If you wanna have a good night, don't come here on the weekends. They hired a bunch of rude bouncers that harass you on the way into the bar and inside the bar. Especially that Chris Rosales douche from Alamo City "Protection" Squad. He takes protection SOUPER SRSLY. He's got some sort of god complex and is trigger happy and wants to provoke you into some sort of breach of the peace so he has an excuse to arrest you or your friends. He acts like he's a cop and completely ruins the mood of going into the bar. Then inside the bar, a giant bouncer puts his hand on your chest and pushes you into the wall, as if he has the right to touch you, and asks why your hat is slightly tilted. I didn't appreciate my friends and I being treated like criminals just for trying to have a good night. The "junkyard guard dogs" this bar hired needs to be put into check. They had zero right to do half the things they did to us. The bar staff was nice but I'm not going to this place again.

Unprofessional as evidenced by the owner's comment. To give the public an accurate representation so they can make their own mind up, my husband went *back to his car (after being in the bar already for an hour) to get equipment for a band that was performing a tribute concert for a local musician who recently passed away. Not realizing he had a **pocket knife *** clipped to his jeans, he was stopped and the security guard accused him of trying to sneak in to the venue. ?? He took the pocket knife and again walked back to the car to leave it. When returning (again) He explained his wife was in the bar already and if they would look they would see that. They made the decision to accuse him of lying about me being there even though no one checked. Did a full search of him and would only allow him back in if he Apologized! to the security guard. Leaving a deserving review is not taking the low road, even if it hurts feelings. No apology this time.

I went to Rebar to attend a baby shower. The area was spacious, functional, and aesthetically pleasing, with direct access to the outdoor patio for smokers. There was ample parking, and the host had no problem getting around in her wheelchair. I never even knew they rented out venue space for functions/events like that, and from what I understand, it was quite affordable. Despite the guest of honor being a no-show, the future father was there for the duration, and the event was a success. Everyone seemed to have a great time! I would recommend Rebar to anyone looking for a venue to host am their event or gathering.

I came in and asked for a crown and Coke and a small glass. I was served a larger 6 oz glass. I myself am a bartender and ALE certified from North carolina. When I asked the bartender why I was not giving a rocks class, I was told I asked for a small glass and what I had was a small glass. I strongly urge anyone that knows what they want, do not go to this establishment in this town. I watched the pores, they were way under what they should have been. I was charged $18 and some change for under pours. Worst service I've ever had.

It was not the wrost spot that I've ever been to. However, one of the bartenders lost our debit card and did not handle it in a professional manner at all. And on top of that she lost three others......when asked to speak to the manager she said she was the manager and refused to provide us information about the owner. Being that she was the manager she did not have any people skills, cursed and looked horrible. But a total of 4 for the night??? I'm sorry she should not be working as a cashier or just in general at all.

Super great place to hangout as a visitor or a local. Great mix of people. Bands on weekends and DJ in the front. The vibe is very good all over. It flows from different parts of the space. Outside ping-pong foosball with TVs. Inside modern jukebox. Band in one area and pool table in another. The seating is comfy like a lounge and easy to find a spot to connect with friends or take a break from things.... And there may be a routine Wednesday night cover band duo that plays electic acoustic and saxaphone. They rock!

I love this place. Its very cozy. A good neighborhood bar and good food specials.. that being said they need to learn how to make an old fashion the right way so here yall go lol Add the sugar and bitters to a rocks glass, then add the water, and stir until the sugar is nearly dissolved. Fill the glass with large ice cubes, add the bourbon, and gently stir to combine. Express the oil of an orange twist over the glass, then drop into the glass to garnish.

There is enough variance in seating and vibes that there can be something for everyone here. From the outdoor patio sports bar vibe to the indoor bar seating, which gives clean dive bar vibes, and finally, the section with mismatched upholstered chairs and leather sofas with several ecclectic paintings. Very comfy! The drinks and service are good, and I will definitely be back.

Use to love coming here for HH, but recently not anymore, the small girl that always has pig tails or a pony behind the bar is disgusting. she always just sounds drunk but the worst part is she smokes behind the bar blowing it in our face, or comes around to sit down with her friends i assume to drink. it’s just so disgusting to have smoke blown on me when i don’t even smoke, then wait 25 min to close my tab. i guess it’s back to bentleys.

Evidently first time was a charm.. waited 11 min at the bar, not a soul in the place, finally went to find a bartender, she said I should have come and found her, I said not my job, she waved at me and said have a good day. Last day ever here. This was my first visit. Go past all the time. Loved the place, great atmosphere, loved the sofas and chairs amongst the tables. Big outdoor patio. Friendly staff. I will stop again on a regular now.

