One of the branch(bank no.003) of RBC In cougar court has employees who are fraudsters. I had my business account opened there through the 20% partner of mine who is a Canadian. I am the main owner with 80% share. She had opened company account in this RBC branch and I had no idea as me being a non-resident that she had her gang settled in that branch. When I got suspicious about her intentions, I had written to the bank for not allowing any transactions of withdrawal or transfer without my permission, and I had changed the account settings as well to stop withdrawals or transfers, but they deliberately overlooked that message and helped her withdraw and transfer all my company funds to her personal account in india and also changed the login credentials with which company used to login to online rbc company account. They changed the email ID to her personal email ID. All this happened without letting me know and without my permission. As soon as I received notifications in email, I started calling them from KSA to the bank branch, and they kept me waiting for so long after hearing my case and deliberately disconnected the calls afterwards without any reply or response. I called several times and same thing happened and every time different executives answering my call. Though I kept reiterating it to them, they did not do anything for it. I kept recharging my phone balance to continue calling them and it costed me hundreds of dollars as International calling is costly. that day was the unforgettable day as I had the full customers commitment to make for the full year but had no money left in account to do so. FRAUDSTERS!!! I had invested my hard earned money & sweat, in my business for 4 years as it was my sole proprietorship business. Then 5 th year I agreed to register in Canada with that partner for some minimum capital share for getting 20% share, which she refused to pay as well, as soon as bank account was opened. I had asked all my existing customers to make payments in this rbc account as it was the company account. Unfortunately, I had no idea that she was scamming me and is fraudster with a gang placed even in banks. As I am not a Canadian resident, I could not be physically present there to take legal action against bank and that partner. However, it’s an extremely awful, horrible experience with RBC and totally lost trust in Canadian banks. That partner is a hacker I guess and with the help of corrupt RBC bank employees she is scamming innocent people. If RBC management team is reading this, then I request you to take action against those fraud employees and the customer named D****** K****** who is a fraudster and head of all these activities. She has her account in your bank itself. You can DM me so I can give you all details and proofs for investigation.
Drove 4 hours to purchase a car with a bank draft. This branch is the seller’s bank. Myself and the seller walked into the bank to deposit the money. The 2 ladies behind the desk said rather rudely “we can’t deposit this”. I said “what do you mean?, it’s a bank draft”. She said “it takes 5 days”. I said “can you call my bank?” She said “no, we don’t do that”. You don’t make phone calls? Wow, well that’s nice to know. I was told a bank draft is as good as cash. Makes me wonder if these ladies were just rude and lazy and didn’t want to do their job. They were quite rude and dismissive. So instead, because these 2 employees were so rude and unhelpful, we had to call my bank and get them to email an authorization form so we could e-transfer the entire amount directly into the sellers bank account. If it wasn’t for my bank being able to email us the form so we could do an e-transfer instead, I would’ve had to drive all the way back home and he would’ve sold the car to someone else. What an incredibly stressful situation just because these employees sucked. This is why we no longer deal with RBC. Garbage customer service. And if any manager is reading this comment, you can find out exactly who was working behind the counter that day. December 8th, roughly around 3pm.
My daughter and son-in-law had an incredibly unsettling experience at this branch. The staff humiliated them in front of other patrons, would not explain themselves and their actions and asked them to remove themselves from the branch and to not return. They had simply opened an account online and went in to authenticate. They saw a teller who asked them to wait, a financial advisor then confronted them and told them to leave the bank (didn't bring them into an office) and said they would not be authenticating anything. When asked why, the financial analyst said it was 'highly confidential'. She instructed them to call the head office. The head office told them to go to the bank - they weren't 'allowed' to tell them anything. The branch called to cancel the appt they had made with the manager for the next day at 4:00 and were told not to come into the branch. The BIG secret confidential issue that took 2 days to find out, was an ADDRESS QUESTION. That was it - the 'highly' confidential issue. This was the cause of humiliation and worry for my daughter, 8 1/2 months pregnant and her husband. This branch needs some serious customer service training.
I came into the branch asking one of the Tellers (Joyce) if I can open an account. I assumed since it was to open account, I would have to speak with an advisor, and not a teller. She asked me to stand in line, but I wanted to clarify if I can open an account with the teller, she confirmed that I can. After waiting 15 mins in line and seeing Joyce again, she she’s everyone is booked out and that I had to make an appointment. My issue with this is that she could have told me that I would have to make an appointment and that all advisors are busy, I would have came another time. But she was inconsiderate of my time. Not only was she inconsiderate, she was also rude. She said what can I expect coming into a small branch, of course I would have to make an appointment, as if I should already know this? I will never be doing business with this branch ever. First and last experience leaving me with a sour experience. I hope this branch can invest in training their employees on how to deal with their clients.
Came in to deal with an estate matter regarding a deceased family member. I didn't know RBC hired individuals that lack Interpersonal skills & regard for sensitive matters. What would have been an easy 30 mins in assisting us with a very simple and non compliance task ended up taking 1 hour+. As someone who has a finance background, this was just mind boggling and disappointing. The individual who was assisting us, used a tone that was degrading and authoritative. 0 listening skills, 100% argumentative. Later he realized his error in judgement, and apologized to perhaps save me from posting this review...however despite that it will never be appropriate to treat clients in any manner such as he did. Will be moving branches even if it is inconvenient for me.
Absolutely horrible customer service. The website and customer service reps on the phone tell you one thing then branch staff refuse to help you because they say you haven’t brought the right documents. I was told by the customer service rep my documents would suffice then I get there and I need another one. On top of that I set up an account online and went to get it activated and none of the info I put in online shows up on their system so my account never actually opened. This is ridiculous. There is clearly a disconnect when it comes to online and in person processing. Please review your system. You’re a bank that shouldn’t be happening.
This is the worst branch I have ever used. Nobody there is helpful. I asked about renewing my mortgage; nobody ever got back to me. I deposited two large bank drafts, and they put a hold on the money for 5 days, which they call 4 days. Since when do we need holds on bank drafts. Banks used to call the other financial institutions to confirm the draft, but not at this branch. Once my situation changes, I look forward to never dealing with this bank again.
Nice and clean, no line up's, great staff. Love the atmosphere and I have been going there for 18 years. Love the VIP service that is available. Generally this bank has never lrt me down. Give respect, get respect. Atm machines x2, staff on hand to help your banking and paying bills. All I can say is check it out for yourself. RBC. Banking at its best. Peace ✌️.
Worst customer service on June 15,2023. Folks seem so entitled and pretend as if they are doing a favor. After this, I would never bank with RBC. Not sure why such attitude!!
Don't answer phones and incapable of returning a phone call in a timely and appropriate manner!!!
