Next was the exfoliant mask - now I was expecting a gel or a cream with sugar or something hard in. It was not that at all. Instead it’s a cream (I don’t know what it looks like because my eyes are closed and having a little vacation themselves). It smelt like fruit but had a little sting! Nothing to be alarmed about - it hardly lasts and then it’s gone. I was then treated to a massage of my shoulders and head. This was so relaxing, I checked out for a little and zoned back in when Shabnam check in on how I was doing. I also had an also hydration mask put on and then further oxygenated air treatment. My skin felt so clean, and nourished after. I have to admit, I did have a glow!! We talked through some products that were used and others that might work better for me. I’m definitely one for as natural as I can when I can. I’d recommend it for sure!

I had two very unprofessional experiences with this location. I asked for an afternoon apt with Caitlyn and the woman I spoke to kept suggesting dates with morning times. I had to tell her three times that I needed an afternoon apt. I specifically said I wanted to see Caitlyn for an IPL consultation and when I got there, I was seen by someone else who did not do IPL so basically my drive there and my consultation was a waste of my time. On my way out I spoke briefly with Caitlyn who had returned from lunch. I told her I had had IPL treatments done in the past that were successful but the last one I had done two years ago at another medspa was a disaster due to a bad technician and my skin suffered. Caitlyn said I could book myself in for a IPL test patch treatment to see how my skin reacted. I wanted to have some sunspots treated on my body not on my face. I booked an apt yesterday with Caitlyn to do the test patch and 30 min later they called me back to say Caitlyn was busy and could I come another time to which I agreed to. A second call from them today to say she spoke to Caitlyn who decided not to see me because she doesn’t want to take any risks with my skin using IPL. Then she asked me if I was interested in doing another non-IPL treatment on my face. Not sure how many times I had to tell them not my face, sunspots on my body. Do these people not listen?! Long story short, she said Caitlyn doesn’t feel comfortable using IPL on me. This makes no sense to me at all! I could understand Caitlyn not wanting to go over the sunspots on my face that were treated by a bad technician but it wasn’t my face I was interested in. I asked if I could speak to Caitlyn and was told I could not. Honestly this medspa is so confusing and totally unprofessional. Lots of miscommunications and the staff seem very inexperienced.

I have been regularly going to pure and simple for almost a decade. Throughout this time, I keep seeing Caitlyn as my aesthetician of choice because by my estimations she is the best of the best. I tried a few other facials, at different places or within the same pure and simple and Caitlyn is just on a league of her own. She is meticulous and gentle, both in the way she delivers the treatment and the way she interacts with me. Her face massage is second to none, as a matter of fact most aestheticians don’t even bother to give a face massage. That’s a crime because face massage has so many benefits to your skin. Caitlyn is also a master of extractions, which most aestheticians dislike but according to Caitlyn it’s one of her favourite things to do. She uses her hands with some tissues to do the extractions which in my experience is the best way to get extractions done as opposed to the metal tool thing that other aestheticians use. That metal tool always causes me irritations, in contrast I have never felt irritated by Caitlyn’s hands. In fact she’s so gentle I manage to sleep through the whole extraction phase of the facial most times. As for the spa, it’s clean and well managed; so long as Caitlyn works there I will keep coming back.

I have been going to Pure + Simple since 2012 . At the time my skin was going through so many changes and I was very discouraged about how it looked. Caitlin has been with me along my skin care journey since then and I am so grateful for her. The service has always been consistent and Caitlin’s knowledge and facials are fantastic! I always find myself falling asleep with her facials. I’m so happy with the service and experience that I have gotten my mother and mother-in-law hooked on Pure+Simple as well. I really appreciate how the rooms are all dim and the music is so relaxing. The beds are reclined a certain way where you feel so comfortable and that helps you feel relaxed even before your service begins. I always recommend Pure + Simple Eglinton and I will continue to recommend this location to all my friends and family!

I’m a regular at Pure and Simple Eglinton and have tried different facials and loved them all! I have troublesome skin— dehydrated, acne-prone, and I struggle with eczema flare-ups, too. My aesthetician Caitlyn gives me the best facials—I’m always left with bright, glowy, degongested skin and walk out feeling relaxed! Her extractions are almost painless and her facial massage is the best! She takes her time catering to your skin needs and provides a relaxing and comfortable experience. Also, I started my microneedling journey with Caitlyn and she’s done an excellent job with it. Overall, super happy with the staff, place is clean, and the relaxing spa atmosphere of the rooms is a delight. Prices are reasonable and they have really great monthly specials, too.

Absolutely the BEST!!! I love the spa experience at Pure + Simple, from the moment of arrival onward you feel welcomed and comfortable. Caitlin at the Yonge & Eglinton location is exceptional at pampering your skin and taking care of all your needs, which btw includes the most calming facial massage…. it feels like a little slice of heaven!!! I love that I can ask lots of questions about my skin and Caitlin is always super helpful. My skin is extra sensitive and it makes a huge difference to know that when I go for a facial my esthetician is prepared, knowledgeable and aware of MY sensitive skincare needs. I have never left the P+S spa with irritated or reactive skin, it always feels so much better after!

