I am honor to share my experience I had with Rahim who is my only trust worthy mechanic. I’ve been driving for over 15 years and having car reliable car to get around is so important for me and my family’s safety. At first I was going to random mechanic getting ripped off and the jobs were not complete. I asked a friend who referred me to Rahim, I would never regret it. Rahim is a very honest, understanding mechanic, he did a great job with fixing and educating me with issues with my old car and when it was time to let go of my car because I was having a baby on the way he felt he wanted me to be in new safe car since I would travel all the way from jersey to queens for his service. My car was old. He help me maintain it for the years. It had over 140,000 mileage and over 13 years old. He helped me pick out a great car so I can purchase at a actual dealer for my safety. Safety is so important to me and he definitely showed me he cares. Even though I purchased a new car, I would still travel to queens for any issues with new my car such an oil change. I do not want to invest my time to money elsewhere when it comes to my car. He is the only person I would trust to give me advice on cars. He is someone I can actually call a friend now. Thank you Rahim, I hope others can see how talent, professional and awesome you are.

I had some work done here a couple years back and I was not satisfied. The mechanic/owner accepted cash ONLY and that should have been a red flag. After paying, I noticed some of the work was not done correctly and used parts were swapped in on at least 1 repair, a part that I had to get replaced again shortly at another repair shop. My suggestions are to: Insist on paying with a card for protection; Stay onsite at the repair shop and watch the work being done and new parts being used, and don't fall for gimmick that the work will take a long time so you leave your vehicle unattended. Ask for invoices for parts ordered if the shop is ordering it for you. Properly document everything and get a receipt if you absolutely must pay with cash.

I am lucky to write a review about Rahim's Auto Shop that takes a very pro customer approach to solve mechanical issues and problems going on with their vehicle. Yes, lucky to have been referred to Rahim to solve issues with my car. Some shops only look to perform procedures, charge for the service and then send you off and wish you a good day. Rahim opens his doors in the morning to solve your car problems in totality to the highest level of skill and ability. You can always find a shop or a 'mechanic' to do a half way diagnosis or a half way solution procedure but when you find a mechanic who as a solid gold person, wishes to completely solve your car issues---that's the only Mechanic you need. Rahim is the most honest car repair guy in all of Queens. He is simply the best. He's understands issues and quotes services/products accurately. He replaced the front and rear rotors on a 7+ year old car, over a year ago, and the car drives and breaks without a squeak. He replaced the break pads on my car as well. He replaced the headlights on the same car on multiple occasions and they're perfect. He's recommended me to great shops that provide services such a tire and paint correction as well - and they have been great. Rahim does great work and his service is outstanding. BEST autoshop I've ever been to. Rahim is an amazing person, I trust my car to get fixed practically and effectively any time I take it to him. He also explains why he recommends things based on experience, understanding of costs, and places you and your vehicle in his best interest every time. And most of us already know how hard it is to find an autoshop run by someone like that. It's not something that I take for granted and all I hope is people take notice of how great this shop is.

I have been going to Rahim for years After another trusted/honest mechanic retired out of New York. It took me a while to find Rahim. He is a trusted and honest family man. His prices are very fare there is no upsale he will give you only what your auto needs and: then show you the use parts with a full explanation. I try to tip him on every job, He will not accept tips. An honest mechanic is hard to find hopfully he does not retire anytime soon

I've been coming to this auto shop over the past 10 years and he has exceeded my expectations everytime. He takes his time with his customers to explain whats going on and what the solution will be.
