The Bocaccio hotel with the luggage storage service was across the street of our Airbnb. We went the night before to make sure how it works, prices, reservations (if any). The following morning we showed up and rang the doorbell once (it had a sign to only ring once) but nobody showed up. We rang it again and still nobody showed up, so we entered the hotel and there was no one at reception. We rang the bell that was at reception since there was no one around. A minute later a guy showed up and we asked about the luggage storage. He said he couldn’t help us because he was busy, and we had to leave and wait outside for somebody to show up at the luggage window. We told him that we rang the bell and nobody showed up, still he said he understands but he can’t help us and that we needed to wait at the luggage window for someone to come and help us. We went outside and rang the bell again (if you count it was the 3rd time) and then the same guy inside shows up at the window of the luggage storage saying “hi, how may I help you”. I got mad because I realized that it was the same guy that told us that he can’t help us and asked him “Aren’t you the same guy that told us to wait for someone else to help us because you weren’t associated with the luggage storage?” He said that we can’t be inside the hotel because of security reasons but that he could take care of us outside via the window. I was mad but because he could say that to us when we were inside instead of telling us that he can’t help us and that we have to wait for someone else to help us. We still decided to use the company because at this point we were kind of late for our prepaid tour. Anyways our luggage was fine but they need to get more employees (preferably customer service oriented). When we picked up our luggage later in the afternoon, the employee at the window was another one and was very kind.

Dejar las maletas fue menos que ideal. Siendo un servicio 24 hrs. esperaba que hubiera alguien listo para recibirlas. Tal vez no inmediatamente pero al presentarme para dejarlas poco antes de las 7 am no había nadie en la ventana marcada para recibir maletas. Esperé 5 minutos, toqué el timbre varias veces y nada. Entré al hotel y no había nadie en el mostrador. Toqué la campanilla del mostrador y tampoco salió nadie. Solo pude dar con el encargado porque le pregunté a otro huésped que me señaló una habitación junto al lobby. El encargado tenía música con un volumen alto que probablemente no le dejaba escuchar nada de lo que pasaba afuera. Al preguntarle sobre una reserva, me contestó de mala manera "YA VOY". Para esto ya habían pasado más de 10 minutos. Cuando finalmente me atendió con una actitud de hastío, no hizo caso del QR que se supone que debo mostrar, y me pidió la reserva completa. Cuando pude salir del hotel, habían pasado más de 15 minutos en un proceso que debería haber sido de 2-3. Una experiencia completamente diferente fue el recoger mi equipaje. Alrededor de las 6 pm fui por él y había otro chico, que me atendió en el acto, con una sonrisa y hasta bromeando. Me llevo una sensación doble. El servicio es conveniente, la reserva es fácil, pero siento que no puedes confiar en ellos si tienes alguna reserva sensible, como un tren. Mejor ir con tiempo y esperar que no estén de mal humor.

My family and I stored 20 bags at the Boccaccio Hotel in Florence, Italy by the Santa Maria Novella train station from 10am - 6pm so we could enjoy our last day in Florence. Our airbnb check out was at 10am and our train back to Rome was not until 8pm so we needed to find a place to store our bags so we didn’t need to lug them around town — radical storage was a life saver to say the least. The check in process was a breeze through the app. When we got to the hotel, there was a bit of a line but it was organized and ran efficiently. The hotel staff were kind, efficient, and organized despite all the incoming bags waiting to be stored. Bags were tagged and stored together behind the check-in desk of the hotel but the window for the drop off and pick up were separate from the hotel entrance (which I may add is open 24/7 and requires no prior reservation). Our family only made a reservation because we had 20+ bags to be stored and couldnt afford to be turned away in case they hit full capacity. 10/10 for this service, location, and convenience!

Booked luggage storage yhrough radicalstorage.com and prepaid. Their web site says they accept large bags. I had three that are small enough to check on airlined. I dropped off three bags this morning to store for three days. The storage site contacted me hours later and said my contract was cancelled and I needed to get my bags. They did not have room. Radical Storage was of no help. The "chat" links did not open on my Android phone. When I contacted support via e-mail, they said my contract was not cancelled. Later, PayPal issued a refund but I STILL have no cancellation and I got no help from support. In Boligna, try Bounce!

Abgabeort sehr nah am Bahnhof und gut zu finden. Die Abgabe erfolgt außen am Gebäude durch einen extra Schalter, es ist nicht erwünscht, dass die Gepäckkunden das Hotel betreten. Da wir vor Abgabe noch Sachen aus dem Koffer holen mussten, wurde es uns doch "erlaubt", das in der Hotellobby zu tun, der Servicemitarbeiter hätte aber etwas freundlicher sein können. Er war sichtlich gestresste durch den hohen Andrang vor dem Gepäckschalter. Bei Ankunft lange Schlange auf dem schmalen Bürgersteig. Ging dann aber schnell. Abholung abends sehr zügig und unproblematisch. Ich werde den Service bei Bedarf wieder nutzen.

