"Very poor customer service I went to this branch on July the second I spoked with Mss Leta Pinto regarding an appoint with my financial planner And I been asked if I want the appointment in person or a phone call and if I wanted in person would be in the afternoon Tuesday because his agenda was full for that"
"The Manager of the Branch, absolutely shocking customer service"
"Just open up a bank account the other day inside the branch, and i stop at this location to open up a business account and this old lady look at me And told me no branch is allow no one to come in and open up account i told that is not true because i just open up one the others day, she was not polite about it so i decide to go back to where i open my account and where i was nicely treated"
"Worst customer service I have ever experienced from a large Bank"
"Great service! I went to so different branch and always come back to this one"
Very poor customer service I went to this branch on July the second I spoked with Mss Leta Pinto regarding an appoint with my financial planner And I been asked if I want the appointment in person or a phone call and if I wanted in person would be in the afternoon Tuesday because his agenda was full for that. Next Monday I agreed for 1 pm in the fowling Tuesday I did show up before time on that Tuesday July the 5 at Miss Leta Pinto Desk I was told to take a seat Mr Mark Simoes will see me soon is available Then 20 minutes later she came I told me that MR.Simoes was not in the branch yet so she called him and his wife answer the phone saying that MR Simoes was taking a shower and will be at this branch in 20 minutes .I found this very strange but i keep waiting until 5 past 2 pm I stand up and went to speak with one of the cashier About the situation , Again I was told that Miss Leta Pinto was out for lunch Other financial planner was introduced saying if I can wait she will help me soon she was done with other costumer unfortunately I could not Waite any longer due I had to my work It’s very sad that we have a person making this kinds of mistakes with so much technology in front that would make life so easy to everyone
The Manager of the Branch, absolutely shocking customer service. Didn't try to help what so ever, handed me a leaflet on how to make a complaint. On the opening page it read's. "We all stand to gain from open communications. Whether it's used to answer a question, solve a problem or share a success, communication is the key". The Manager Mr's Smith chosen method of communication was to pass on the issue. I'm not fully aware of the role of a Manager at RBC, but I'm fairly sure in this situation after choosing RBC as my banking institution I deserve more than a leaflet on how to make a complaint.
Just open up a bank account the other day inside the branch, and i stop at this location to open up a business account and this old lady look at me And told me no branch is allow no one to come in and open up account i told that is not true because i just open up one the others day, she was not polite about it so i decide to go back to where i open my account and where i was nicely treated. If you want to be treated nicely i suggest not coming to this branch. We are all going through these hard times because of this Pandemic so i suggest they need to treat people Nicely and with respect.
Worst customer service I have ever experienced from a large Bank. So difficult to speak with anybody at the branch. Wait times are horrendous on phone and in person. If you send them an email they don't acknowledge it. All I get are excuses of why things take so long. For a company that makes over $2B net income per quarter, this should not be happening. Hopefully, other RBC branches are better.
Great service! I went to so different branch and always come back to this one. Samantha Correia was great! She helped with info and all my questions. I had also another questions and the manager (Sorry but not sure his name) and Samantha helped with great information and kindness. I’d like to thank both for your help and definitely would come back for any questions I have. Thanks again!
Generally speaking, it's not a great banking experience. Some reps are nice but overall I'm not a fan. There's always a line, it's slow and they could use more people behind the counter. (Not the employees fault but it still sucks as a customer.) Also they lock the front door at closing time so you can't access the ATM after store hours (even though there's another set of doors.)
I got a scammed and I was so scared if something more happens, Maria, adviser helped me so much. It was so smooth and even she withdraw a cash which I was stolen. Because I am here as an international student, even 100 dollars are so important. That was so thankful. Margaret, she was also kind and nice personality and her smiles made me relief. Thank you so much.
I've always had good experiences at this branch, but I was ESPECIALLY struck by one particular person, Allison, who (after finding out I had been married the week before and sharing a nice chat with me) went out of her way to send us a lovely and very thoughtful, handwritten card from RBC. Allison is a gem, and I sincerely hope RBC appreciates her.
An employee at this branch told my friend to 'go die' for telling folks the truth about RBC's obscene fossil fuel financing. An institution that encourages harm to youth demanding a livable future is not one I would trust my money with. Until RBC gets serious about the climate crisis, I discourage everyone from banking with them.
I have fraud attack and went to three branches to fix it. They just did one step and made me go back home for different excuses. Finally in this branch one of the staff helped me and explained everything, answering all of my questions with big smile. Today I came back there for another service and good experience was repeated.
I dealt with two different financial advisors at this branch regarding the same issue. When I questioned one about why her information was so different from what the other one had told me so stated, “take it up with her”. This was regarding a withdrawal from an RESP account. As for speaking with a manger at a branch good luck!
