Been in and out of marine keeping for 10 years and I've been to a fair few shops. When I got back into the hobby I believe radicals was on its infancy but my god from day 1, Andy and his team have been amazing. Whether is help advice or just a chat radicals is the place to go. You're not going to find anyone out there who's going to go further than Andy. I've known him answer messages in the early hours and I'm sure a few times he's actually been out of pocket sorting me out. He's amazing with my son whenever we go into store even offering to give him the Nemo cushion that lives there. It's all good saying Andy is great but what about his products? Second to none is the answer. Andy would rather not sell you something if it's not right. He will also happily reserve you live stock until 1. He's happy it's ready and 2. You are ready. I think my clam was in the shop for 5 weeks before I took it home. If you really need a true reflection of just how good radical reefs is look at the reaction from other marine shops around the country. They are matching deals and being challenged by Andy and the team daily. Free RO water, fish guarantees, even fish quarantine. In summary. THIS STORE IS AWESOME! The shop and staff alike are so accommodating and no question was too much, While in the local area visiting freinds for the weekend I HAD TO plan a trip into RR as I have been dying to actually see the store and meet the team. The selection of livestock both Salt and Fresh water was some of the best quality I have seen directly in a store, picked up some stunning goni frags and a beautiful little leopard wrasse, having a 4 hour eta (ended up 5 and a half with traffic) journey home Andy took no risk and ensure everything was polyboxed with heat packs to ensure all arrived home safely. One thing I can say is now having seen their operation I can ordered online without any fear or worry! If anyone is reading this second guessing ordering online, I can assure you would not be disappointed, why not take the trip up if your from down south like myself their Fresh water setup and in door pond almost made me want to start up fresh again Thanks again RR Andy & Team

I have visited many fish and aquarium shops but RadicalReef is by far the best of them. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. The prices are really good. The shop is nice and clean. I visited them twice and was served by different members of staff and both of them were really helpful. One of the nice things which I love is when you want to leave the shop everyone says greetings to you and thank you on the way out. Fantastic staff. Their Facebook is very active which is very positive and nice. I hope they carry on doing live videos as well. I also wish that the tropical part of the shop gets completed faster to see more freshwater fish in the shop soon. They take orders on fish they don't have and source it for you if you need to. Another nice thing would be if they could have the tropical items and live stock on their website too. Going to visit them soon to buy some driftwood for my fish tank.

I bought my Red Sea 425 XL through Radical Reefs in Leeds and couldn’t be any happier with it and the service I received. The tank arrived very early in the morning and Andy and the team had asked me to let them know when it had arrived. Within 30 mins of the tank arriving Andy & Sam had arrived to help me and my brother bring the tank in. I live in an apartment and we had a plan on how the tank would be brought in. Throughout the day Radical Reefs were on hand to provide expert advice in terms of the switch over. I wanted to do the tank transfer as I knew this was a learning experience and all part of the journey although Radical Reefs do offer this service too. Not long after I was to move to a bigger apartment above me and Radical Reefs even offered support in that move too. If you are looking for a reef tank upgrade choose Radical Reefs. I would recommend them every time.

Andy and Katie at Radical Reefs are the gold standard for customer service. They clearly care a lot about the livestock they send out, with each of my two deliveries now arriving well packaged, with excellent specimens that I would have chosen myself. As well as being incredibly competitively priced, Radical Reefs go the extra mile to ensure the best customer experience. When part of my livestock order wasn't available, they despatched the remainder of my order so that I was able to recieve my new tankmates as soon as possible - all at no extra cost to me. I did experience one little issue outside of their control, but it was fixed in a flash without a second of hesitation. Despite loving my own local LFS, there's nowhere other than Radical Reefs that I would get my cleanup crew from.

Went in today for some tropical fish the selection wasn't huge like your classic pet shop however the quality of there fish and the care they put in makes the place superior I'm not sure of the man's name that helped me and my partner with our selection but he is one of the most passionate helpful people you could ever hope to get his knowledge is amazing and you get a nice little lesson on things from him he 100% puts you first and is a credit to the store I'm sure all the colleagues are just as great and passionate about the job you should all be proud of yourself for being part of something so beautiful and special Will definitely be going again and 10000000% recommend the place to anybody interested in fish

In my view the best shop in the country for specialist marine aquatics. I keep a venomous marine aquarium and with the help of Katie I have sourced some unsual Scorpainde fish for it. Nothing seems to be too much for them and they put up with a multitude of questions and requests from myself. I'm going to pop in the car this year and do the two hour drive up to see them from the Midlands. If you're after exceptional customer service, in depth knowledge and a selection like no other then you've found your place with Radical Aquatics. I've been to many, many aquatics shops in the UK trying to source venomous oddballs and not one comes close to the team that works here, highly recommended.

