A good tip for anyone working in the fast food industry: your customers will likely forgive you for late food if you’re honestly upfront with them. We know that there are multiple factors that might mean you can’t get it to us in “30 minutes or less”. We also know that some customers just can’t be satisfied no matter what. You know what doesn’t help you out? Lying to your customers. It’s far better to say “I’ll look into this” than to provide false information. If the customer gets frustrated and aggressive when you won’t give them a haphazard guess, at least you’ve not made it worse. Don’t take the order, give it nothing but second thoughts, fail to deliver it on time from when you’ve said you’re delivering it, have unreliable drivers and then blame traffic (traffic we can see from our office mind you doesn’t actually exist) and then question why we’re calling you 2 hours after ordering (1 hour after you’ve promised to deliver the food) extremely dissatisfied. If you can’t deliver what you’re asking people to pay for, you’re in the wrong business. You can promise free food on our next order all you want but when our assurance is “quote someone’s name” and you’ve already been dishonest you can imagine our cynicism. If your food tasted really nice it would have been more forgivable. Instead, your food tastes like every bog standard takeaway that I’ve eaten to fill the void at the end of a night out. Considering both the poor service and the mediocre food, I’ve no intention of spending more money here. If I do and you prove me wrong by all means I’ll update a review to reflect the change in quality. Until then? I’ll be telling people to go for places further up the road.

Theres a fella who was trying to suicide by jumping down of hunslet bridge onto the M621 today at 12:30AM, I saw him, got near by him, and after about 30 minutes of trying to speak and persuade him not to do what he was about to do (while 6 police officers were there and while they were just watching us carefully n trying not to get too close to us), I finally convinced him and got him to my side of the bridge. After about 20 min of the officers mental health process I asked them if I can take him to RAJAS to grap him some food which is the place I ( REGULARLY GO), they said its okay and he wanted that so at that time his partner got there so she was with him and I only had £6 coz I just got of work at that time so I explained the thing to the boss and asked him if he can do 2 burgers which costs 4.50 each for £6 and offered my ID and contact details so he makes sure that I will come back n bring him the rest of the money in the morning(EVEN THOUGH HIM AND 3 OF THE STAFF MEMBERS KNOW ME VERY WELL)…. He looked at me said in a very rude and judgmental way( NO BROTHER THIS IS BUSINESS).… Extremely terrible costumer service, the most selfish inhuman behaviour I’ve seen today was from the owner of the takeaway that Iam regular at. You guys hang out around talking about Islam and being a Muslim, shame on you all, you know nothing about islam….

This is the WORST place I have EVER ordered from!!! When the Order came, the fries were rock hard and overcooked! Was about to take the 1st bite of my pizza when I saw a black curly hair sticking out of the cheese! I immediately rang the driver to come pick the meal back up, it was untouched , the driver had only dropped the food off a few minutes earlier, I just wanted a refund. The driver refused to come back, laughed and said "good luck at getting refund " then promptly hung up on me!! I then rang rajas up, apparently was speaking to the manager who was rude, sarcastic and totally disrespectful , he said that everyone who worked at rajas were totally bald!!, I then heard the rest of the staff laughing at his joke in the background!! He then told me to call back first thing in the morning, they do not even open on Thursdays' !!!! I tried to get his name before he hung up , he said "err, just call me Adam white" this is the 1st time I have ever left bad feedback. !!!!!!!!! AVOID THIS TAKEAWAY!!!!!

What a horrible place to order from, placed a order via there website at 7:30 said it would be here by 8:20 gave it till 8:45 and then called they said it was on the way, left in another 30 mins an called again they said the same so I got angry and hung up, rang 10 mins after and they said the order had never came through, so I kicked off saying that I had already paid for my order and been waiting 2 hours for it, I said I would go collect if they made it now they insisted on delivering it, came just after 10pm and missed my drinks and sauces, it was absolutely freezing, and the quantity off chips was very poor! Staff wasn't very helpful and when I mentioned all this to the driver he tried putting his foot in the door as I shut it, he was also a taxi driver and said he only delivers when he's not busy!! I would advise to never order from here! I know I wont be ever again and it's certainly put me off ordering from any takeaways Ive never ordered from before!

I ordered a takeaway from Rajas, I ordered a plain well done burger and chips and a plain calzone with just donna meat and nothing else. The order took 50 mins to get to my address, and then when it did the driver was telling me how smart he was and keeping me talking I gave him a £20 note the bill came to £11.90 the driver charged me £14.90 so a £3 OVER charge. I did not know at the time and could not ring back as he would say this was not true. The driver was smart allright! When I opened my Kebab the meat had cheese on it somthing im allergic to and did not asked for! I rand the man back and he was very angry with me and told me next time to make sure that I get my order right! I did the first time but left feeling upset. I ate my chips minus my kebab and then my kebab later. The kebab meat was crusty and looked rather old. The service from this place is unaceptable and would NOT reccomend Rajas!!!!

