As an artist I don't recommend this gallery unless you're just looking for a nice space to hang your work for a couple of weeks. I was genuinely excited to show here but was left feeling very disappointed and frustrated by the entire experience. *Poor communication *Ineffectively run show which hindered my ability to make my own sales *Catalogue not released until several days into show *No shipping option in online store *Gallery sales not updated on online store *The experienced sales consultant you pay for just says "hi" as their sales strategy *Myself and friends didn't see any of the sponsored advertising until the last day of the show, after I raised the issue with the owner For $2300 I expected a lot more. I really felt they did the absolute bare minimum, if that. My queries about the running of the show and feedback were not well received. I was told I should have done more research and known how they operated, so, for any artists doing their research, I hope this helps. I've shown at several other local artist run galleries that are so much more professional, charge half as much and are actually incentivised to at least attempt to sell your work. Edited in response to owner: I'm very happy for the other artists who sold work however my review is not specifically to do with sales. I'm confident in my work and know it is very saleable in the right environment. My feedback was regarding my personal experience with the gallery which I shared for other artists to consider.

Went to visit here for an amazing exhibition by Lucy Lucy & Kathrine - their art was amazing but the hospitality of the gallery was not it. Turning off the lights at 8:05pm because you want people who have come to support artists and their friends to exit your venue is inconsiderate and rude. There were visitors there who were vision impaired - the behaviour of turning off the lights very disappointing and dangerous. I hope the two amazing artists get to reshow their art at gallery that respects their guests and you take this as an opportunity to do better.

Have just packed up my exhibition at Red Gallery and cannot speak more highly of my experience of exhibiting with them. The staff were friendly, encouraging and welcoming of my work and provided visitors with excellent information about my processes as an artist. And the hot chocolate and coffee is perfect...

Let me tell you…. Tonight I took my mum to special night to the gallery to enjoy the beautiful and amazing art of the very talented Katherine Gayler. As expected it was a grandiose night, Katherine paintings were marvellous. Thank you for the great service.

A brilliant gallery that supports up and coming artists. Always impeccably curated and ever changing. Always find the staff to be warm and welcoming. Hard to leave empty handed which I don’t more often than not! Running out of wall space pretty soon..

If you have an exhibition here, they will kick everybody out by forcibly turning all the lights inside the gallery off at 8pm without notice or warning, zero respect! Lucky the elders didn’t fall whilst walking out of there in the dark, you’d be sued

Recently I had a show at Red Gallery. The whole experience was terrific! The staff were all astute, generous and helpful, ensuring the success of my show. The space had excellent natural light. I am very happy with my show at Red Gallery!

Very interesting exhibits but unfortunately no descriptive notes. Some of the pieces were very intriguing and I would have appreciated some background as to the artist's motivation, inspiration etc.

Such a beautiful space and so glad the coffee is up and running again! The barista was so friendly and honestly such a great cup of coffee :) excited to come back and see more and more exhibitions

I went to pick up my work that was in a group exhibition at the appointed time but the gallery was closed. I have sent them two emails and neither have been replied to.

Beautiful art space with great natural lightning and interesting exhibitions. Close to the Edinburgh Gardens and very easy to get to on public transport.
