Q'S Cinemas

Located on not so busy part of city even though it is in commercial area, Q's cinema is somehow not so famous among Cinema halls in Kathmandu. Maybe due to lack of customers the restaurant wasn't open. So if you want the hall for yourself and some other groups to watch a movie Q's cinema is the place. The food item in food court have similar choices you find in other cinema. Though I found cheese popcorn somewhat unsatisfying (maybe its that day only). Nachos were good but instead of salsa regular sauce was given. The staffs were good enough friendly, they brought 3D glasses to your own seats. Maybe due to my long legs seating space was not big enough for me and the seats were not that foldable. The screen and sound system were good. Ps:Even though the 3D glasses may seem blurry on one side it will be okay once the movie starts.

About screen 1: Didn't like the screen,it was all dusty.Also you will easily be distracted by the projector lights id you are sitting at the higher level seats.As well the interval was not even like 5minutes,you've gotta hurry if you don't wanna Miss the beginning part...Also the parking charges are extremely high!!like really high!!!Audio quality is also worst among all the movie theatres in town.. Update 2022 Now the movie experience is even worst! Picture quality lacks contrast,color completely looks faded. Also there was no surround sound,it was like watching movie with a laptop speaker. Seats were also really really bad. -1star

They absolutely do not care regarding the refunds of customers. Announcing to play movie but when the people are less then they just cancle the movie however they don't refund the money back. One of the staff said it would be transferred to the same number through which it was paid but it's been almost more than a month but there is no response from them. I do not think that they are much responsibility towards their customers needs and money. Just earning money is not doing a good business. They should learn to be honest and do refund of customers money on time as they claim to do so.

Cinema hall is average. I had watched Chakka Panja 4 movie here recently. The hall was not well managed. The show was scheduled for 3:15pm but the staffs finished cleaning by 3:30pm and then we entered the hall. This is not acceptable. Cheese popcorn was no good. I’ll try normal salted popcorn next time to get to know about its taste. There are two halls inside Q’s cinemas. One is normal and another is premium with double price. The premium hall didn’t have anything premium at all. These types of seats are normal in QFX and Biswojyoti Cineplex. So, I’m giving 3 stars to this hall!

Well maintained. Satisfied with picture and sound quality. The screen size seems good but not sure about the seating gradient/slope. The interior design looks outdated. The premium seats are comfortable. Enough space for leg. Movie starts on time and not 15 mins late like qfx. Cheese popcorn was not tasty. Never tasted bad cheese popcorn like this in any theatre in Nepal. The snacks management was satisfactory. Didn't have to wait long in que for snacks. Restroom capacity small. They should have a bigger restroom like qfx as a lot of people use it during the interval.

Waste of money. 1st price is too high. Small screen and high seating slope Worst seat ever experienced. Not all all comfortable. Entire hall was hot as AC was not working efficiently . They proudly present popcorn and drinks as included in ticket price but give a small pack of peanuts and call it refreshment. Combo pack though is reasonable compared to other cinema halls. Come here only if u don't get shows in other places like I did.. I would rather not see movie instead of coming here and wasting my money.

I have been visiting this theatre more often now coz its quite and located in easily accessible durbarmarg area. Their auditorium 2 is very fine with comfortable sofa seats and big screen. They also provide free refreshments which is flavoured fruit dink and a pack of peanuts. But the auditorium 1 is not that great. Seats are fixed so spending 2-3 hours there is not very comfortable, seats could have be recliner or flexible. And the size of popcorn is also really small compared to other cinemas.

I just can't recommend this hall. First, it's rate is almost on par with QFX and FCube, while delivering not even a close experience. One of the hall has sofa, which is nice, but that is about it. The theater itself feels a bit off, and the screen and lighting is simply not good. Further, they had some offers on website, but they did not honor it when I tried to redeem the offer. The halls are small in size. I would recommend people to just find other alternatives.

The hall and ambience were ok but the parking facilities were very bad. As per notice and rule from Kathmandu Metropolitan, parking charges are waived for movie watchers. On showing the tickets also, the security guards asked us to get the parking slip to be stamped by the hall. Neither the hall nor the parking lot has kept any notice regarding it. The Q's Cinema management should look into the matter and make sure that their customers watch movies hassle-free.

i will not say its the best place but still good enough to watch a show with your friends. place/rest room is neat n clean, small in size, not too crowded and need to maintain the food court. too slow on service, just to serve a snack. Too slow(disappointed). In hall, seats aren't made for tall people, keeps bumping on front seat. better watch on that will getting excited in movie.

