I attended the first day webinar on the topic "Arbitral Award and Recourse against Arbitral Award" organised by Advocate Ranjan Patel. It was an insightful webinar and got to know about the history of Arbitration in India, arbitral awards and about both the conventions as well. The 2nd day of the webinar concluded with some important topics which included finality of the awards, four fold test and which disputes under debt recovery can be arbitrable. The confidentiality and the Section 34 of the Act along with judicial pronouncement was dealt in the webinar. It was indeed worthwhile.