1st class service Extremely helpfull, knowledgeable,polit,and accommodating staff. I ordered corals on line , as i live in cardiff, had few questions to ask, shocked to find out how nice every one i spoke with, specailly Katie. Delivery was again unbelievabley quick, compared to other suppliers, as it arrived 7:30 am,that morning. a very important issue Radical has over come, is Labelling the parcel, it was marked clearly and all over, from, urgent , to live stock,this way up, priority, that other suppliers fail to address, which result sometimes in delivery being taken after 1 pm. Brilliant place for literally anything you need!! I have been a customer for a few years now and never fails to disappoint. I can assure you that you pay for quality. I bought a D-D reef pro Aquarium from Radical at Xmas. The whole process was smooth sailing, the only issue I have ever had was the delivery of the aquarium was a Kerb drop-off delivery (this is no fault of the company and discussed before the sale). Luckily I had people on hand to assist me but I’m sure Radical would have gone the extra mile to help if I needed it. The staff are always friendly and offer drinks when I arrive. Great customer service, quality coral & fish! 10/10

So we decided to make the next step and purchase our first Marine tank from Andy at Radical Aquatics, had a great welcome from Andy who has gave us a great deal and we can tell we are going to get some great help advice and support. Andy was very customer focused and is genuinely an amazing guy. So we have just had Danny out to do the install I genuinely cannot recommend him enough he was amazing polite and honest I really cannot thank him enough I really feel comfortable going forward and cannot wait to build a long standing relationship with them!! I ordered 3 Frontosa from here and I have to say I couldn’t be happier with them all 3 are quality all good and healthy and enjoying there new home. I would like to say a massive thank you to Danny for delivering them today even on his day off and also taking the time to bring them in and see there new tank ( that’s customer care and fish care at its very best ). Amazing shop with both a great marine and tropical section. Being offered tea or coffee on arrival was a nice touch. All the staff were great and really knowledgeable, answering all our questions and queries. We left with Kilis, 2 types of shrimp and Sunset Honey Gouramis. Will be back for sure when our third tank finally gets set up! Keep an eye out for Dory in the big tank just as you walk in! Now, if only I could find a way to sneak their Discus aquarium straight in the back of my car... Pics are from our home aquariums where everyone has settled in nicely!

Our one stop shop for everything! Last year we changed our predator tank to a reef, we have made some amazing purchases here and had some fantastic advice about everything including changing to coral essentials which has made the tank out of this world everything is so much healthier. The new food range is marvellous not a scrap left and all our fish are fat and healthy. Really impressed with this place, we didn’t know was there until we saw a post about the Aquafeast event on Facebook so decided to pop over for a visit. All the staff are super friendly, tanks all looked clean and all the fish really healthy, brilliant choice in corrals and competitive and reasonable prices. We don’t keep fresh water fish but went and had a nosy and they had a great selection and some unique oddball pieces too. Were just building up our salt water tank up slowly and will definitely be back for future purchases, Thank you

First visit today .. great staff met with a cheery hello(always a big plus in my book) and a free cappachino , beautiful coral tanks with stunning fish, also tropical in the back not a big range fish wise but its a new business and I'm sure they will expand on that at some point but they did have a few species you don't always see at other places and were happy to take requests for fish..not your average fish aquarium shop these guys are passionate and knowledgeable and love the hobby and its not just a job. If you want your tank to look like the photos below, this is the best place to go. And in my opinion, the only place. The customer service is the best I have ever had. The staff here know anything and everything relating to fish and more. The only reason I keep coming back is because of Andy and Katie and the staff here. Not had chance to visit the store personally so this is going on the online service, which is absolutely fantastic. Both Katie and Andy been a huge help for helping me select corals and fish as well as doing surprise mystery boxes if I didn’t know what I want hehe and that’s just brilliant. All livestock are happy, healthy and arrive well packed/safe. If you need anything, whether it’s fish, corals, advice or anything reefing related, go to these guys. Can’t praise them enough.

