After 11 years of sleeping on my comfy Beautyrest Elite mattress, it started to sag down and I knew it was time for a new one.  I let my fingers do the perusing, first stop: Raymour & Flanigan!  The selection of new mattresses online was so vast that a trip to my local store (Staten Island, NY) was in short order. Arriving around 11 am the next day, I was met by "CK" who took me on a whirlwind tour of their huge mattress selection.  I explained that the mattress needed to be "Extra Firm" and my preferred brand was Beautyrest (Simmons).  CK and I discussed various pricing points and other options and I settled on a gorgeous bed set.  The box spring (which I never could stand to begin with) was replaced with a "Reverie 3EM Foldable Adjustable Base" which was not only more sturdy than a box spring, but a lot of durable and lasted 2x as long. Later I found out the base has electronics and hydraulics to effectively turn the bed into a "Craftmatic" adjustable bed.  Remember those commercials from the 1980s?  Anyways with CK guiding me through my purchase, I bought a gorgeous Extra Firm mattress, the adjustable base, a stunning chrome headboard & footboard, and as always their Five-year Platinum warranty package which included a free mattress protector, WOW!  CK worked out an AMAZING price that I was more than happy with and offered delivery and installation the very next day. I highly recommend CK, not only for being extremely knowledgeable but for his caring demeanor, friendly and professional attitude, and sense of humor to boot.  A complete package deal.

My husband and I bought our first ever home in Staten Island & got our master bedroom set, guest bedroom set, and living room furniture from Raymour & Flanigan. Our experience furniture shopping was exceptional! Meir guided my family and I through the gallery like a pro. He offered great advice, let us take our time deciding, and even made sure to be available for us when we had to return on a different day. He ensured us we had the best deal for our furniture and even gave us the space to go and search other stores to see if we could find something comparable at such a great price. We could not! He gave us so much comfort making such a huge purchase. We felt well taken care of, and extremely welcomed into Staten Island. It’s been three months now, and we couldn’t be happier! Absolute garbage experience. Wouldn’t recommend shopping here. If it weren’t for the fact that we had a $1400 credit I wouldn’t have stepped foot back in their door. Once they found out we had a credit they wouldn’t honor our military discount or the current sale. We had a $200 gift card that we were given to make up for the issues from our last visit & they wouldn’t apply it because it expired 6 months after being issued. They were rude & only cared about the commission. To top it off, upon delivery they damaged the railing inside my home that was just redone. When I complained about it I was told it would be sent up to management & I would get a call back. Still waiting on that call…

Just bought two twin extra long adjustable beds, from Gordon Friend of Raymour & Flanigan. It was a very easy, pleasant experience. If and when I need to buy furniture again, I will return to see Gordon. Gordon is very knowledgeable, patient and accommodating. He even had his staff move the mattress of interest, to an adjustable frame, so we could test it. Next, the beds were delivered and setup, only 21 hours after the beds were ordered. WOW. True story, right after the delivery guys left, my mom took a nap on her new bed, and when she woke up, she was happy and refreshed. Gordon made shopping and sleeping a joy. My advice, see Gordon when it comes time to buy furniture.

We had previously purchased a mattress and wanted to replace it because we found it to be too soft. Since we had purchased the platinum plan we were able to replace the mattress with a firmer one. Our sales rep was extremely helpful and explain the details of the plan and helped us located the new mattress. He reviewed the purchase of the previous mattress and the replacement and explain the details for the cost of the replacement which we were very pleased with and gave us the delivery date when then would pickup and existing mattress and box spring and deliver the replacement. Want to thank John for all his help and to the cashier that assisted us in this transaction.

My husband and I wanted a couch with sleeper option. After being unsuccessful in other furniture stores we were warmly greeting by Brian at Raymour. The first couch we looked at was instantly the couch we both loved but it was more than we wanted to spend. Brian was so pleasant to deal with and easy to talk to. He showed us different options and different price ranges. Very happy with the service at the store and the time that was taken to give us a good experience. We did have a hiccup with delivery but in store experience was great.

Steve Kaj is the most knowledgeable salesman. He spent a lot of time with us during our initial purchase of a sofa and recliner. I found a sofa I liked, but not the colors it came in. He knew that the manufacturer had other colors available, and was able to custom order our sofa in a color we loved. This is why we went back to him 5 years later for our purchase of 2 recliners. We will only deal with him for all of our furniture needs. He is very patient and knows his furniture well!

Mom needed new furniture, so we went to Raymour & Flanigan since she's bought from them before. Found the furniture, they said the loveseat wasn't in the warehouse, but would be by Wed. Then, we would be notified of delivery time. We had to call every week to find out when it was coming. Customer service doesn't end when you sell it, you need follow through. If it's not in the warehouse yet, you need to tell people it's going to take longer. The delivery guys were great.

My mother and I had the pleasure of working with Mike! He was phenomenal!! He took the time and care to work with us and really had a feel for what we were looking for and the space in which we had to work in!!! We thank Raymour and Flanigan for their quality furniture and we thank them for hiring people like Mike who are looking to truly help the customers with their needs and not just looking to "make a sale" ! Thank you Mike!!!

I always have a good experience at Raymour on Richmond avenue. Our salesperson was Peter very wonderful guy he was very helpful and knowledgeable and caring. He had a lot of patience in measuring everything making sure that the size was good on the sofa sleeper for us. I had a very good experience as I did the last time I purchased from Raymour and Flanigan. That's one of the reasons I decided to go back. Sales rep very courteous and helpful. Not pushy which is wonderful. He told me his name and he was there to help me anyway he could and he was. Obviously since my experiences with R and F have been positive, I'll go back whenever I need any furniture.

Friendly & knowledgeable service people. The stock of furniture is ample. They played ball on pricing. Sales person Steven K. was very cordial & helpful. During the final close of sale the back office lady helping with final paperwork was not friendly or personable. That is the only reason I did not give a fifth star. Overall, a fine experience. I would revisit this location.

Gordon was very kind and professional. He took the time to connect with me and my needs. He was also knowledgeable about the pieces I was looking at and put in the effort to get answers to my questions. I would have liked to have seen more options on the sales floor, but I guess space is limited and not everything online can be shown in the physical store locations.

This place is great!! Sales associate Gordon F. is highly recommended. He helped my parents with a new sofa set and he also helped my wife and I for a chaise lounge. Not taking my old mattress because it had a stain didn’t mean it was torn or had exposed springs. It will be very difficult to get rid of my old mattress, as I’m in a wheelchair. This is why I asked before I bought. Not impressed. Bob’s would have taken it.

I purchased a box spring and mattress in January 2019 $2000 with a 10 warranty, today it has a 1” dip they do nothing until there is a 1 1/2” dip! So buyer beware.. plus we are 70 years old!!! Take advantage of the elderly!!!