Une serveuse très impolie qui ne dit pas bonjour a mis notre valise dans un local sale, absolument pas sécurisé ET SANS SCANNER LE QR CODE. Aucune preuve du dépôt de bagages. Aucune demande non plus de numéro lors du retrait du bagage. J'ai retrouvé ma valise pleine de traces de nourriture. RS ne répond pas aux mails de réclamation. FAITES TRES ATTENTION. Si votre bagage est égaré, vous n'aurez aucun recours. Service client de Radical Storage désinvolte et déplorable.

Very easy to book online just before we used the service. The allocated hotel was just around the corner from Santa Novella train station in central Florence, so very convenient. The hotel is up some stairs to the lift and then a lift to the 3rd floor. This was no problem for us as the lift was working. The steps may be a problem if you cannot carry your case up the first set of stairs to get to the lift (it wasn't a problem for us). The service was very quick and efficient both in dropping off the bags and collection. Good service and would use again.

Servizio impeccabile. Non ho gradito i 3,50 euro extra addebitati e non dichiarati in nessuna parte del preliminare. (13,50 in vece di 10€) Sicuramente erano scritti e non evidenziati. Così come l'indirizzo, che ho dovuto cercare nella pagina di conferma. Scritto piccolo e non visibilissimo sullo smartphone. Il navigatore ha funzionato a dovere e mi ha portato precisamente davanti al civico. Li ho dovuto cercare tra le varie strutture e non avendo visto bene il piano e il civico ho perso tempo. Servirebbe una diversa veste grafica della conferma.

Il deposito è andato bene, i ragazzi gentili e disponibili. Solo un momento di panico iniziale perché il posto in cui dovevo lasciare il bagaglio era chiuso e il cellulare che avevano lasciato, inesistente. Non avendo esperienza in questo genere di cose mi sono un po' preoccupata, ma poco dopo è arrivato il titolare del locale spiegandomi che avevano cambiato orario di apertura e forse non lo avevano ancora comunicato alla vostra piattaforma. Personale gentilissimo. In questo caso, il posto si trovava al terzo piano di un edificio, in questo caso con ascensore grazie al cielo, e dato che eravamo in tanti a dare il bagaglio è stato un po' avventuroso. Insomma niente di negativo in generale, ma se mi fossi trovato in una situazione di ritardo, sarebbe carino ci fosse un chiarimento oltre al dove, anche come si accede allo storage. Tengo a ripetere che per il mio gruppo, eravamo in 7, è stata una salvezza questo servizioweekend.

Sarebbe importante che le attività commerciali affiliate espongano un banner, un logo, una vela pubblicitaria ecc. perchè non è sempre facile individuare l’attività (nel mio caso una birreria); 2. Sarebbe importante che al momento della consegna e del ritiro delle valige, il gestore rilasci una ricevuta di consegna e di ritiro, cosa che a me non è accaduta. Per il resto tutto ok!

This is my second time using Radical Storage and it won’t be my last. I hate having to check out of an Airbnb then not leave the city/town for hours and tote around luggage. With Radical Storage we checked out then dropped bags off with an Angel then continued to explore till it was time to leave. Drop off and pick up only takes a few minutes, super simple. This location was right next to the train station that we were leaving from so it was the most convenient for us.

We went to the location with our lockers already reserved and had the codes ready. When we got there, none of the QR codes worked, for the wifi or for the service itself, the website was completely broken. We were completely unable to access our lockers and had to find another location elsewhere. I would absolutely not recommend this service I was very disappointed and will be requesting a full refund since I wasn't able to use the lockers.

Did not expect the actual locker was in a hotel and managed by a person who took my luggage and God knows where it went with. All was good and I left and recovered it at established hours but radical storage could explain better the system and conditions. You do not put your luggage in a locker with your hand and eyes, it is a person at 3rd floor of a building (no indicator for radical storage, just the hotel).

Visited Florence for only 12 hrs. Found this luggage facility, and its good. The workers were nice. They even let us come in the hotel lobby, so we can wait and have a rest till our train arrived. Offered us water and wifi, had some small talks. So I defo recommend this place, not only because of the facility, but because the owners are nice and they deserve it. 10/10.

