"The worst staff ticket counter, they had the change of 500, still they didn't give me a ticket, i missed my metro, i missed my train in majestic also, One of the worst staff, they ask for cash and they won't accept 500's, Do people look like RBI to print the money and give them change, and the SBI ATM's vend only 500, no 100 and 200 at all, waste staff in the metro, specially the person who attended the duty on 18/Feb/2023 at 3 pm, worst person, i don't know his name"
"How do you rate a metro station"
"Very bad service"
Rashtreeya vidyalaya road metro station is located at rashtreeya vidyalaya road, jayanagar, Bangalore. This metro station is located between jayanagar metro station and banashankari metro station, on the green line ( nagasandra to yelachenahalli ) of namma metro AKA Bangalore metro. Last mile commute is available at this metro station. Such as local auto rickshaw, two wheeler rental bikes, a couple of minutes walk and you have a bus stop, where you can get busses to shivajinagar, k.r.market, electronic city and other locations. Metro has become a cost effective and comfortable mode of transportation for a traffic-choked Bangalore. By far metro is the best mode of transport in Bangalore, for a quick and easy travel. Due to the construction of another line ( yellow line maybe, from r.v.road to silk board and further ), a bit of inconvenience to the travellers. But the staff are doing their job well and not letting this inconvenience cause any delays to the travellers. Wash rooms, drinking water and ATM facility is also available at the metro station, along with lifts for the disabled.
Namma metro - one of best mode of transportation available in Bangalore for commuters. It's one of the fast transportation mode available next to suburban train. It's is the third largest metro system available in India. It covers a length of 42.3 kilometres. Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL), a joint venture between Government of India and the Government of Karnataka built and operates the Bangalore Metro. The system has a mix of underground and elevated stations and uses standard gauge. The network consists of two colour-coded lines. The services operate daily between 4:30 and 23:00 with a varying frequency of 10 to 20 minutes. There are 42 trains with six coaches each, making a total of 168 coaches, operating in the first phase. The train length is 135.5m. It's speed is about 100km/h. It's headquarter is at BMTC Complex, K.H. Road, Shanthinagar, But the price is bit costly compare to other mode of transportation. Overall it's a rapid transportation system for commuters. Happy journey.
The worst staff ticket counter, they had the change of 500, still they didn't give me a ticket, i missed my metro, i missed my train in majestic also, One of the worst staff, they ask for cash and they won't accept 500's, Do people look like RBI to print the money and give them change, and the SBI ATM's vend only 500, no 100 and 200 at all, waste staff in the metro, specially the person who attended the duty on 18/Feb/2023 at 3 pm, worst person, i don't know his name
How do you rate a metro station.. Cleanliness - Very clean. Properly managed. Hand sanitizer. Temperature Checking Machines. Good security. Staff - Very helpful. Quick in transactions. Parking - No Parking as of now due to additional line being constructed and road work but there is lot of nearby space for parking in Jayanagar. Also rating a metro station for its parking during extension phase is not right. They have 2 SBI ATMs which are functional most of the times.
Very bad service. If your making a rule to follow ensure that your providing proper facilities to the customers to follow that rule. I travel in metro daily , when ever I try to recharge in this metro station we’ll have to pay cash only. Not even once I have paid through my card. On top of it the works there asks us to draw money from ATM and pay. I travell cashless. Please ensure to provide card facility in this particular station.
I had recently parked my bike at this place for overnight. I was told by the security staff of metro that some miscreants had taken down the petrol from my bike. The staff managed to stop them and they saved 1 litre bottle of petrol and gave it to me when I returned from work. Really appreciate this kindness from from them. And guys, be warned about this. As it is still free parking area, nobody is responsible.
Just convenient because we live near it. But as yet not wheelchair friendly. Being an overground station at the confluence of two metro lines, they have closed the direct access to other platform (blue corrugated sheet wall with a no entry board, see photo). However, once the construction is done, it would open up. As of now, you have to get to platform 2, then take stairs under tracks to platform 1.
I am really surprised that Namma Metro has been built and maintained till date so well. Frequency of trains is good. Facilities are well maintained. Namma Metro station personal are friendly and very cooperative. Same can be said about the Namma Metro employees. I would recommend that frequent commuters buy the smart card for fare payments. You can avoid long ques for ticket purchase.
Very well maintained.Station is well equipped and easily accessible. Autos available for easy commuting from and to station. It has two platforms.Platform No.1 serves for those who travel towards Nagasandra. Platform 2 serves for those who travel towards Yelachenahalli. Rashtreeya Vidyalaya Road will be a junction, If silk board - banashankari metro line starts
A compact metro station opens into Lakshman Rao park, good for a morning walk with canopied roads. But the metro offices seems to think their job is over if we reach the station where they should arrange necessary feeders. This is the nearest station to board bus to electronic city, only thing is bus stop is 1km away. They should have put a bus stop nearby.
It is good and passenger friendly except one difficulty I observed as a senior citizen. There is no direct entry to Platform 1. We have to go down to Platform 2 and climb steps to reach Platform 1. With our baggage my wife and I found it difficult. They should provide elevator/ escalator to Platform 1 seperately for the convenience of passengers.
