My husband and my brother in law had a case hearing last year in December related to immigration. Mr Adil Farooq was their lawyer and being a lawyer, he did absolutely nothing for the case. Many days before the hearing, he called for a meeting at his office to discuss points related to the case. Well, instead of preparing my husband and my brother in law for the hearing day, he just tried to scare them that they will lose the case and things are not in their favor at all and he really set their morale low. With this kind of negative attitude, especially from your lawyer, no one could possibly win a case even if the case matter is not that serious. We could not build trust with him because of his destructive approach towards their case. In their situation, they had many evidences that if presented correctly in front of the judge, they could have easily won the case. But due to the lawyer’s unprofessional, negative, non-serious and unconstructive attitude, they lost the case. Adil Farooq came completely unprepared on the hearing day. He had no clue of what questions he was asking his clients in front of the judge. His questions did not help them prove their innocence in any way, or I would say they were useless questions. He was a complete disaster in the courtroom. He tried to confirm some information with his clients in the courtroom, which he should have done days before the hearing. He completely ruined their case due to his unprofessionalism. He should have never taken the responsibility of the case on his shoulders if he was not capable to do so. I would never recommend anybody to hire him for his or her immigration matters, even if he insists, because he is certainly not an immigration lawyer.

Its been great pleasure working with Adil Law on two occasions wherein we received a very professional and responsible services. I was first taken aback by few negative reviews however when I analyzed those carefully, I found that those are for one incident for which multiple people from the same party wrote negative reviews. Then I looked at response from Adil Law and realized they were out of prejudice and not facts. Therefore going by my gut feeling and listening to other references, we gave a very important legal work to Adil Law to create our 'WILL'. And the first hand experience I had was so professional unlike other solicitors, I talked who started with fees and then mentioned 'Will' is a straight forward paperwork which could be mostly in couple of pages. Instead Mr. Adil convened a video meeting with me and my wife wherein he explained what is a standard Canadian 'Will' however being from Islam religion we have to factor in division of assets mentioned in Shariya as well as burial process and its related expenses. He made us understand all parties that will be mentioned in the 'Will' and explained their individual and collective roles. On top of that he gave us professional advice on how to place executors before and after oldest child turns 18 years of age. I could not have asked for a better lawyer and law firm. Our sincere regards to Adil Law and may you continue helping people like us who are young couples and completely new to Canadian 'Will' and its guidelines.

Adil Farooq was handling my elder and younger son's case related to immigration and residency obligation. I have not seen such a disorganized and unprofessional lawyer in my life. He had set a meeting with my sons, days before the court date, to discuss with them the case prospects. Instead of taking his clients into confidence, building a trust between them, he just tried to discourage them and told them that they will lose the case. I didn't expect a lawyer to have such a negative behaviour towards his clients, who hoped that their lawyer would support them and would guide them in the right direction. Adil Farooq was not prepared in the courtroom as well. His questions and supporting arguments were clumsy and disorganized. He couldn’t even speak properly with the judge. I was extremely disappointed to know that he was not able to present the proofs well before the judge and was incapable to fight for his clients. We lost the case due to his nonserious attitude towards them. I would never recommend him to anybody because according to me he is very unprofessional in his work.

Mr. Adil Farooq handled my wife's immigration and my son's citizenship applications successfully. My wife's immigration application was rejected and the appeal was also denied when I approached him. Mr. Farooq studied my wife's application and went through each step and every document with me very carefully before submitting the new application. He was very clear to me about every possibility before even signing the agreement with him. He was very supportive during the whole process. He treated me as a person and as a friend, not just as a client. According to my experience, he is a very knowledgeable, professional and above all a very nice human being. Thanks to him my family is in Canada now. Amazing lawyer and amazing person....100% recommended.

Upon knowing that these guys would handle my mortgage I was at sort of peace until the day of signing - the rushing and weak ability to properly explain important details is what they are good for. Still managed to do business with them and of course for their services they heavily charged us and after that when we had a question, no reply. We did not feel in anyway that we were in good hands nor if the company cared about our best interests. All you made us feel was you wanted to get the money and not have to deal with what happens after. You get 2 stars, you did do your job - you just did not apply all knowledge to a new home owner - now I have to deal with it.

One word, 'sloppy'. He has no idea what was going on in the court room, he could barely speak in front of the judge and has a thick accent and sometimes the judge don't even understands him. I wasted my money on him for no reason. He has no courtesy for your family matters esp when children are involved. All he needs is your money and sends you an email with his signature reading 'Thank you for your business'. It maybe business for you but you are dealing with people's lives here so have some courtesy and respect if you can't use your tiny brain. Pathetic!
