Bad experience first time here put my clothes in the washer I leave then returned maybe like 20mins later so I put my clothes in the dryer I had 4loads I put four quarter a piece in each dryer I went to sonic up the street set there no longer then 5 mins I gets back check my clothes an my clothes wasn't near dry they were stopped like someone had open my dryer doors remind u my other load at the other end was still going get home to find out that my clothes still wasn't clean so now I'm at a conclusion if u leave your items there an come back she stops them to make u spend more money it's a dam shame that this lady is playing games with ppl items an they're money I will never ever return to this place again I'm sooooooo piss it's wrong that why half of them washers don't work now!!!!!!!

Misleading. The name says Rainbow Laundry & Dry Cleaning. I called today before going in since it's Sunday and I need Dry cleaning services, and I was told they don't offer that service. They need to change their name because it is very misleading. Should I ever need to utilize this establishment for laundry services I might consider, and if anyone should ask me if I know of a good Laundromat I might refer, but will be sure to let them know not to get their hopes up on receiving any dry cleaning services because they don't offer it, even though their business name clearly leads you to believe that they do. If I could give no stars I would but unfortunately I have to just to give a review. lol

I love this place. The couple who runs it don't breathe down your neck and keep tobthemselves, but they are always friendly. I have been using Rainbow Laundromat since they were closer to me on 89th and Wornall. Once, I accidentally left a couple skirts and a top hanging on the wire basket and went out of town for two weeks. I came back and the lovely lady brought them over to me neatly folded. That's top notch service to me. This place is usually pretty busy, which to me is a good sign! They have enough washers and dryers to accommodate. The clothing and linens come out squeaky clean and dryers are pretty quick if you pick the right ones.

I went in this morning so I can do my bedding... The washer was taking my money... I was already upset because my kids wouldn't do as they were told... The guy did try to come and help... I finally asked for my money back he kept trying and then just gave me money back (shorted me as well) when I was taking my stuff out he said the problem is my downy beads and pod... That makes the washer take my money?? I told him if there was a sign I wouldn't put them in and that his bigger problem is that his washer takes ppls money... He told me to leave and never come back.... TRUST ME I WON'T

It was okay. They have hot water but it costs extra. The machine took about $1 too much of my quarters. I asked the attendant and she just said "I don't know..." It's raggedy and ran down. There's mold in the place where you add the soap/fabric softener. It's dusty and not well maintained. It smelled terrible. And I get it.... It's a laundromat and I get that it may be a little ran down. But at least clean it. Take a little pride in your place of business.

DuehDue toato covid-19, they are open from 7:30 am to 7:30 pm We have been going to this laundromat for years, even before they were at this location. I love it. The machines are a little pricey, but they get your clothes nice and clean. The couple who own it are very friendly. My only complaint is some of the dryers are more powerful than others. Despite that, I definitely recommend.

It has been a long time since I have been treated so rudely in a place of business. The gentleman at the laundromat on Sunday, April 22nd, whom I believe to be the owner, was incredibly rude and cantankerous when my machine quit working. He was quick to blame me for the problem. Prior to that, I observed him acting similar to another customer.

I went to this laundromat for the first time today. The lady who manages the place is very helpful and friendly. Their prices are more reasonable than at many other laundromats. Yes, they do have several machines down, but still there were plenty available. I live in South Kansas City and will continue to do business with them.

Just like any other laundromat, dirty, old and run down looking. What really irritates me is the fact they don't even have hand soap in the bathroom. That's disgusting. So anyone who uses the restroom can't properly wash their hands. Then, they touch on everything in the place. Absolutely disgusting!!

I come here regularly and it’s a hidden gem. The owners are kind from my interaction with them and the prices are pretty reasonable. I usually have pretty big loads when I do come and I’m able to get in and out within 90 minutes. The energy is safe and the people that come in are your everyday folk.

My laundry machines at my rental house went out and this was the closest place to my neighborhood. The lady working was very kind and helped answer our questions and made sure we knew how to use the machines. It was a very safe and friendly environment in the daytime.

Friendly Asian couple own and operate. Clean facility and equipment. Kraftyfox farms must’ve bleached their darks... crimeney! Take a picture of yourself using a calibrated laser temperature probe and then you can start preaching about rip offs jackass.

I brought in to nickeks dimes and pennies to exchange for quarters so I can wash my clothes. And he told me that they don't exchange nichols, dimes and pennies for quarters, so how am I supposed to wash clothes. Will not be returning here

I loved this place! Good price for the washing and the drying. And not to brag the fastest my clothes have washed using a laundromat. The owner is very sweet, and will help you if needed. Definitely recommend if on the Kansas City side!!

Dry cleaning is too expensive! They send the men’s dress shirts out, but you pay for it. I can get it picked up and delivered back to my house for less than $3.50 per shirt. Anyone know of someplace not too far who will do it for less?

The owner told me I was LIEING about his washer not rinsing out all the way. So my cloths had soap on them and needed washed again in diff washer .Even though the proof was right in front of him .then he wouldnt even refund me

Had a plumbing issue at home and had to wash some towels and blankets. The employees/owners are very helpful and friendly and keep the place clean and organized. So grateful for their generosity and customer service.

Dirty and the dryers are a rip off. Quarter for 6 min and the temps are turned down so it will cost another 4 dollars to dry. The whole time they are dumping quarters out on their table just happy as can be

Guess what? It's a laundromat! Clientele is average, but the staff is awesome. Very nice, helpful, and most of all, available. If you're passing thru or live in the area, it's a good place to go.

Kinda difficult to get much done when 13 washers and a half dozen dryers are marked "Out of Service". Tried this place a couple times because it's close to home, but I'm not coming back.

They keep an eye on what is going on in their shop and have ample room for folding. The woman there is very nice and tries to accommodate you if needed. They also do drop off service.

Not too crowded especially on Sunday morning. In and out and the customer service is outstanding. They are so nice and they have products and coins if you need them.

washer didn’t even go 20 minutes for 5$ kinda wierd went down the street to get food came back within 15 minutes and my clothes were done washing kinda wierd.
