Really great experience. Had the Strawberry Punch, and it was really refreshing. Also had the fried oyster and shrimp combo. While it’s just fried food, it’s awesome. Flavorful, crispy, and juicy (?). Raspberry cheesecake for dessert. The sun was hitting us, and they moved us no problem, so points for that too.

Go for the atmosphere more than the food; It's good, but not great. Wait staff does an excellent job to accommodate everyone and make their experience memorable. If you go here, tip well - you'll understand why. The cocktails are semi interesting but expensive. The oyster ones are pretty good More

Satisfying simple seafood options in the waterfront. They are not trying to be more than they are and what they are is pretty damn good. Get the oysters. Enjoy the view. The music is always amazing- and the speaker in the spacious bathroom is a personal party scene. Good food with good food!

Great oyster and also seem to have very hot fryer because the fries and fried food always come out great and crispy. They made my pregnant friend a beautiful mock tail. The best is to come for happy hour when all their oysters are on discount. Great addition to the wharf.

Details are all in the photos, came for Drinks and Oysters and I left here satisfied, full and happy lol. I'm from Boston so you know this was heaven for me. Everything was on point from the food to the servers, bartenders are pretty social and the view is amazing. More

Enjoyed an evening on the patio of Rappahannock Oyster Bar. The crabcakes were very good, as was the atmosphere. Located on the wharf, the patio offers great views and people watching opportunities. Fun time and highly suggest for a casual night out with friends. More

Upon walking in, the place had a strong cleaning solution smell. We were sat and waited awhile for service. Our waiter was slow but amicable. Diego I think his name was? He’d disappear for minutes whether it be checking out another table,

My boyfriend and I wanted to have a nice date night and eat clam chowder, so we looked it up on Google maps and this place popped up. We made a reservation and got there on time. We waited behind another couple who was seeing the host and

Visiting DC and was craving some oysters and a crab cake. They had 3 different choices for raw oysters, but they seemed kind of small and 2 still had shell in it (not enough to have a problem with it, just a small inconvenience). The crab

This was located at the Wharf near the waterfront...another D.C. place to go. I went during the afternoon hour, had drinks, raw oysters, a very special caesar salad, ceviche that came with crispy plantains, which was a nice touch and the

I visited The Wharf over a decade ago and love its humble charming look. Everything changed when I came back this past August. Since we were there already, we decided to try out one of the restaurants, and Rappahannock Oyster Bar was the

Overall I really enjoyed this place. Atmosphere and service are tip notch. I had their seasonal beer on tap and it was very good. I ordered the seafood fry basket. The flavor was good, especially the oysters. However, the portion for the

Went here on a week night for happy hour and it was very good! Wasn’t busy at all due to the cold weather/off-season and it being a week day. Got served right away at the bar and ordered 2 dozen oysters off the HH menu. 2 Bloody Mary

It’s our first time eating here for lunch. They have a nice outside courtyard type room. The staff is nice! Everything we ordered we loved! I’m a snooty food eater (clean, gluten free, organic if possible) and loved it all.

The shrimp fry basket was spot on - probably the best fried shrimp I've ever had. Wish I would've tried the oysters - they looked marvelous. My niece ordered the scallops, and she loved that dish. More

Great service and we were quick to be seated even on a Friday night! Food and beverages were all amazing and worth the price. Great place for a classy date or hang out on the wharf. More

I dream of delicious charbroiled oysters and these really hit the spot. The mussels were a surprise and delight - they were large in size and there were also a lot of them!

Beautiful restaurant with a lot of seating. Service and drinks were great. Oysters were okay. Out of 6, 1 was so small the shell looked empty - bottom right in photo.

Oyster were great but pricey for oyster shots. Crab Cakes were excellent. Service was quick for a busy Saturday and loved the heated alcove seating.

We chose to sit inside at the bar and ordered a seafood tower. The food was great! Scallops with caviar set everything over the top.