This place hands down for me is my go to fish shop for marine … Is it local to me not really, do I travel for an hour to and from most weekends yes. No request is to small or big for Andy and Katie and the customer service and fuss they make of me and everyone else’s is unparalleled hence why I keep going back. I would highly recommend this shop both Andy and his wife are very helpful. The staff at Radical Reefs are brilliant! Had an excellent experience here yesterday with Rob. The best centre in Yorkshire! Visited on Saturday . We are setting a tank up again! Katie ( I hope that's her name ) was wonderful, very helpful, friendly, and made you feel at home. Offered drinks whilst we looked around. The tanks themselves were extremely clean, and the fish were happy and healthy, too! I got my tank with the stand at this store and Daniel came to my house to fix everything for me. Daniel did a wonderful job and also put me through some other things. Always look for exciting sps frags, Always friendly whenever I walk in will always stay loyal as my go to shop as I've found other places can sometimes smoke screen you into buying things which I've had before and it certainly won't happen again. Probably one of the most knowledgeable and hard working people I've met in the marine hobby. Always ready to help with what ever problems you have. Took my water sample today and tested it fully in his own time at home to ensure that my water quality and test kit is fine. Called yesterday (Sunday) following a recommendation. Owner/staff were friendly and knowledgeable, the corals were very nice and just looked a bit more special than some other places, as well as being very reasonably priced. I bought 2 frags and got a third free (thank you) - all VERY nice. I’ll definitely be visiting here again & would recommend to anyone with a marine setup.

Only popped in for a look at the marine fish. Looked like it was going to be a small unit from the outside but was quite big inside. The staff were very nice. Got offered a coffee upon entering, a few of them asked if they could help us but were not pushy. Had plenty of fish in stock, marine, tropical, pond. The tanks were very clean. From what i saw i definitely recommend.

Radical Aquatics is by far the best place to visit for all things Saltwater and Tropical. Visited yesterday and had yet another fantastic experience from the team. Incredibly knowledgeable people that are extremely nice and happy to help with questions. Offered a drink on entry which you don't see anywhere else. Overall fantastic experience yet again! Dog friendly too!

It’s been a good few month since my last visit due to a fallow period but what can I say… it was like we were only there yesterday. As always Andy and the team make the effort to catch up and see how they can help. Shops changed quite a bit since my last visit but still super clean and plenty to choose from. Well worth a visit even just to see the DT.

Absolutely amazing I’m autistic and absolutely love fish was going to look around ended up buying a new filter and a snail staff are amazing and informative had an incredible array of freshwater fish and I’m sure just as good if not better saltwater ( never kept saltwater) definitely visiting again this will be my new regular shop going back tomorrow

Fantastic Shop. Andy has all the time in the world for you. All the staff are helpful, knowledgable and friendly. Stock and equipment is of high quality. To the point where they have sourced me all of my fish (some of it high end) on request and are continuing to do so. Same with equipment, if I’ve wanted it they have managed to get it. 5 stars.

I really think this shop need lots of praise for their service. Problem becomes no problem. They bend over backward to put any problems right. The livestock is first glass. The staff are polite and helpful. I will only ever use this shop online after some horror stories with some other shops. So give them a try you will not be disappointed.

There's nothing quite like good service, and this place has it! Everyone working here is passionate and very welcoming, always ready to help and teach you something new, my tank has been saved and it's all thanks to these people and their generosity, I can't thank them enough for it. Absolutely fantastic a big thank you to the radical team from me, had some struggles setting up my new tank, I couldn’t have done it without them. I spoke to Andy and he put on to Danny who came around to mine on several occasions to sort the issues what a great service and second to none knowledge from a highly professional team.

Great communication and fantastic all round service! Brilliant packaging and livestock all arrived in perfect condition, and were feeding within minutes of moving into their new environment. We pop in here quite often for fish, corals and equipment, the team are always friendly, helpful and efficient, they are always improving the shop which is nice to see that they reinvest in to the business. We get a coffee whilst we’re looking around which makes it more enjoyable.
