I'm afraid rained and Horne Melton would have to be the worst and dangerous real estate agent that we have ever dealt with! They refuse to do maintenance, often not even passing relevant information onto the owners ! Electrical issues are never addressed ! Air conditioner not working all summer, oven not working, lights buzzing and shorting out the fuse box bared wires exposed throughout the property , exhaust fans not working for over 8 years! Eventually the property caught fire and destroyed nearly everything we had worked for for over 45 years! All photos wedding dresses and cameras act txt gone ! We were restricted access to the property for months and only threatening letters emails sent, no assistance offered and the manager as assisted in letting thieves to help themselves to what little we had left ! Inhumane would be giving them far to much credit! Manager even paid dodgy prop k e to break into our cars and trucks and leave them illegally parked facing the wrong way in the street without even going us a call so we could of possible to have them towed properly to a safe place or our new address only 2,5 klm away ! They also smashed and stole things even family airlombs which has been devasting ! I am very unwell and feel that I will not live though this trauma ! I I can't stress enough of the total devastation this company has caused ! I am seeking legal help and remedy as this can't happen again . I am a support work and I work for the NDIS. One of our clients rents a property through you. Due to the current climate we are fully aware that the situation on maintenance and other small issues have to be prioritized due to need. Not only did Adriana address these issues in a professional manner , she has organized these issue's to be delt with very quickly. Do not give your rental property to Raine Horne Melton! Especially if it’s an older home, they do not care about looking after it at all, basically let your tenant trash the place, have as many animals as they want without telling you. Of course animals are allowed but when they bring in two dogs and three cats without your consent that’s a different story. They had three different property managers change over the past 3 years, each one was worse than the last. Paying them $400+ to bring in people to do gas check who did not send us a report, agents do not care and never even followed up, when we did follow up the report was incomplete however the agents could not care less and we had to ask them to follow up many times till this day nothing has been done (this is just one of the many horrible experience we’ve had). It was unfortunate we inherited these agents when we bought the place but now after this last careless property manager we have decided to take the home back. Our house has been absolutely trashed, curtains broken and carpet completely soiled. Do yourself a favour and give your beloved property to someone else to manage.

I just wanted to express my sincere gratitude for all the hard work that my property manager Jake Krstin has recently done to to help me out! I was facing losing my entire bond for damage to my previous property that we “allegedly” caused. Once new information came to light to prove that we in fact did not cause this very costly damage to our previous rental property, Jake went over and above to sift through loads of paperwork to find me initial condition report, which contained a photo that proved that this damage was actually already pre existing the time that we first moved in 5 years ago! Throughout this whole process, Jake remained both professional and very caring and considerate towards me, and went over and above for me time and time again! We recently sold our property in Harkness with Raine & Horne Melton. We were a bit nervous that we had missed the recent 'boom' period in Melton but Kieran, David & Genna gave us honesty & optimism from the initial consultation. The ease in the process to list our house, followed up with excellent marketing and professional open home inspections lead to us selling our property at a price over and above our expectations. Once the contracts were signed the service did not stop. Kieran and his team worked through a number of issues directly with both conveyancers which took the pressure off us having to follow up. Pursuant to the Covid pandemic gripping Australia I found many difficulties in securing a rental with other agencies before the deadline for moving out of my previous property. I explained my circumstances to Adriana as I was considering even renting a cabin temporarily in the event I couldn’t secure a rental in time and found Adriana went above and beyond her role to assure me tenancy and a lease agreement to a beautiful house in the Melton Region. I was renting with rain and horne for about 6 years always kept the house neat and tidy and paid my rent on time when I decided to move out they started nik picking on every thing when I moved into that house it was a disgrace they assured me that it would be cleaned and things would get fixed but when I moved in nothing was done so I asked to have a cleaner and they refused me I started cleaning the house and fixing things my self I even put in new shower heads out of my own pocket now that I have moved out they are blaming me for things that has dents and other things that were already there telling me that they are going to kee my bond and take me to vcat I am on a disability pension and have cervical cancer rain and horne has stressed me to the limit I don't recommend this real estate

Buyer beware!!!! All started out good but was given a lot of incorrect information about the property and the current tenants agreement that was in place and although the property was advertised with appliances and other features doesn't mean they work. Buyer beware you must test everything to make sure all is in working condition as I found out after taking ownership of the house many things didn't work. Which was pretty bad considering the house is only meant to be 6 or 7 years old. The Real-Estate Agent did the final inspection on my behalf as I was unable too, but didn't report any issues. When I moved and discovered the issues I tried contacting the agent but I just got the run around and or no replies. Once they have your money they don't care. You really can't trust any one.....