Q's Audi 3 was and will be my favourite theatre of choice in the country so i kept visiting again and again but it was very hard for me to spend the full time in Q's Audi 1. Sound and picture quality was good but what I expect in a movie theatre is some moment of comfort which was worst here. The seats are not comfortable at all. Don't book for Audi 1 here. I regret booking there.

Place is clean not so crowd Seats are ok But while watching movie it’s so hot they don’t turn on AC. It makes difficult while watching big screen Please maintain ta theater temperature so that customers can watch comfortably And also smoking zone’s room is very small and very small hole for air circulation With he higher rate they should be proving good service as well

This hall is located inside The Risng Mall in Durbarmarg Kathmandu. If you want to enjoy movie with friends and family than you can choose this hall. It have got good picture quality and sound quality. Also seats are so comfortable. Along with movie you can also enjoy photography and making tiktok as there is awesome decorations inside.

This is a scam. They have app but crashes immediately. My friend accidentally booked 6 tickets to the wrong show and we needed to cancel and refund our money. I’ve been calling the numbers they provided but they never received. I may have tried to call more than 100 times over 2 hrs. This needs to be adressed immediately!!! Scammers!!!!

Advance cinema hall with good environment , hall 2 has good seating facility with free cold drinks and peanut. Ticket price is high here. Sound system is good. Screen is big. Located at prime location easily accessible from road. I like their quality concept on high price. Watching movie from sofa which is really nice isn't it?

They do have a very premium hallway but since it isn't a go to theatre of the masses, it has affected the theatre pretty badly. The theatre was pretty gloomy with a lingering damp odour when I visited. The theatre has the potential to be one of the best in the city but requires some maintenance.

A very well maintained cinema theatre in Kathmandu, Easily accessible as it is located at Durbarmarg. The screens and sound are very good and the interior inside the hall is good as well. The best thing is the refreshment is included with the ticket. The toilets and corridor are clean as well.

No room for zero else I would give 0 stars, ticket was cancelled saying they don't play movies for only two person. I have had experience in threaters in the past where they only have played movies for a single person as well. Greatful that I did not have to wait much for the refund. …

Less known gem! Amazing sofa seats and great ambience but as many don't know it as of now its absolutely amazing to get even a really pack show. I recently watched Dr. Strange there and while literally all other halls were fully booked there were pretty much 50% or more vacant seats there

Cinema was pretty empty on the third day screening of the movie I watched. The food was decent no complaints on that part but the seat I got was a bit uncomfortable. It croaked whenever I moved and I couldn't get it to come fully down while I tried sitting comfortably.

It is a great place, I liked the seats(very comfortable) and cool gesture to give free peanuts and juice before the show. My movie experience was also wonderful. Among other movie theaters in Kathmandu I will definitely choose Q's cinemas for my next movie.

Glad that rising mall removed the parking charge when you come to watch movies. It's an awesome cinema Hal which has comfortable seats and latest cinema tech. I prefer it above all other cinema halls due to the quality of everything being quite high here.

Went to watch Openheimer and was quite not satisfied with the picture quality, and also the food service was very slow during interval due to which many of us had to miss few minutes of the movie. Hope the management improves these things.

They run a show and when you reach there,they cancel the show showing reasons that not enough people to run the show. I asked them where is this written so that public is informed. They are quiet. No info beforehand. Worst experience.

The cinema experience was just okay, but what disappointed me was the extremely short interval time. It's nearly impossible to grab food or snacks before the movie starts up again, leaving you rushing to get back to your seat.

Everything is good. 4 star because of behavior of employees. They hide tickets for their friends and families. Also marketing is not good. You can always get tickets even if the all theaters are housefull in Kathmandu Valley.

worst experience.. the hall is dirty and smelly... How do u even compare it with other halls. The screen is so dirty and blurry.. You are compromising the moving experience for the customers who pays a lot fr a movie.

Located at a convenient place,and it has two big screens. The cleanliness of the toilets was up to the mark. However, the lobby inside the hall is so congested and gets crowded every now and then.

Very unprofessional We brought online tickets and after few hours they cancelled the show without giving any valid reason. And they didn't refunded the amount in time. Not recommend

A good movie experience if are bored of huge crowd at QFX or Bigmovies. Very comfortable seats, better than their competitors, food was cost efficient too. My go to movie place now.

A nice hall to watch latest movies. They have online purchase too which makes easier and dont have to stand in queue. They give refreshment for every tickets purchased.

Best cinema hall in Kathmandu if not in Nepal. Nice seat, plenty of legroom, amazing audio experience, overall amazing... Especially Audi 2.. Nicest cinema hall .

Good place to have movie experience in Karhmandu. Food and drinks are very good. Some more Circulation space is required in lobby. male toulet is much congested.
