Oct 2023 Recently revisited and deciding to increase the rating as we feel the service has significantly improved. Food quality remains good. ____________________________________ Feb2023 One of the few places that still do all you can eat yum cha, though not exactly cheap $66pp. You'll find most of the usual popular dumplings available, but don't hesitate to ask them if something you're keen on doesn't seem to be available - sometimes they have it, they just bring it direct to table instead of having it on the carts. 10% surcharge on Sunday lunches and public holidays. Quality is ok for the price. Service could be better.

Did the $70pp all you can eat yum cha option. Lots of different food to choose from and the servers are constantly bringing new dishes to the table. Not the best yum cha I’ve ever had but considering it’s central location and the amount of food we were able to eat for $70, it’s worth the price. The dumplings were great, but the chicken feet were bland. Service was very rushed and we felt like the staff wanted to get us in and out quickly even though the venue was only half full.

Hadn’t tried many of their dishes, only the lobster noodle and desserts. The lobster was very flavourful and cooked fresh, the pineapple fritter was basic but the affogato was simply amazing especially on a warm summer evening. Venue was spacious, there was an outdoor seating area with a nice view of the river. Cocktail list was decent.

Lovely spot for an evening meal. Service is fantastic and so many gluten free options. We also had a couple cocktails which were nice! Booked online and were seated on the outdoor balcony area which was a lovely temperature with the heaters and had a beautiful view of the river. Food was served quite quickly as well.

Had a beautiful experience here on New Years Eve...sat on the balcony and the atmosphere was just amazing. The food as always, was cooked to perfection and so much flavour....very fresh and cooked in a timely manner. We had a lovely young waiter and he was just wonderful. Highly recommend to sit out on the balcony on a warm night. This is one of my very favourite places to go.

Fantastic Cantonese cuisine. Very good wine list. Ate here again last Sat night. Everything was great except for a minor issue with my Peking duck which one of the managers (Kenny) sorted out for us straight away. Loved the french crepes!!

They had variety of yum cha selection. If you order any dumpling, it will be as good as the other one. Avoid peking duck dumping and rice noodle prawn. I love the rest of the food. The dumpling skins are thin. Recommended to try squid calamari tentacle.

This restaurant has withstood the test of time. I remember coming here 20 years ago and my most recent visit was Xmas Eve 2021. Food is delicious. Fresh, full of flavour. Tofu was the only thing that was average in terms of dishes. Ice cream was abysmal. Go downstairs. Definitely worth the drive in to come here at least once.

I had a wonderful lunch at Red emperor. Loved that we had a table outside overlooking the river. Service was good and attentive, and so was the food. Particularly enjoyed the prawn dumpling (the one with the prawn outside). Price-wise was similar to the price in HK (Maxim at City Hall). Tip was well-deserved.

Authentic Chinese food prepared with style. The staff is very friendly, even some of them don't speak a fluent English, but the service is great. My friends and I visited for CNY '22 and everything was great. Awesome entertainment as well with the Dragon dance. Recommend for groups and even couples.

They squeezed us in on a busy Saturday night. Service was average, staff not very friendly and if they had been more attentive we would have ordered another drink. Food was quick to come out and was amazing. $5 for a small plate of prawn crackers is a bit rich but overall we enjoyed dinner More

If you’re a yum cha fiend and can polish off 8 to a dozen plates by yourself, Red Emperor is a great option for lunch. All you can eat yum cha - what a godsend. Friendly service and the team really aims to please. Delicious food served piping hot - I definitely got my money’s worth More

Over priced, the lobster is $288/kg, we got 2 tiny one which is 1.3-1.5 kg each with noodles already cost $748, you can see in the photo The table service is very slow, the potion is small as well, dishes is a bit too salty, overall very disappointed ☹️ NOT RECOMMENDED More

A incredible example of professionalism and skills. Our experience with the customer service, atmosphere, menu choices and quality of food was beyond any 5 star rating. The best meal and service we have had for as long as I can remember. Thank you. More

A stylish and relaxed dining experience. The menu is authentic Chinese with a few surprising twist which make it an exciting ordering experience. The food came to the table quickly and the flavours where just amazing. Great place for a

The service was terrible. We sat there for ten minutes without a waiter. We ordered quail, but the waiter brought squab and told us there were out of quail when my chopsticks had already touched the dish. I think it's very unethical.

Terrible dining experience ever. Foods tastes average, were overpriced with the tiny portions. Poor staff services, took 20mins to serve the beer and steam rice.

Visited on a Friday night and the service and food were both great. Our waiter Hari was very kind and attentive throughout our meal, and the food was both excellent in portion size and taste. Will visit again! More

Came here for lunch. The place is buzzing with customers. We ordered Tim sum. The dim sum was good. Prawns dim sum was fresh. Service was good although the food trolley was slow in coming. Overall good lunch
