Marianna Scott was nice to deal with until she received my payment. After that, my questions were ignored and I was left to deal with her assistant which would have been fine except she seemed to neither understand Canadian tax law nor english. When I asked her to change something on my tax return (at the advisement of revenue canada), she initially refused informing me that Canada Revenue was wrong. When I asked her to do so anyway since it was advised by Canada Revenue (you know the agency which handles taxes) , she finally relented but was sure to send me a passive aggressive email in the process about how changing one line on my return was a waste of her time. If you want to pay someone way too much money to enter numbers into a computer, then go with Quantum Accounting. If you're looking for someone to provide actual accounting services then look elsewhere.

I have been a client of Quantum Accounting for about ten years now. To date I have nothing but praise for the work they've done for me, and continue to do. Marianna has always answered my questions and helped me out extensively. I owe the high level of organization in my small creative business to the assistance and advice of Marianna and her staff. I was originally put in contact with Quantum Accounting by a fellow entrepreneurial friend who also operates a small creative business. I'm really happy about that connection and have no plans to gather accounting services anywhere else. I definitely recommend Quantum and am more than happy to continue working with them year after year.

Do yourself a favour and stay far away from this company!!! I was a client for a couple years and recently found out they did not file our GST returns despite repeated assurances from Marianna, so the CRA stated we owed over $8000 because they weren't filed at all. When I asked for them to please file our returns and fix this like they promised, she quit and then sent all of our private banking and personal documents to the wrong address! Very unprofessional considering we paid for those returns to be filed and she accepts zero responsibility for her mistake.

Unfortunately not a good service. Marianna was great until she received payment, then her attitude changed for the worse. I have a very simple tax return, but rudimentary mistakes were made, which I can only say was due to lack of care and attention. When Revenue canada contacted me with several indiscrepancies I contacted Quantum. Marianna sent me curt and un-helpful e mail, and did nothing to rectify the problems or even answer my questions. She did not return any of my calls. In my opinion, this company did not do the job I paid them to do.

Marianna and her team have been doing my personal and corporate taxes for more than a decade. She's always been professional, courteous and provided me with sound, consistent advice on my taxes. I trust her to handle the complexities of my tax situation and she's always turned things around quickly. She answers my questions, gives me tips on how to better manage my business funds, and makes things easy. I couldn't be happier!

I had been a client for two years. They are affordable but are lacking in communication and details. I had booked a training session and when I came in from out of town they had forgotten. The secretary just shrugged her shoulders and ask if I wanted to book an appointment. I tried to explain I already did, that's why I was there. It was booked three weeks in advance. That was the last straw for me.

What ever you do, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!! Save yourself the headache and the mind boggling drama this company creates. Specifically, the company is run by the most unprofessional individual (Marianna) I've ever come across- undependable with horrible communication skills. There is a reason why the reviews are at 1 stars!!! They're all true!!!!!

Oh, what a relief to know it wasn't just us. We decided to leave Quantum when Socorro left. Marianna has not even sent our new accounting firm our stuff-only the back up.... So unprofessional. So immature, she would not even take our calls. And months later, we are still having problems thanks to quantum.