Finding the right house for your family isnt easy at the best of times, having all being hit hard by covid-19 my family found ourselves searching for a new home during the lockdwn in victoria.i was in desperate need and decided to jump online with all inspectons put on hault i found our agent Adriana gaspari from raine and honre melton shortly after inquiring we got a call back had a great discussion about my budget and situation. The resurance and great work ethic displayed by the agent Adriana set us at ease and she delivered in less than a month she found a great family unit well within our price range i would highly recommend this agent and agency for anyone walking any path in life... great job Adriana and team keep up the good work..

Very bad agents, let my property go three months in arears. I wouldnt go near these guys if they were the last agents in the world. EDIT: I just wish to edit my review to indicate how badly I can't stand this rental agency. I think about how poorly they treated me every few months and could not recommend them even if they were the last agency on earth. Very very very bad agency. Also when i finally got the rent off my tenant which was 3k this agent took their fees of $300 out even though it was their fault the place got into this mess and they left me to chase up the tenant myself for the $3k. I urge you all reading this to never use this agency, I would personally use any other agent in melton except these guys. They are very bad.

Iam writing this review as i recently bought home through them. Its a very bad and shabby experience right from start. Advertisement was deceiving and false as home got no smoke alarms which i mentioned in inspection health n safety issue. Lot of things demage and owner put stumps in sub floor n she never clean it, taps leaking and handles broken i highlighted to agent. But agent but a deaf ear on all these issues, highlighted to director shown him the contract clause. absolutely disgusting and rubbish tradies in suits with no professionalism.... please think 100000000000000 times before dealing with them.... Now am in boiling water with no other option to go to vact.....

UNPROFESSIONAL AND USELESS…. Just wasted a days work and drove an hour to an inspection only to find out days earlier the house was leased hours after going online and the ad was not removed!!!! There were up to 20 ppl at the house who had their time and fuel wasted too. EDIT: After the unprofessional reply was made i will add that the tennant who was currently already moving in!!!! TOLD ME!!! That days earlier!!!! The property application was accepted!!!! And the fact these unprofessional and now LIARS!!! Have tried to cover it up shows just how useless they really are and by reading some of the other reviews i see why…. Grow a spine and own your mistakes!!!

Useless and money hungry my partner and I have been given the run around all day trying to get our money back from a property we don’t rent from them after emails back and forth all day telling me that it’s was being transferred to my account. For the property manager of unit 2/7 wattle place her name is jasmine btw, tell me that the lady who deals with these things is not in the office, when I was renting with them they failed to pay back my bond and rent in advance I have proof of the big boss of the melton branch saying that if we payed outstanding fees all would come back then we never herd from them again now this really??? give my money back

I dealt with David Thompson from Raine & Horne recently to sell my property, David is Exceptional. David was very professional. David demonstrated to have very good knowledge of the broader market, buyers sentiments and how our property fits in that view. As an outcome my property was sold within a few days after the open home above the expected price. One of the buyers had dropped out,but David was able ot find a replacement and resolve it asap. I would definitely use David's help again to buy or sell a property. I recommend David highly. Great communication and sense of the market to achieve the best price.

terrible, never call back, agent never in the office even when you stand outside and call reception and can see the fact they are, never deliver on promises, constantly in breach of there obligations. Want something in writing is as good as getting blood from a stone, they wont reply to emails either unless you somehow bail them up on the phone to reply. Never able to get a contractor out to do repairs, the word on the street is no contractors want to deal with them due to non-payment issues so if you do rent from them, expect no one to turn up as no Melton workers will deal with them.

John Trieu from Raine and Horne is the most genuine and supportive real estate agents I have come across. My experience when working with John at Raine and Horne has been a very positive one, John cares very much about his tenants and is very socially minded and willing to give anyone a go within his properties. John does not discriminate against anyone due to their background, income type or current situation. I would highly recommend Raine and Horne Melton, the staff, in particular John are friendly, supportive and all round great people!

I applied for a house and for 4 weeks not one shred of contact from them after that, I was told that I was getting the house and then wam no contact at all, it wasn't until I called them at the office that I was told by a receptionist that someone else got the property. Worst Service for rentals. Property mgmt obviously couldn't perform their duties in a professional manner. They read & ignore emails, NEVER return calls, somehow "lose" paperwork. They do not "maintain"when something goes wrong, Take forever to return funds back to you, but harass you if you are 1 day late in rent! STEER CLEAR

Best in the West! Cara has been managing my investment property for the last 12months. I cant thank her enough, her communication has been first class and nothing is a hassle. I had my property managed by another agent for 3 years prior and should of made the switch to Raine and Horne a lot sooner.

Rental manager Cara will not answer phone, take calls, return emails or return calls. Constant staff changes mean properties are not maintained because no-one knows whats happening. Receptionist Emma is wonderful though, so if her boss's could have her integrity and respect they might improve.
