If I could give them 0 stars to warn the entire world about them I would. We got into a contract to sell one of our income properties with REI, they perused us, very aggressively. We stated from the beginning it was being sold “As-Is” with the tenant. The first 2 guys we talked to AND the original sales contract both said they will take possession of the house AND the tenant and the lease. Cool. Well it came time for closing and suddenly the tenant had to be notified that we were selling, so we did that. Then BEFORE we closed, Michael, the owner called our tenant and essentially harassed her and made her sign a paper saying she would move out in 60 days. At this point we are 10 days past closing, they have everything they want, but suddenly we get ghosted and haven’t heard from them since. They would return calls or texts to us or the title company. Do your research with this one. Michael Candelario is a fraud and has to history to prove it. Save your self the headache and the financial burden or selling your home to REI House Buyers.

I'm a local handyman who serviced a request on a urgent basis to repair items at a property. When completed I sent pictures and they said they were satisfied. Now they do not want to finish the transaction of payment. I have heard one excuse after the another. As a veteran I've try believe this company would operate with honor and good faith, but they have not and does seem they will. Warning to others. This company doesn't seem to have good business practices. Update, I was finally paid for my services with an apology. Lesson learned on both sides.

Literally never had 1 issue, it's hard to find a business willing to go the extra mile and they surpassed any expectation I had. My house needed tons of work and I didn’t had the energy or time to do it. They saw the house and made an offer which was respectful. We discussed in the family and decided to take it.