Honest review: I'm relatively new to leeds - I've tried taking my fiance to several places in the area. Most were disappointing. We read the reviews before we bought here but also noticed someone had mentioned that they were under new management. We didn't go in with high expectations, but here was our experience. We ordered online (for pickup) an american style Pizza (stuffed crust) and asked for only half to have mushrooms on it - and we also ordered a crunchy milkshake. Pros: - The food was ready to pickup when we got there. - The milkshake was smooth and perfect, not too underwhelming and not too sugary. It tasted like we were drinking a crunchy flavoured milkshake. - They only put the mushroom son one half side as requested. - The pizza was tasty! - They did not skimp on the toppings - The milkshake was cold and the pizza was hot! - Prices for pizzas are lower than other places we've come accross

If your hungry late night and there’s no other takeaway around the Beeston & Holbeck area open, do me a favour have some beans on toast at home. Hygiene is not the best, the lad used tongs, packing bags and boxes, touching the air fryer, touching the greasy sauce bottles and throwing the chicken around without washing his hands. Prices aren’t greatest. Ordered 3 meals gave me 2 sauces, cheers buddy. Salad was old stinky and the donner meat didn’t look healthy (double pun). I would strongley recommend not to order food at Rajas Beeston Leeds. I called them and was asked to hold on, 5 mins later I placed my order for special kebab and 2 chips and for NO cheese to be added to the kabab I clairfied this with him twice. An hour later the food arrived, with the rudiest man I have ever met the chips was cold and youve guessed it there was cheese on my Kebab, I called Rajas back and told them my order was not correct and please take it back to give me what I had ordered to be told I should next time tell them and they would not take it back not its called tuff and I should put it down to experience. I ordered of the hungry house site, when my ordered food was delivered they missed half my order, I rang back politely asking if the driver had accidentally forgot them in his car, but they claimed "we haven't received any orders from hungry house" well clearly you have as that's what I just paid from, they said I phoned the wrong place but that was a lie, I questioned the guy on the phone saying I'm not mad but I just want an explanation. The explanation is that you should never order from these guys again, mine and every other review has been a diabolical experience with this takeaway, take our advice and order from somewhere else!

This is our second order and we promised a second review, since it's under new management. This time we ordered a pineapple pizza, the 3 pcs chicken wing meal deal (comes with fries and a soda) and we ordered a naan bread. There was absolutely no cons what so ever. All the food was hot, made on time - (in fact this pizza was even tastier than the last one) The wings were cooked to perfection, fries were great and not over salted or soggy like most places - and the naan tasted fresh and homemade. Pizza was cooked to perfection. Super happy with our order! Thanks for the great service!

This is the best takeaway I have ever been to! The pizza was so so good!! I ordered some popcorn chicken and they were very generous with the size and I even got more than I ordered (two extra)! The mozzarella sticks were very nice too. They even gave me two sauces with it all as well! It came in very good timing too (around half an hour maybe even a bit less) I am very impressed and a very happy customer and will be coming here way more often! Thank you for the great service!

Had a calzone Just tasted of garlic to be honest. No other flavour. Then chewed down on a penny sized bit of broken bone in the calzone. Are a few mouthfuls and couldn't eat anymore after that so in the bin it went. Partner ordered a large chicken pram, not much taste, dry and overcooked. Not happy at all. Ordered through Justeat last night at 9.17pm estimated delivery time 10-10.20pm waited till 10.30 was told it would be with me at 10.45 waited till 11.30 nothing arrived. Claimed a refund received a text this morning saying the restaurant wasn't giving me any money back and they hoped I enjoyed the food. I might have done had it ever arrived. Definitely won't use again which is a shame as I've used them many times before with no issues.

We ordered and paid more for a large Chicken parmo. What we received was a small over cooked burnt parmo, with cold chips stuck all over it. This was the worst takeaway I have ever ordered in my 10 years of living in Leeds. The food was not tasty and did not taste like a chicken parmo and the presentation was terrible, made only worse by putting it in a massive box, that would of fitted a large parmo, only ours wasn't even a half parmo.

My experience was appalling I ordered food at 11:15 it is now 12:45 it has not turned up and is now closed me and my family have waited for so long and has had nothing to eat and now can't order from anywhere else as it is too late..... The positive reviews on here are from staff and the owners family. Conflict of interest to disguise terrible, unprofessional customer service. This guy will send you an incomplete order then refuse to correct it unless you place another order with rajas. They speak (or rather shout) at you in a disgusting manner and hang up on you so you are left out of pocket and upset. Abusive rip off merchant! Stay well clear.

Not as bad as people are making out, not the best though, saying that they do really nice bahjis and garlic sauce, and very good prices for the Leeds area. The chips were average, the chicken wrap was a bit too chewy, but still decent enough, Samosas were average, food came piping hot! I would order from here if you want a cheap eat, if you do have a bit more money to spend go elsewhere though.

Ordered from this place never again! My food was absolutely vile. Ordered garlic mushrooms for them not to be fresh but breaded and greasy to the point grease was pouring from them. The pizza I ordered arrived with a HAIR! The kebabs were full of grease and vile, was offered a new pizza but we did not want to wait as at a friends house , will never order again and would not recommend.

I've started using this takeaway, the pannis and Donner meat are really nice,me and my friend sat inside to eat it only has 2 tables but it was nice to sit down and eat. Staff were nice and it seemed clean.

Donner meat extremely dry as was the chicken tikka, salad was just warm cabbage and onion. Shocking takeaway. How can you get this wrong?

Getting worse paid 11.40p for 2xchcken and chips one americano dog no drinks rang back came back with cans the food so bad in the bin .

took 2 hours for food to get to me and it was the worst burger ive ever had. Even gorden ramsey couldnt do any thing with this place.

bought pizza for tea. ate most of the pizza before seeing mold on the bottom. chips were horrible too! customer service was a joke!

Food was not cooked and the guy at the take away said he is not bothered. Wow never order from this dump. You will be disappointed

The food was awful , came late also the chips and burger was not cooked properly. Definetly would not recommend.
