Terrible service! The pharmacist here treats elderly patient with absolute contempt, disrespect and ignorance! My mum was frustrated when her usual script was dispensed in a different way, was simply trying to ask them if they could dispense it in the old ways that she had been used to for last several years. That simple request was met with all the impatient angry scolding, evil eyes and being screamed at repetitively! This is the worst service she had ever encountered in any shops, let alone in a pharmacy which is supposed to care for the elderly and all patients. Will never return to this terrible pharmacy again!
I get it when people say their service isn't good, they look at you while you're waiting and you wonder why they're not promptly assisting. A couple of the older ladies are snobs and the younger ones are just there for the money. The pharmacists are better in that they take time to ask questions and explain different medications. Their shelves are always lacking stock, so it beats me why they have so many staff and filling a script takes far too long. Having said all that, there is one staff member that always greet by name and a huge smile and by far stands way above all the others.
Most of the pharmacists I've encountered here were not very friendly, some spoke down to me and most took very long to dispense a script even though there were very few folks in the pharmacy. One of them even gave me the pharmacy brand for a script without asking which brand I would prefer. Apart from this, I've found the general staff to be helpful and kind. Not sure what it is about the pharmacists there but just for that and the lack of varierty on shelves I would not recommend the place.
Customer service staff went over and beyond to help us locate a cpap part that was needed for sleep apnea machine. We had left it 6 hours away and this. Even though it was evening she rang other pharmacies for us, it would have been easy to say, sorry we don’t have it and blow us off, but her persistence in helping was A grade. In the end we purchased a whole new set from here as the individual part was not available anywhere else. Would recommend this pharmacy to anyone
Please don't go there unless you want to be ripped off. They sold me Cephalexin capsules at $19.19 but I can get it from mychemist at $7.30. I often bough it from there but I will not buy anything from them again. BTW, I was served by an Indian-faced girl this time and she was not friendly and gave me the most expensive one directly. The first image is their product and the second one is from mychemist. The same ingredient and they charged me almost three times more.
I’ve had good experiences at this pharmacy both in the new location and their old one up the street. They always have my prescription in stock and are quick to get my order ready after I drop off my script. The pharmacists that I’ve dealt with have been very professional and friendly. I will continue to get my prescriptions from this pharmacy, as it is walking distance to the Burwood HealthCare clinic and I haven’t had any issues thus far.
Last year I was prescribed medication which made me unwell, so I attempted to return a second box which hadn’t been used. This place refused to refund me as THEY hadn’t sealed the packet. So I was out of pocket $80.00, as well as having dud meds. Now I always make sure the box is sealed if dispensed multiple packets. And almost every time I come to this chemist, they’re experiencing computer issues. Shop at your own peril!
My mother came in this morning to collect some eye drops for my dad who has an eye infection and waited at the service desk for 10 minutes. In this time she wasn’t even acknowledged by staff despite being the only customer waiting and 3 staff behind the counter. She left and went up the road to the Amcal at Burwood One, where she was assisted quickly and will go there from now on.
Came to buy a medication that’s off the PBS and costs $7 on a private script at normal pharmacies. Got charged the PBS price of $20. Although the cashier was friendly about it, it felt very much like the over charging was intentional just to make a few extra dollars. Good service, but disappointed at the underlying intent - an unknowing customer would be exploited here.
I came to this pharmacy today and even though the pharmacy was really busy, the service especially from Wendy the pharmacist was really excellent. She was really kind and patient to discuss the medications with my me as I take a lot of medications and sometimes get confused with what I take. Absolute thumbs up for her and she has done a great job.
I thought that i would give it a go as its 2 minutes from my house, i had a script filed that i get every month and instead of being around the $12-$14 mark it was $26.65. I dont mind paying for quality but an extra $12 for exactly same product and service elsewhere is ridiculous!
Their prices are outrageous. I needed to sign some documents and they charged me $1 each. How ridiculous! Then I went to purchase a thermometer on 25/08/2020. The label was $9.99 and cashier charged me $19.98. When I asked then she said it
Bought a CPAP machine months ago, good at taking my money, promised to follow up, after left with the product, never heard of them again, I will never go back to this place again, not recommended to buy such products from this place.
Pharmacist was unbelievably rude and dismissive after asking for a simple verification of license. I Didn't have the right identification (fair enough) - regardless, I wouldn't imagine treating people like that, working or not.
The pharmacist was rude and dismissive of my explanation for needing the medication. Felt very uncomfortable there unlike the Quality Pharmacy at Burwood One which is outstanding but has shorter opening hours.
Too expensive.please dont go here 3x more than other place. I cant believe it. Please please dont waste your money here. Normal cost what i buy only around $8 This place charge me $24
I thought this place would be awful after reading the reviews but I found the staff friendly helpful and efficient, showing me ways to save money when I'm shopping at this pharmacy. Much appreciated.
Not recommended, same stuff but triple the price than Chemist Warehouse. I got some anti flux meds (Sozol 40mg) for 20.38 from here the other day but only find out today that CW cost only 6.99.
Staff are nice, they don't look down on you for asking for pain killers and there is plenty or parking. Operating hours are decent, until 10pm most nights.
I have been to this pharmacy many times and none of the employees having no respect for us customers. It's like we are not welcome to this place.
Staff needs to be trained up on both professional and customer service skills. And learn to respect others, not rolling eyeballs to customer.
Friendly staff and a very wide range of products. Store is reasonably modern. Plenty of parking at the rear.
Can get pretty bogged down during the day. Best to do a return trip if you're getting a script.
Charged $21 for a tablet that costs $8.50 at Chemist Warehouse and $13 at Amcal. Never again.
Not Recommended. Very racist place... PLEASE DON’T GO ... Some of them don’t have experience.
I have no idea why common medicines are so very expensive here. What is so special guys?
Changed hands. Now smaller and not much in make-up or shoes line. Staff helpful.
Amazing service, always helpful with any questions I may have, quick service.
Simply 3x the price of chemist warehouse. Go if you want to be ripped off.
Terrible service. 45 minutes for 1 script and overpriced 2x other chemist
The stuff does not respect me as I'm patient specially the Indian girl
Generally good service by efficient young chemists + other staff.
Script more than double the price of priceline
Most expensive chemist i have been too.
Great experience. Quick service
Very helpful and friendly
Good customer service .