Between having a live band and a DJ in different corners of practically the same room, a really creepy bartender, the pool table in a room that doesn't allow for you to take a proper shot, an 8-ball that's been missing for 3 months, the bar really did not live up to the hype and the reputation I heard. They have dingy beat up couches and chairs in multiple rooms which made me feel like I was in a musty antique shop.

Went on a random Tuesday night and they had two DJs spinning records and jamming out to old school 80's rock, rap and dance music. The bets were cheap and it want packed but still one of the best Tuesday nights I've had in a while. The door man even lit a fire on the back deck for the smokers to stay warm. I would like to see this place on a Friday our Saturday night, jam packed...

Been here a few times in the last few years always been a chill place and introduced new people here too. But I left my card there last weekend and I was charged gratuity for leaving my card. That’s fine. But now I see not only was I charged 7.40 in gratuity which is on my receipt, but 20 dollars on top of that. I won’t patronize a scamming business; hope the 20 bucks was worth it

Steele was our bartender. He was very friendly & made me a lovely dirty martini. I’m writing this because I was so shocked that I saw him pour ice in the martini glass. I was like oh no martinis don’t have ice. Then he poured out the ice and pours my drink in. This guy totally chilled my glass before pouring my drink. This is so superb for a “dive” bar. Ok thanks bye!

Had a great time here last night. The jams were fun the vibe was right. The bartender treated my friends and I very good so I made sure to give a 40 dollar tip for taking care of us. My tab at the end of the night wasn't to bad. I will definitely be back in the future with my friends and I'll be sure to tell people the vibe there is nice and they treat you right.

It was my first time here and I have to say it was a nice place. It was a slow Thursday but the bartender was friendly and the people I meet were so nice. I played pool with a friend and got hustled and there were nice lounge chairs to relax on. Definitely a place I would come back to. It looks like it would be a fun place for a Saturday night out.

I like the coming here but it's so hard to even get inside when so many people are standing by the front door. It's a struggle to get in so when I do go I usually just sit in the back by the pool tables which stops me from enjoying the full experience. The music is great along with to he bar service but hard to enjoy when I'm sitting in between.

Came in from out of state on a Tuesday night about 11 was all but dead. As the night rolling on kept picking up. Good tunes jammin and friendly enough under 40 crowd. Good drink specials $3.50 jack & cokes and up to now my glass hasn't been empty under 3 minutes. I will definately hit them up next time I come to town.

This is a cool bar with a pretty good.beer selection. The outdoor seating is really what makes this place what it is. There is a small patio out front and a larger one out back. The prices are reasonable and the bartenders are friendly. It has the neighborhood bar feel without being a dingy dive.

Rebar has been around for years. Its a casual bar with a easy going atmosphere. Pleanty of seating inside and outside. Serves mixed drinks, bottle and draft beer. Occasional live music performances by local artist and cover bands. The only down side is the small lot for parking behind the bar.

I really like this bar a whole lot. But, I think they need to spruce up the patio floor in the back. Its hard to walk in high heels. Especially after a few drinks. I almost munched it saturday night because the bricks on the ground are sunk in and uneven. Be careful in those heels ladies!

Came on a weeknight with my friend and it was nice and quiet and relaxed. We were able to sit outside and chit chat, and moved inside to their comfy couches when we got some cigarette smoke. Overall very chill and I would come back here again. Just not sure how it is on weekends.

I actually had a good time! Dj Cee Jay played hip hop music with the matching video was up on several tv's. Mixed age group. 3 Hired security officers walking around outside and inside. Big outdoor rear patio and a person on the grill cooking bbq.The bar gets crowded after 11pm.

The place feels like four clubs all in one building, packed, and people were pretty trashed when we stopped by about one; well drinks were pretty pricey and I believe reading that they had a decent beer selection but neither myself or husband were too impressed.

Best bar I’ve been to in awhile! Loved the live Dj. They have bar, outside, couch seating. We personally love the couch seats near the pool table. This last time we went they had a taco stand outside! Definitely enjoy my time here each and every time!

The bar itself is an awesome place to chill. The bartenders on the other hand; they are great girls but trying to order a drink took some time. They were always on the patio. I like the cozy feeling of the bar most definitely.

Always have fun at ReBar it's not like other bars or clubs. Variety of music and the singer for the rock area she has a VOICE that needs to be heard..... DJ in the hip hop section is awesome kept the music coming.

Had a good time here. It was less busy than normal for a Friday with a dj present but the inside was nice and had a cool motif. The outside has a lot of seating and it's own bar. I'd recommend going here

Haven't been back here since 2006, so it's been 13 years. The back patio has improved immensely. I used to sit outside under the tree in a plastic chair. I'm glad my beer money has gone to good use!

It's a dingy place. Beer is $4.50...After 11, it gets wayyyy too packed with very young adults. Music was blah. The bartender was nice and accommodating.

They automatically add 20% gratuity to your bill then have more suggested gratuity at the bottom of your bill so if you don’t pay attention beware.