The service was exactly as expected, I was able to visit Florence in the only day I had without having to carry my luggage everywhere. The employees where nice, it has a wide range of hours available (some services offer very limited when normally you will arrive really early or leave really late) and also it has no limitations regarding the size of the luggage

“Storage” location was directly underneath our apartment which was convenient. It was a tiny telephone/electronic store that stored our bags behind a counter. The workers were very nice and helpful with the process. Good overall experience, I was just expecting our bags not being out in the open like they were. I would use it again.

Great service, simple procedure. Radical storage had many more dropoff locations. Found one close to our air b&b, so it was easy peasy! My daughter was skeptical about leaving her backpack, but once we arrived and met the clerk, she was happy to leave it. Thank you! Allowed us to spend our last day in Firenze light and cheerful!

Perfect location. The trick is to reserve and pay ahead of time, as the person helping you is in a remote location. But you don't have to go back to train station for the luggage. It is right there in the history district close to everything. Once you arrive contact him via WhatsApp. He will magically open the locker for you

Extremely unprofessional: 1. Storage location was closed for the time 2. No contact information that is reachable 3. They say 24/7 customer service but that’s a lie. They responded via chat after 15 hrs, not when I needed help. 4. There is no number to call them, or any type of accountability from the customer service.

Hard to understand the reviews - it’s a ripoff. 5 euro a day results in being charged 6.75 euro. More expensive than just going straight to who they contract directly. There are lots of places near the station around Boccaccio hotel that you can just go directly to for a cheaper price. Which is what we did the next day

Overall extremely easy experience. - easy to book through the app. - easy to drop off through the first floor window and easy to pick up from first floor area. - easy assistance from staff - best part was open 24/7 as we had to drop off early AM and other locations in city are not open as early. 10/10 recommend

Purtroppo per il check-in dei bagagli abbiamo dovuto aspettare 25 minuti, poiché l'operatore era impegnato con un'altra cliente ed evidentemente c'erano dei problemi... a parte questo disagio, il servizio è stato molto utile e la riconsegna dei bagagli è avvenuta in maniera veloce e funzionale.

Not exactly the most warm greeting, but they are super convenient to the train station, very short wait to drop off, equally short at pickup. Pay in advance, reasonable price, pretty much pay for exactly the amount of time you need. I believe it's cash only. Would definitely use again.

Ci è piaciuto lasciare i bagagli per esplorare la città mentre aspettavamo il nostro aereo. Non abbiamo avuto problemi ma il posto dove abbiamo lasciato i bagagli era un po' improbabile. Le valigie erano collocate in un angolo del negozio senza etichetta o numero. Non rassicurante.

The service was very useful and efficient , close to the station which was what we needed. The only slight issue was that the hotel was on the 3rd floor with a very small lift which was a bit tricky with luggage, but at least there *was* a lift so it wasn’t too much of a problem!

Avevamo utilizzato il deposito Radical in Largo Fartelli Alinari il 17 settembre 2023. La posizione è molto comoda dalla stazione ferroviaria e sono rimasto davvero colpito dal servizio che abbiamo ricevuto, assolutamente senza trambusto. Inoltre, alle MIGLIORI TARIFFE.

Easy to book, very friendly man in the store, long opening ours, perfect solutions for if you are already in the centre or if you don't to go back to the station to store in the most mentioned storages. Would definitely do it again if the situation asks for it.

Booked the morning we checked out of our accommodation. The app was easy to use. Picked a storage facility nearby (shop) and dropped our cases off. Then collected our luggage a few hours later en rout to the airport. It was a simple and pain free process.

Unfortunately there was no storage counter at the address given where I could present my prepaid voucher. It just was a drop-off selfstorage box. I had to pay a higher amount (10 EUR for 4 hours) once again. Wouldn’t recommend to use that service, sorry!

Convenient and close to the Main train station. It's like 3 mins walk from the station entrance. The staff is helpful and easy to converse with. After picking up my baggages, I was unable to get a taxi and they helped me to call for one. Very helpful.

Avevo scelto questo servizio al posto di altri per la guida della città ma purtroppo (stranamente) assente per Firenze. Al ritiro c'era la catenella e il lucchetto ma non erano numerati, quindi c'è voluto un bel po' prima di trovare la chiave giusta!

Absolute garbage. They demand you pay in order to see the exact location of the storage. After you're there, the frickin storage doesn't exist. The Hotline only speaks Spanish, and went directly to, what I assume was, an answering machine. Rubbish.

Abbiano utilizzato due storage, uno al centro e uno vicino la stazione. Il primo era automatico e ci siamo trovati benissimo,il secondo in un albergo e il servizio del personale è stato impeccabile. Il prezzo molto più che onesto, consiglio.