I was most impressed by the quality of customer service when I first called to ask about services. The staff was knowledgable, friendly and took the time to answer all of my questions. I had not had a facial in over 3 years and was most concerned about products and safety measures used. When I arrived, they made me feel comfortable and safe. My esthetician was thorough and gentle. She gave me a relaxing and gentle facial. I was impressed that all of their products used were free of harmful ingredients like parabens, petrochemicals, silicones, phthalates, sulfates, or synthetic fragrances + dyes. Pure & Simple will now be my “Go-to” for me and a great place to purchase gifts for my family and friends.

I have been going to Pure+Simple for several years now since moving back to the hood. Back then, I did my research and chose to see Caitlin and haven't looked back! I'm confident in saying that any technician you chose will do a good job, but for me, there's no one other than Caitlin. She knows exactly what my skin needs, what to try, what to stay away from, and I always leave my facial appointments feeling so fresh! We usually go for the "super hydrating" for my chronic dry skin, but really, I would do whatever Caitlin tells me ;) If you're in mid-town and your face needs a little somethin, Pure+Simple is your spot!

Great place for all natural skin care and make-up products. They recycle your bottles and take off $1 per bottle on services. They walk the talk with helping and promoting environmentally sound products and services. They support those causes in the community as well. That's why I continue to go back. Shabnam is the best technician. I think I started about two years ago and it was the best thing I ever did. Getting a skin care regiment going is essential for your facial Care. I go to the Yonge and Eglinton location. UPDATE: still going here and it's still there best place for a facial and natural skin products!

Would give lower if I could. I went in for a facial and told them I have very sensitive, oily, acne prone skin. They recommended me the "hydration facial" and said it would be best for my skin. I had a terrible breakout after and they suggested I try their product to calm my skin down. The product made it worse. I saw another specialist who said the product they gave me should not be used on my skin type. They clearly have people working there who don't know what they're doing. I spent over $200 for my skin to get worse and they were unable to offer me a refund on the product. Very disappointing.

Just had my first ever facial done here. Kayesha was lovely and knowledgeable. What most impressed me: I usually have massive dark circles and this treatment reduced them which was such an unexpected and lovely benefit. What was a problem: For a "safe" product line they have limited fragrance free options. If you suffer from MCS or are sensitive to essential oils this may not be the place for you which is unfortunate. I'd like to return but may not until they have a fully fragrance free service option.

Niloo is my go to facial specialist! She is incredibly caring, thoughtful and always suggests the best treatments according to my skincare needs. I have been coming to her for a while now and I always leave happy. I would definitely recommend Pure+ Simple to others. I had a great experience at their other locations too. Very accommodating and a great business!

I’ve been coming here for the last 8-9 years for facials, and it’s just heavenly. I love the serenity, the ambiance, the great service and the wonderful, relaxing facials by my favourite aesthetician Georgeta. Also love their product line and no matter what new brands I try, I keep coming back to their moisturizers and masks.

I have been going here for years. It's definitely not cheap but they have the best facials. They do have monthly deals so you have the opportunity to try something new every month. Their estheticians are amazing. I seriously wish I could afford to go here every week. Perhaps an annual package for your loyal clients :)

I had a fantastic, relaxing facial today with Courtney at P + S Eglinton. It was my first time at this location, and it definitely did not disappoint. Lovely environment, services and products. I really recommend seeing Caitlyn, she gives great advice on how to maintain your skin routine between facials and is very knowledgeable about the specific products offered. Booking online or via phone is super easy and the prices are very straightforward.

I was here twice for a facial and chemical peel a year ago and it was the best decision. My skin was in throes of going into mild acne and I was experiencing painful lumps in my cheeks but this place fixed my face. I no longer have painful pimples a year after visiting and using their products.

First time coming here and I was blown away by the professionalism. My aesthetician Layla was very knowledgeable and personable so I felt right at ease getting the hydrating facial, which had fantastic results. Definitely recommend for anyone struggling with dehydrated/combo skin this winter.

This is my first time at Pure&Simple (Yonge location). The receptionist was friendly and warm. Courtney was my esthetician, and I was very impressed with the service and facial. She is very gentle and I felt relaxed and my skin felt amazing. I am planning to get a package !

I had a great Super-Hydrating facial with Kaitlyn. It took me a while to get the appointment scheduled and they were very patient with all my phone calls to change it. The facial itself was worth the money, felt good, and achieved its goals. Will be going back for sure.

Excellent staff, great products and amazing environment. This is my go to spot for facial treatments. They are reasonably priced and the staff are super knowledgable. Whether you are well versed in skin care or going for your first treatment it's a great spot.

Have been to the Yonge and eglinton pure+simple. Did a urban renewal treatment. As it was my first i have requested for a good facialist to do my facial. The lady who did my facial didnt do anything at all. No extractions no massage