I am newcomer to Canada and RBC team helped me like anything. Their service is amazing and really helpful. Today I went to one of the RBC branch nearby, 972 Bloor St W, Toronto, ON M6H 1L6, Canada, one of the staff helped us to complete the process in a well and explanatory manner. Their service is much appreciated.
RBC is one of the top global investors in fossil fuel projects, with over $200billion invested in fossil fuel projects since 2016 (when the Paris Agreement was signed). The climate crisis - a global crisis that is happening, and has been happening for some time - will have drastic effects on future generations.
My concerns stem from the fact the RBC continues to invest billions of dollars into fossil fuel industries, making them one of the top contributors to climate change in the world. I don't want to bank at an institution that isn't trying to contribute to a better, more sustainable future for all.
RBC has the unfortunate honour of being the 5th largest financier of climate change in the world. They have invested more than $2 billion into fossil fuel industries since 2016. I care about climate change and I don't want Canada's banks to have such a terrible global role in climate change.
Fatima Boran, banking “advisor” gave my family the worst possible experience at the branch today. Enough to transfer all our accounts personal and business and years of loyalty to Scotia bank. Fatima Boran takes things personal and talked in a degrading tone . Utterly disgusting encounter.
Came to this branch on the weekend to use the ATM. It was after hours and typically you have to enter your card to enter the foyer to use the ATM's. Definitely disappointed as the door would not open. I would suggest that the branch have that looked at to avoid any customer service issues
I am long overdue with leaving this review. We were in a couple months ago and had exceptional service from Samantha (i believe thats her name). She was super helpful, quick, efficient and remebered us from past transactions. THANK YOU!! hope to see you again in the new year
Very understanding team who goes full out to get their client where they need to be. Felt like I was in a therapist office with all the trouble the other clients were facing but each teller listened & offered solutions with no judgement and a smile or pleasant tone.
This ATM is no longer open after business hours. Unfortunately homeless people will hang out by the entrance. Security does nothing. The smell is often horrible. RBC made over $40 BILLION over the past 12 months; they should be able to afford cleaners.
Busy area that is very exposed, up a flight of stairs hard to park, almost ran over a cyclist trying to park. That was all before getting inside to the ATM. Not a criticism of the bank or employees but not a great place to stop and grab a wad of cash.
ATM closes at 5 and isn’t even open on weekends. Convenient. Good luck getting cash or making a deposit if you have a job. I guess they want you to use ‘out of network’ ATMs so they can charge $3.50 every time you want to access your
They went above and beyond by opening an account for me less than an hour before closing on a Saturday, while other two RBC branches could only schedule for the next week. Special thanks to Surbhi Sachdeva for their exceptional service!
Had an appointment for 12. Got a text reminder and an email reminder about my appointment. Arrived 5 minutes early. Waited just over 50 minutes. I’m writing as I leave. How can a company so profitable provide such appalling service?
I have recently started using the branch in person for my business account. I have received exceptional service from the managers Abraham and Maria. The exceptional tellers like Karen are always helpful.
I went in Thursday before Canada Day to open an account , I was told I had to make a appointment . The manager ( I believe) came over and said we will take you in 1hour . Wonderful Service!
Awesome Guys, all of them are very nice especially Oma, Nick, John, Samantha, Paula, Maria, Karen, Dale, Asad, Margaret sorry if I write your names wrong Thank you guys …
Great experience, Karen (sorry if i got the name wrong) at teller desk was very helpful, explained everything nicely, and processed request quickly. Thank you
Business services at this branch is always on and off. Not friendly and convenient for business accounts. Carry your business cash in their not ending lines.
Their mechanism for accessing the ATM after hours is broken and the staff didn't think it's the branches responsibility to get it fixed
Can’t access the ATMs at this location on Sunday. Ridiculous. They’re also locked up after 5pm every other day. Super inconvenient.
The manager called back and explained the entire small and medium business offering. Great employee at the Bloor and Yonge Office.
Slowest bank in the history of RBC. People have to wait at least 15-20 mins to get to the counter. Why don’t you hire people?
Tends to be understaffed. Offices empty and hallways are blocked by sofas. Probably on its way to getting shuttered.
Holy incompetence. Never have I ever received such terrible continued service from a series of tellers and advisors.
Worst bank in canada to have a account. Not customer friendly. Highly recommended to have no account in this bank
can't access atm's after business hours. PLEASE revert. Why is it 9-6 on a friday and not any other days?
Lightning fast service, no line at all. A teller was very friendly and helpful.
I have never had any challenge using their credit card .
Why is the ATM closed, most ridicules bank
