I was really surprised by my experience at RADs today and wanted to share if helpful for others. I was helping my friend pick out an engagement ring who was less familiar but DEFINITELY looking for a ring (her boyfriend and her already started looking for a couple of weeks) and I decided to go here because of the great reviews. When we got there, we were asking a bunch of questions about stone type (e.g., round, cushion, etc.) and then band designs. After trying 2-3 rings, when my friend asked if she could try a wedding band with an engagement ring to know what it looked like, the person replied brusquely, "I just want to make sure you are serious buyers. The way you are asking questions seems like you're not serious and you are just trying on but not going to purchase" and then walked away and sat down in the back of the room. He then also mentioned "we are closing soon" (which was true - i called ahead to ask if it was okay). I was shocked. I have been in many diamond stores as I am looking for rings myself and everyone is patient and kind - they know that people go to multiple stores to understand what they like. That is the point of going in store. I was embarrassed i even suggested to my friend to go here and i could tell she felt really bad for something she shouldn't have. After he said that, we left shortly after (it was past closing too). Before leaving, i told the other person (who was nice) that we are serious buyers and i didn't think we needed to verbalize it. I guess for other reviews, if you know exactly what you want and you go right to what the transaction is, then i guess they are friendly but i would not recommend this place to a friend in the future.

I usually don't write reviews but I have to in this case. I was shopping for an engagement ring for my fiancé (she said yes!!) and was concerned because I didn’t know much about jewelry and diamonds in particular. My family recommended RADS Jewelry in Yorkville and I booked an appointment. The help and knowledge I received from the team here was exceptional. They understood my situation and Mohammad in particular went way beyond my expectations to find what I was looking for. Don't be scared of the location either as I was able to get a much better diamond for much less than a couple other stores I had visited prior. I owe a lot to the team at RADS Jewelry and will definitely be going back to them for all my future needs. Sorry Mohammad but I'll be back lol

Staff is unprofessional and rude. Make sure you know exactly what you want if you decide to go into this store. Questions are not allowed unless you want to go through a bad and awkward moment, if you have doubts apparently is a waste of time for them to explain. You have no rights as a customer even after purchase, you can’t question anything, not even if you do it politely. They gave me and my wife the worst experience we ever had so far in Toronto and wouldn’t like anyone else to go through this. There are millions jewelry in town guys, seriously this is not the one you want to go through. Spend your money and your time in a place that you would feel appreciated and happy as a customer and honestly this is not that place.

Rads was nothing short of a wonderful experience. Aside from being a true professional, Mohammed is a highly knowledgeable and genuine person who consistently provides stellar customer service. He helped my (future) husband find the perfect engagement/wedding band ring set. He truly cares about what you are looking for and works within your budget and ideals to find the perfect rings. He also ensured we had all the necessary information to make an educated decision. We never felt pressured during the entire buying process. I highly recommend Rads. I look forward to returning there for a milestone anniversary band in the future.

Been going to back here several times since I heard about them earlier in the year. I got my engagement ring from here, as well as wedding bands. Great rates on all items that I purchased, I would recommend this place 100%. Great customer service, can ask as many questions as you want, they don't pressure you to make a purchase, and are always willing to let you change your mind if needed.