No proper waiting area. Even if you are not feeling well and you want to wait sometime for your pick up, the security wont allow you to sit in platform. They will ask you to go and wait in the waiting area where you can only stand. Constructions are going on by the way. So if you want to catch Nagasandra line you have to cross the underpass.
This is the nearest metro station for all the people residing in South Bengaluru, I'd rate this place a 8/10. If there's one thing that I do not like about this place is that the mode of smart card recharge is always cash and they seldom accept debit/credit card which is a bummer.
This metro station is situated in between Jayanagar and Banashankari metro stations. This is a part of green line Namma Metro corridor.Metro trains operating from Nagasandra to yelachenahalli and vice versa pass through this station. It has … ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು
No direct access to Nagasandra platform - Due to the expansion work, they have entry only to the platform towards Silk institute. One has to take few steps to go to the other platform. Would be a hassle if there are any accessibility needs..
Nearest metro station to BTM layout a very well cleaned station with ATM facilities and But the platforms are pretty confusing for first time metro users . Overall the station has good service with security and helping staffs
Strategically very important Metro Station as it will also serve a pertinent role as an Inter-Change for Green Line and the new under construction Silk Board Line. Should serve to easy the clogged traffic in South Bangalore
If you want to board a metro for Nagasandra, you have to first go to Yelachenahalli side platform, climb down the stairs below the metro bridge and again climb up the stairs to reach the Nagasandra side platform. … ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು
The precincts of this station are lush green. Coupled with the fact that the station is clean, well maintained and has polite staff, journeys from this station are comfortable, unless it is the peak hour rush crowd
Falls under Bengaluru Metro Green line. Station premises are well built and maintained, easily accessible from both ends. Parking facility needs to be upgraded asap though. Overall a good experience.
Metro station is normal, but the exit is a bit wierd. There is only one exit. Do ask for directions as soon as you get off. The signs will misdirect but security will show the right way to get out
This station does not have lift or escalators facility for transiting from platform form 2 to 1. As a senior citizen it was really difficult for me to go down the stairs and again climbing them.
Popular metro station with good amount of parking space here (for 2 wheelers). Neatly maintained. Easy to get auto/cab from this place. Not very crowded inside and outside the metro station.
This shares the most serene and eco friendly metro station spot with Jayanagar metro. Covered with huge trees on either sides it makes you breath the fragrance of old Bangalore
Parking is a problem.removing the vehicle becomes difficult due to random and very closely parked vehicles. Water leaking in station at various places.othet things are good
So far so good. 1) With the metro station adjoining the boulevard, lack of car parking facility is not felt too much now, but problems could arise later. … ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು
Well maintained. Security is always there and they guide you, just in case. It's usually busy. Ticket counter is usually quick. Overall experience is good.
Very good metro station and very peaceful due to the surrounding greenery and parks. Many auto rickshaws are available at the exit of the metro station.
Neat and clean metro station. To reach platform 2, you need to pass through platform 1. Some constructions are going there (below platform2).
The yellow line metro is under construction so there is only one exit and entry. And yellow line metro station is have very good progress
Going plateform 2 To Platform 1 little not clear to people, Also bridge they given outside which one gives people confusion. … ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು
Good metro station staff are kind and polite. I had almost missed the last train but they helped me catch it. So thank you very much
Nice station with proper sinages, Good staffs , situated in natural environment & I've visited here night time and rating it
An Direction Board here incorrectly indicates that 2nd platform is 1st platform. Also can't see this station on Paytm.
Very crowded area once the yellow line will connect the RV road metro station we 2 times more crowd than usual...
Fantastic Facilities Top Teachers, Best Coaching Team best of the best Results Visit once to feel the difference
The usual Metro station. Basic amenities. Soon to be a Interchange Station with the line towards Electronic City
Good way to travel and it’s very short distance if u guys r travelling to Yeshwanthpur railway stations …
This is the closest metro station from BTM Layout Stage II for now. The station is clean and well-maintained.
In this metro station still constructions are going on. Need to improve surrounding environment near to it.
The roads are very nice and the RV metro station is very near to it and the RV college is also near to it
Best place in Bengaluru. Both sides covered Green Green.. Metro station, double road. Very nice to ride.
This metro station is quite busy. From this station you can go towards the Majestic metro station.
I love the metro stations ...they are well organised...clean..very structured in all point of view
Neatness.cleanliness. auto drivers will loot you. Be cautious. Prefer booking cabs in advance
Good and lengthy road, with Road side garden throughout, good for morning walk and with kids
Entry and exit is tiresome, can't imagine how they can make people to suffer for no reason.
Very helpful for travel. Metro station is confusing at the moment due to construction work.
Station is not fully available for public use due to ongoing civil works
Crowded..proper traffic management must be..foot paths must be cleaned..
Good one well maintained but there are no escalators for exit.
Under construction Apart from that everything is good here
It's ok. Very difficult to cross the road. Heavy traffic.
Escalators not working in morning during peak hours
Nice Road, Do not Honk in the metro underpass!!
Metro station only I visited ..place seems good
Construction for yellow line is still happening
Metro Station, observed no wheelchair access
It's under construction so not so good
Escalator in only one way at one side.
Under Construction, becoming good..
Good quality and reasonable price
Well maintained important station
